CertaPro came to my house and gave me an estimate for my condo interior, in which I agreed to purchase all paint myself. The estimate was fair and the owner promised his staff would do better than most due to "engineered training." That was the first lie. Before they even began painting my place, the owner rescheduled with me 3 times due to his busy schedule. Next, his staff rushed as quickly as possible to paint my place and did a very poor job. They didn't cover my previous paint color in numerous areas and the edging was terrible. I had the owner return to my condo to review the lousy paint job. He agreed the work was sub par and agreed to touch up a majority of the obvious mistakes. That was the second lie. He only touched up one spot and then billed me extra for supplies he hadn't included in the first estimate. He never followed up with me even though I requested a phone call. I highly recommend using another paint service if you want anything professional.

The work crew arrived promptly and worked very hard. They did some cleanup work for us so that they could do the job more quickly at no increased cost. They were very methodical in prepping the areas for staining which is why the staining looked so good. A very even finish. We are very pleased with the final appearance.

It was a pleasure working with Lee and his crew (led by Alex). They were prompt, fast and professional. Lee was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations, and the crew completed the power-wash one day, and returned the next morning to complete the house in one day. They also completed a minor repair to a door frame before painting it. The work was completed on time, on budget and with professionalism. I paid a bit more than other bids due to the reputation Certa-Pro has for quality on Angie's List, and I'm happy that I did.

Lee Sapata showed up on time and was very professional all the way through the process. The estimate was given to me before he left. After talking to my wife we decided to go ahead with them. The paint crew showed up on time with Lee who went over with them what we wanted done. I advised him I would be out of town on Friday so I needed the work complete in 3 days. He said he would be done in 2 days. I was skeptical as our home is2400 square feet and there was drywall repairs to do as well as removing some wallpaper. The first day 3 guys removed the wallpaper repairedcracks, blemishes, prepped the walls and painted the ceilings. The next morning they came with 4 guys and painted the walls, 2 coats. I was amazed at the speed of their painting while doing such a good job. When they were done Alex, the lead man, took me through the house to check everything. He advised me to check everything out and make a list of any touch up that might be needed and to call Lee and they would come back and touch up. Lee called me that evening to see how it went. I said good and went ahead and paid him in full. After a few days when my wife and I had a chance to go over the whole house we made a list and I called Lee back. He had his guys come back out and 45 minutes later everything was perfect. My experience with them was as good as it gets. I will be calling them next summer to paint the exterior of our house. It has been my experience in the past that when you pay a contractor in full you have a hard time getting back out for anything further. Not these guys. They're the real deal.

Excellent quality work. Price was about one third more than finding an individual to do the work. Chose to pay a premium for a known quantity good product. Might try to find an individual next time to save money.

The work was done well and over a period of three days. Our house looks great, and I would recommend Lee and his crew to anyone. They did a wonderful job painting and cleaning up their mess, however I do want to note that I needed to wash the windows after the work was done because of handprints, etc., but I think this should be expected. I appreciate that they continually checked with me to see if I had any concerns, questions, or comments.

My home is over 100 years old. They painted my entire home and the detached garage. He is certified in EPA lead-based paints. They were very efficient, professional, and had great communication. They did a lot of prep work. We found a couple issues with the old wood and the roof on the garage. He was able to recommend sub contractors to fix the issues and they turned out to be very good as well.

Lee came to my home personally and discussed all of my options and then set up an appointment for a color specialist to visit me. This was wonderful and actually changed my mind about what color scheme I wanted to use in my kitchen. We set up a schedule to perform the work the next week. Billy was the painter and did a great job. He always talked to me about things he was finding and his progress. He was also very good about working around the contractor that was in the same room (I know, not good planning on my part). Billy was also very good at coming back for touch ups and putting up with my pickiness. The rooms are now awesome.!

