they were scheduled to come out in a day and we were given a timeframe. the service guy came in that narrow window just as scheduled. he said it'd take 15 mins to fix and it took less.

The door looks nice. The door was squeaking later. He came out that day to fix it. It was a minor issue and it was something that he needed to show us so we could prevent it. It was easily fixed. The service was fine. Their prices were a little higher than some other estimates we received. They have been in business for a really long time. This was the first time we used them. They were professional and on time.

Completed work on time and cleaned up well. Good work and good service.

The man doing the installing of the garage door motor and the wireless entry system did a fabulous job. I was with him for most of the working period. There were two issues that he had to make a return trip for. He was able to come back and fix one of the two problems but the other he was not able to resolve. It was due to my door being almost 20 years old and the parts had changed to the point where Cunningham's inventory didn't have a proper replacement. Anyway, that was fine. The reason for the B grade instead of an A is because of the multiple contact attempts I had to make to get to the final resolution of that problem. It's far from being a red flag...just an annoyance of getting return contact. I never once thought they were not going to refund the portion of the bill where I had already paid for the unreplaceable gasket. Also, btw, I am not an "easy" grader so getting an A from me is tougher. Note to Angie: Along those lines, a suggestion ==> I don't think you should have a "default" rating. Make the user pick a rating.

Their prices are competitive and we have not had any problems with them. They are also very professional.

I have an old overhead garage door that needs replacing..and I know it. But when the frame separated and made it impossible to use I called Cunningham Overhead Door. The service rep came within 24 hours of my call. He took a look and honestly said he didn't think he could do much for it. I started having visions of replacing the door close to the holidays But he started work and about an hour later--I had a usable serviceable garage door again. He did a very nice repair job and now I had some time before replacing the door. I will more than likely use Cunningham for the new door purchase as well. Very pleased with the work.

Woke up on a Monday to find my garage door opener unresponsive. I'd heard something "odd" the night before when closing the door, but didn't notice what had caused the noise. When it didn't open in the morning, we realized that one of the springs had broken in half, right along the weld. It was about 11am before I remembered to call Cunningham. They said they already had someone in the area and could look at it within the hour. Not only did they arrive as stated, they had replacement parts on the truck and they fixed it right away. We opted to replaced both springs due to the age of the parts. Cunningham has done various types of work for us throughout the years...insulate, replace, repair, etc., and I've always had a positive and professional experience.

I got several estimates on the garage door. They responded the quickest and had the lowest price. They showed up when they were supposed to And did the work quickly.

While I would gladly use this company in the future, I could not continue working with them on a new front door. The salesman told me that the features I wanted would not be possible with a Provia door. I checked with another dealer and was told that I would certainly be able to get those features so my communication with Cunningham ceased at that point. The estimate was very fair for the standard door.

The service representative was very courteous and prompt and he explained our option before we agree upon repairs. The service representative performed the repairs in a timely manor and cleaned up after he finished.

I have used them before and they were always cost effective and professional. We have two doors, the wife's side was fine. My side, over several months, required me to literally be directly in front of the door before the clicker would work. One day, I opened it and as I drove in, it closed on it's own hitting the hood of the car. Then upstairs, I heard it open on it's own. Obviously there was a problem. I disconnected it and operated it manually for a few days. Called Cunningham and a tech came out and said that there was a faulty logic board and that because of it's age (most likely 20 yrs old) it couldn't be fixed, and had to be replaced because of newer safety requirements. He didn't have parts, I had to schedule. Kurt showed up as scheduled, and performed a perfect install in about 1.5 hrs. Total professional. Now as I drive in, one click opens yards before the door. Happy camper.

My garage door opener quit working Sunday night. I called Cunningham Overhead door the following morning to see if someone could come out to repair it. They said they would call me if/when a serviceman became available later that day. They did call a few hours later. The service man came promptly, looked at the garage door opener, knew exactly what the problem was, gave me a price and went to work. He worked quickly and had the problem remedied within an hour and presented me with the bill which was precisely the amount he had quoted me. He was very professional and courteous and I would recommend this company to anyone needing garage door service.

They were prompt, meticulous with their work and went above and beyond in the service. Found rotting wood around one opening in this 100 year old house. The contractor doing the install did a wonderful job getting the new wood needed on a tough project that wasn't first seen. He took pride in doing all the repairs needed throughout the project. Highly recommended for both cost and service.

Excellent! They were prompt and repaired our garage door in about 30 minutes. It works better than it ever has before. We will definitely contact them again and will recommend them to our friends.

Fast, efficient, knowledgeable about the garage door. Not only fixed current problem but remedied a spring mismatch that probably contributed to the problem in the first place. This tech left a very positive impression that would cause me to call them again immediately.

good. The tech struggled with the opener: the first one was broken; the second one worked but the installation instructions were completely in the wrong order. I'm sure we never would have figured it out if we had done it ourselves.

If it is emergency they come as soon as they can. They come do the work and then leave.

I called for an estimate and it took them a while to get back to us. Once they did, we were pleased with the product they carried and the price seemed reasonable. We were told that our new door would be installed within a week and that we would be called a day in advance to schedule. It took them two and a half weeks from the original estimate to install our door, which isn't too bad. Our only issue is that when we asked our installer for a handle (like the door in the brochure they gave us) we were told they didn't have handles. I called the office and asked about the handles and was told that they usually don't install them, but they would be happy to have the gentleman who schedules their installers set up a time to have handles installed on our door. We are still waiting for that. Our door looks great and works well. If we get our handles installed we will be very happy. I can say that when I have called their office, the customer service has been excellent. We just would like to have a handle in case our power ever goes out...otherwise we aren't quite sure how we will open and close our new door! update: 7/26/12 - A few days after posting our review we did receive a call to schedule one of their installers to come out and put a handle on our door. The gentleman who did the work was very professional and helpful! Since our door had been installed about 10 days earlier, he made adjustments and oiled everything and installed our handle on the inside (garage side) of our door and left a second one for my husband to install if he wanted another one in a different place! Wow! That is definitely customer service! I think I would change my rating to "A" for excellent customer service! We did find out that this company has been extremely busy due to a lot of hail damage in our area and that is why it took a little bit longer to get everything done for us. We will definitely spread the word that this is a company we highly recommend to all our friends!

They did a really nice job. Our garage door is doing well. They were prompt.

I took the remotes to their store and a technician quickly determined that all 3 were bad and would need to be replaced. They had replacement units available for $45 each. I decided to not buy, but check around on prices. I found the same remotes on the web for about half (including the shipping). Although I ended up buying the remotes elsewhere, I marked Cunnignham's price as an "A" because the service rates quoted seemed reasonable and they tested my remotes for free (a price that is tough to beat).

When I call them they come out very quickly. They have a 24 hour emergency after hours line to call. Their prices and quality of work are excellent. They're punctual, responsive and professional.
