We paid way over what this shoddy job should have cost. Since opening our shop we have had to finish the projects that BVC did not complete, replace inferior items that we were charged quality prices for - our entire shop has had to be repainted because of the cheap paint that was used. We were lied to continuously about the reasons for the delay in this project and their construction manager sent us insulting racist and prejudicial texts when we questioned him about items. I would caution anyone considering this company to beware. They cheated and lied to us - did an inferior job. Marcos has good ideas but cannot follow through - is not interested unless it is an extremely profitable (to him) project. We also had many of his sub contractors come back to us later saying he either never paid them or only paid them in part. So we were not the only ones who lost out.

Hi: I had Mr Marcos the owner of Buena Vista Construction do a great renovation on my 1/2 bath. He completely gutted and redid everything, electrical , plumbing, tile job, etc. He came highly recommended by 2 coworkers of mine. My wife came up with the whole concept [colors, tile, basin, etc] and Marcos and his crew performed an unbelievable job. This was an old guest bathroom and we needed to give it a change since it is the one that most people use when they come to our house [dinner parties, etc]. Marcos was on time every day. The one day he was going to be 30 minutes late he gave us a call to let us know. He did this job in one week, cleaned up after himself every day. I do have pictures of the finished job but I wish I had them of the old look for you who are reading can compare. There was one hiccup. While redoing the plumbing work one of his workers punctured a water line. We stopped the main immediately and Marcos called a plumber who showed up 2 hrs later to fix the problem [on his dime]. I like his work so much that we had him retile the laundry room and he did that job too. I would use Marcos and time and have recommended him to several of my friends with good result.

I would rate them highly and I would use them again in the future.

The job took too long. They were messy and didn't clean up after themselves. They didn't show up when they said they would and then blamed me. When they were supposed to contact me they didn't. When I didn't hear anything I sent them a certified letter. He then called me and asked why I waited seven months. I said that he said he'd call me when he got back from vacation. I didn't care for his attitude. His project manager came in and took my doors off the hinges and took them with him to put the new stain and varnish on. He said he'd bring them back that Monday, but it took him two weeks. I called three different phone numbers before I was able to contact someone who said they'd bring the doors back. They were a mess; not professional at all.
