Royally screwed up our carpet. No real way to fix it. When I called to talk about making it right he accused me of being nasty, blamed my contractor and hung up on me. STAY AWAY!!

Complaint: I contacted Carpet RX of Louisville to clean the carpet. There were several stains and an intense pet odor. The odor elimination was stress as the primary reason for cleaning. Once the owner arrived at the house Saturday, we discussed him cleaning the in the basement floors and the tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom. I emphasized again the pet smell plus the need for the grout to be clean on the tile floors. We agreed to a price and that afternoon he and his wife began cleaning. When I return, they were finishing the last of the main floor tiles. The house had a pleasant smell because of the chemicals used for cleaning, but the grout did not seem to be cleaned and I mentioned it to his wife. She said it will be clean, but the floor were wet. Once the floors dried and the chemical smell left, the pet odor was not any better! There were several spots on the floor, and the tile grout was not cleaned. I called Monday and said there were problems with the cleaning, and he said he could come back over to clean it again. That sounded fair so I said okay. He said he would call me back to schedule a time to come back. Two days later, Wednesday, he had not called, so I call him. He did not answer, so I left a message. Two more days past (Friday), he had not call back, so I called again. He did not answer, so I left another message. I suspected he was screening my calls, so I called from my work phone. He answered this time! When I said who I was, he said he was up to his knees in ?p*ss and sh*t? and he could not talk and hung-up on me. He never called back. Desired Settlement: I only want the carpet to be cleaned properly and the pet odor to be addressed. Furthermore, I expect the grout to be cleaned. A quick and simple return of my phone call and re-cleaning will suffice.

Carpet Rx never showed.
Description of Work: I purchased a Groupon for carpet cleaning and air duct cleaning. After several attempts to reach them, finally got an appointment scheduled. I had to move it, then they cancelled the next appointment indicating a piece of equipment failed. The next appointment they called at 11:00 (the appointment time) and told me I was outside the service area. After a few exchanges, they agreed to come, however, waiting two hours and no one showed or called. Numerous attempts to reach the business were not returned.

I purchased a voucher from living social for $79. I called and set up an appointment to have the duct cleaning and the carpets cleaned and I added on the upholstery cleaning. The appointment was set for in the morning a month away, when the day finally came no one showed up. I called and left a message and received a call back later in the afternoon that they were very behind but would still come... they didn't. I called the next day and left a message asking to reschedule, I didn't get a call back. My husband and I continued to call for the next 3 weeks still no luck. I was pregnant at the time and was sleeping on a air mattress in the living room because all the furniture was moved out of the bedrooms. My husband naturally became irritated with their lack of professionalism and decided to call one final time from a friends phone. They answered on the third ring, when my husband asked why they hadn't returned our calls and when they were going to come to complete the services, the man literally said that because we "bugged" them so much they weren't going to perform the services and hung up. We were able to get a credit back on our livingsocial account but were not able to get a refund because it was past 30 days.
Description of Work: The appointment was set up for duct cleaning, 2 carpets cleaned & a over sized chair cleaned.

Bought vouchers for cleaning through Yollar. Have never been able to redeem vouchers as company does not respond to email or phone requests. I'm out the $120 dollars and will have to spend additional funds to clean my carpets. Very disappointed. Yollar, via WHAS 11, has stopped its program here in Louisville, so no recourse there. At the time they quit services in Louisville, I was advised my vouchers were still viable. All a big lie. 've filed complaints with WHAS 11 and the BBB of KY -- no response from either. Hopefully, Angie's List review will prevent other folks from being duped out of their money.
Description of Work: No services rendered. Would not return repeated phone or email correspondance.

We had an appt. scheduled for November 30th at 3pm. No one ever showed up and we tried to call them several times, no one answered. We tried calling several times over the next couple week leaving messages and call back numbers each time. No response. Finally, I submitted a complaint on their web site. They responded to get a refund from LivingSocial. Ridiculous customer service.

I purchased a deal from Yollar which was supposed to be a 10 vent air duct cleaning for $50. I made an appointment with the owner Brandon for Wednesday 5/9/12 at 12 pm. Got a call 12:15 pm saying they would be an hour late. Well I waited several hours and they never showed. I called a few times and did not get an answer. I called Thursday 5/10/12 and left a message, no call back. Called again Friday 5/11/12 and got the owner Brandon to return my call. He scheduled me a second appointment for Monday 5/14/12 (today) at 5p. The current time is 6:23p and once again nobody has shown up. I had to take off the rest of the day for the Wednesday appointment just for them not to show and then left early for the one today just for them not to show again. They have no regard for people's time and are very unprofessional.

Adam & Brandon arrived on time (actually early), and were quickly in 'n out. These two were pet friendly and even took time to play with my Boston Terriers. Adam is considering making one of them the Carpet Rx mascot. Bottom Line: These two guys love their job, do great work and were a pleasure to have in my home.
Description of Work: Cleaned all of my home's vents. They even took the additional step of cleaning the vent grates. Carpet Rx used a self contained suction unit which meant that, in the dead of winter, there weren't hoses or cords running through my front door. I used a Groupon promotion and the end result was WELL WORTH THE $$$.