I am extremely pleased with every aspect of the job that Certapro performed. I received price quotes from three companies with A ratings on Angie's List before finally selecting Certapro to perform the work. Each company detailed every aspect of the job in their price quotes and all came in within a few hundred dollars of each other but none went to the level that Certapro did to insure my satisfaction. The owner, Lee Sapata was clearly the deciding factor in my selecting Certapro to do the work. The Certapro bid was slightly higher than the others I received, but as we reviewed each aspect of the job not only did Lee matched the price, he also guaranteed that I would achieve all the results I was after. No other company would guarantee that my greyed cedar decking would be restored to its original color. Lee brought a manufacturer rep to meet with me to review the products that would used on my job so I felt confident that I would achieve the result I was after. Once I selected Certapro, Lee also offered a color consultant to help me choose the paint colors for my house and trim accents. I made an appointment for her to come to my house to consult with me. She was very professional and had an excellent eye for color. Slight variations in paint colors can have a dramatic impact on the results and I am very pleased that I decided to go with her color choices. The results are stunning. It was also very important to me that the work would be done prior to Derby. Even though my other contractors caused a delay, Lee worked with me and shifted his crew to allow the other contractors to catch up. Overall, I could not be happier with the job Certapro performed. Lee and his crew were wonderful to work with. The lead painter insured that anything I brought to his attention was immediately attended to and Lee was never more than a phone call, text message or email away. Having used a variety of painters in the past, I can say unequivocally that I would use Certapro again. Every aspect of the job was professionally done. From the initial quote to the final clean-up and completion of the job, they performed as they said they would and they stood firmly behind their work. I have no qualms in highly recommending them for any paint job in the future.

THE PAINTER DID A WONDERFUL JOB, STARTED ON FRIDAY, MONDAY AND FINSHED ON TUESDAY. I FELT IT WAS A LITTLE BIT PRICEY THAT I FINISHED UPSTAIR MYSELF AND THE DOWNSTAIR BATHROOM.

Every member immediately set about the work and worked tirelessly for 10-12 hours most days (their work ethic, not my requirement). Lee also stopped by often to check on progress or provide direction. End result? I could not be happier with the result and - after living here for 2 years - can finally say this feels like this is MY HOUSE. The color transformation was from dull gray with blue shutters to a deep, warm brown with ivory trim and red shutters. The neighbors have offered rave reviews, in addition to securing Lee for some of their own projects too.

$8600 was a lot to swallow but it was by far worth it. We put $25k in to the house (roof, windows, siding, insulation, floors) and after dealing with the roofers (crooks) I was really skeptical about what might go wrong with the painting. Nothing did. Lee's crew was professional and informative. The reason we gave a B on price was that we had lead paint and the required EPA stuff kicked the price up. Everything else was stellar. Lee owns the company. I had his direct cell number from the get-go and he either answered or called me back that day. RARE! I highly recommend CertaPro. Highly. Our house looks fabulous. Ask Lee to see the before and after shots of the historic New Albany home. You'll see why we were blown away.

Perfect! We were able to paint most of our rooms ourselves but our stairwell was too dangerous and difficult for us. Lee's crew came out and did an amazing job, didn't get a drop on our new floor!

Lee is great to work with. He had great suggestions and did his best to make sure we were happy. He was extremely reasonable. I am very pleased with CertaPro's paint job- came out great with no mess and my neighbor already asked for their number. I have the kind of neighborhood that if your house or yard doesn't look sharp, the neighbors will come over to talk to you. CertaPro's painting crew were excellent from start to finish. His crew of workers was efficient and friendly. They spent far more time than we would have expected preparing the outside for paint. Our bright white porch makes our American Flag really stand out and wave brightly in front of our home! We are very pleased with how the whole look came together.

I was pleased with the process, as everything form the bidding process to finishing touches were handled well. The crew also made sure not to get any paint on the trim, furniture and new carpeting.

It was a good experience. He is very personable and easy to work with. We were happy with the results. There were a couple mistakes but they were fixed immediately; he follows up with you to make sure you are happy with the work. I would recommend him.

We were happy with the work but the price was a little expensive. The crew was very friendly and professional about there work. I appreciated how they took there time and didn’t make a mess. They were on time to the job and worked quickly to get the work done.
