Description of Work: My designer, Laura, did a wonderful job working with us and designing our perfect closet space. |Mike and Matt did the tear out and construction of the new closets. They were incredibly professional and did such a fantastic job from start to finish. They didn't leave until everything with perfectly in place. |I couldn't be any happier with the team that I worked with and my new closets!

Description of Work: I had the small closet in my son's room remodeled. From beginning to end, the process of working with California Closets was a pleasure. The saleswoman, scheduler and installer all communicated well with us on each step. I had a clear picture of the design they had created and the final product was true to that blueprint. They installed shelving and drawers, as well as a hamper unit. They allowed me to choose the materials to fit my budget. In order to keep our costs down, they gave us the opportunity to paint the closet ourselves between the tear out of existing structures and installation of the new features. I am very happy with the new organizational ease of my son's closet.

Description of Work: The project was a total remodel of the master bedroom closet. Teardown and installation were done as scheduled. Almost immediately, my wife found that the edges of the shelves were more than sharp enough to cause injuries. She repeatedly gashed her hands on them. We were not warned about this hazard. | |There were also a couple of errors in placement, plus errors in the original measurement (such as of a belt rack height, which was much smaller than the average belt length). | |An adjustment visit was scheduled. However, they called at the last minute to say that the drawer we ordered hadn't come in and had to reschedule. California Closets finally made the promised adjustments. Some adjustments to the adjustments were needed, as the new drawer installed was misaligned. | |Start to finish, this "one day job" took three weeks.

+ -1 moreAbout 6 weeks after my design consultation, the installation guys came to my home to install the closet. Mine took 1 day to install with 2 men working, they came on a Saturday. They were prompt and courteous. Due to another situation, I left the installers alone in my house (something I never do). There were no problems. There were a couple of minor issues. I let my design consultant know and I had an appointment for them to come take care of the issues. No problems.
Description of Work: Anthony was my design consultant who came to my home to measure and develop a plan for my master bedroom closet. Anthony was personable and professional. He wanted to know what I thought of his initial design and immediately made adjustments according to my comments. Anthony was a genius at the computer program that helps design the closet space.

We met again and he was able to show me all dimensions of it on the computer so that I could really picture it. He showed me real samples of all the options of materials, told me about their lifetime warranty and the sales they were running at the time. He emailed the pics to me so I could discuss with my husband at home. Installed in one day by very pleasant carpenter-beautiful! I can't believe what a difference it has made in our organization!

+ 0 moreA representative came out to the house and showed me pictures on a computer of what my closets would look like. These pictures had backs shown, but when the closets were delivered, there were no backs. The company did provide the backs at no additional charge, but now that the closets are installed, some of the design was incorrectly done; sections that were supposed to be for my closet is on my husband’s side, and a section of my husband’s closet is on my side. They were all very nice, pleasant, and did correct the mistakes that I have brought to their attention, but I’m not 100% happy with the work because of the shelving mix-up.
Description of Work: We had custom closets installed: a section for my husband and a section for myself.
