Description of Work: I cannot understand some of the reviews when I found Larry to be very forthcoming about the strengths and weaknesses of his skill-set. He was punctual and went about his work methodically, which is exactly what I was looking for in a handyman. |He clearly stated that he did not have in-depth electrical skills and would do what he was comfortable with...again absolutely no issues with the quality of his work. |Extremely good experience with Larry - he's a wonderful gentleman and totally humble in nature.

Description of Work: NOTHING ! Purchased the $250 service. He was sooooo busy at first that he couldn't get to me. Always had an excuse. Then when he was available I could not use him because my father in law died. Then when I contacted him......he was too busy again. Then my mother passed away. Then when I contacted him again he said it was past due the time of the service and couldn't do it. BUT if I still wanted his service that I would have to pay an extra $150 ! What I originally needed him for I had already got someone else do the work! So now all I needed was TWO boards replaced by a door! Could of taken less than hour to do. But he had my money so he didn't care.

Description of Work: Larry painted my 2 story foyer, stairwell and connecting upstairs hallway - cleaned up after himself and did a great job. We repainted the same color but different finish so after noticing a missed spot here or there, he had no trouble to go back and touch up - can't recommend Larry enough!

 + 0 moreLarry responded to my request for an estimate in early April, and I accepted his estimate. He indicated he had other projects, and asked if my job could wait until mid-May. That was no problem for me, and he agreed to contact me and arrange a more specific time around mid-May. He called me around May 13th, and asked if he could begin the work on May 17th. I agreed. Since the work was outdoors, he indicated that if we weren't home, he would leave an invoice and I could mail him a check. He showed up around mid-morning on May 17th, spread drop cloths around the areas, used chlorox to clean the mildew, tightened loose screws he found on the porch railing, primed and painted all the wood areas around the house. It took him about six hours to complete and clean up, and the work looked great. I was very happy with his work, his professionalism, and I won't hesitate to use him again for painting and/or handy-work.
Description of Work: Larry Veech responded quickly to my request for an estimate, provided an estimate, gave me an estimated date of completion, and did the work. I asked that he paint several wood areas around the exterior of my house, i.e., door frames, around the garage door, porch railing, etc. The porch railing had mildew on it, and he noted that some screws were coming loose. Paint was peeling around a garage door frame, and paint on other wooden door frames were also beginning to peel.

Description of Work: He has completed numerous projects around my house. He has built a tree house, designed and built a fantastic screened in porch, painted a bookshelf, painted house inside and out and has done minor landscaping.
