NEVER doing business with Bryant again. Story goes… We tried to fire up the furnace for the first time this Fall and of course it didn’t work. Decided to do a google search and landed on Bryant so I gave them a call. $80 flat fee for trip out. No problem. I was happy to hear that they could be out right away. Zack shows up goes down to furnace, I go upstairs. In about 5min he comes back showing me a picture stating “your heat exchanger is cracked, you can either replace for 3k or suggests getting a whole new unit for $6600.” W**. I then decide to get a second opinion. This company was wonderful, even asked me, “Did Bryant show me a picture?” I said “yes”. He then says, “Bryant will show you a picture stating they put a camera in and you have a crack in your heat exchanger. But you really don’t.” He then gets me back up in running in 30min $350 out the door. He knew a lot about these companies like Bryant running this b******* scheme! Unbelievable these people can even sleep at night.

Service was quick, as was the diagnosis and repair. That is deserving of 5 stars. I was informed of the $60 diagnostic charge up front, however I was not consulted after the diagnosis and before the repair was performed. The part itself cost between $9 and $25. The total bill was $321, therefore I was charged between $236 - $252 for 15 - 30 minutes of labor and mobile inventory stocking fee. Bryant lost 2 stars for their exorbitant pricing model. The service was great, but if you're of a mind to not get your bank account raped, OMG pass this one by.

Horrible, they burnt a hole in our siding , didn't wrap coil box with insulation. So our wood floor got wet. So we told them to come take the unit out. Kept trying to will and deal with us. So after we told them to come remove unit , David got nasty with my wife and when she asked about fixxing what they tore up he said not his problem , since we didn't want to make a deal. Very unprofessional.

The fan on our outdoor unit stopped spinning during a 100 degree day. We typically use another HVAC company for our repairs and installs, but they were booked the entire next day, so we took a chance on Bryant because they could arrive in a few hours. Big mistake. I could not be there, so my wife had to handle meeting the technician. He ended up finding a bad start capacitor for the fan, which is pretty common and an easy replacement. However, instead of replacing the capacitor like a normal HVAC company would, the technician proceeded to tell my wife that our compressor must be going bad because that's what causes the capacitors to go bad. Well, a) this was the start capacitor for the fan and had nothing to do with the compressor, and b) it is common knowledge (easy to verify with google as well) that capacitors go bad on their own every 2-5 years typically. The capacitor is there to store energy to help start the motor on the fan. The compressor had nothing to do with it. He proceeded to try and pressure my wife into purchasing an eight thousand dollar unit to replace our perfectly good unit instead of replacing the capacitor. Luckily, my wife called me, and I told her to just get the capacitor replaced so we could get the AC back on. Once the technician found out this is what we wanted, he proceeded to charge us over three hundred dollars to replace a $25 part that took him all of 5 minutes to swap out. These guys are crooks that tried to take advantage of my wife and lied to her about our existing unit being bad. I suggest you try another company.

Do not let Bryant RIP YOU OFF... Read this review and I promise it will save you a lot of money and aggravation. I am begging you please do not let what happened to me happen to you... The blower fan that circulates the air through the house would only come on when the thermostat was set to heat. I decided to have Bryant come out to the house to do the repair. This was a huge mistake... The first technician from Bryant checked my system and I was told the fan center needed to be replaced. He proceeded to tell me that since I had an older furnace it was a "hard to find part", if they could find the part it would be costly repair, and it would be better just to replace the furnace. This was an attempt by Bryant to mislead the customer to either facilitate the purchase of a new furnace or to inflate the cost of the repair. When I declined his offer to replace the furnace he was then able to find the necessary part. I received a quote for $971.00 which I accepted believing that the part I needed was going to be expensive because it was a "hard to find part"... After paying for the service I asked for an invoice showing the individual cost for parts and labor. I was informed that Bryant does not provide this information because they charge a flat rate. I have never heard of a company not providing this type of invoice and I never received any type of invoice for this repair whatsoever. This can only be an attempt by Bryant to mislead the customer to inflate the cost of the repair. Bryant had to come to the house four more times after I was given the original quote for the repair. The technicians seemed to not know what they were doing and acted very unprofessional. They did finally fix the problem but the whole process was extremely aggravating. After everything that had happened I decided to do some research. Bryant told me the fan center was a "hard to find part" and if they could find the part it would be costly repair. This was not true at all... This part can easily be found locally with prices ranging from $35.00 to $65.00. Again This was an attempt by Bryant to mislead the customer to either facilitate the purchase of a new furnace or to inflate the cost of the repair. I also received quotes from several other local companies for the same repair with prices ranging from $200.00 to $425.00 with parts and labor included. The $971.00 I was charged by Bryant is twice the amount of the highest quote I received and not even close to the industry standard. I was able to negotiate a refund of $371.00 after having to talk with a CSM at Bryant twice. This reduced the amount I paid for this repair to $600.00 which is still extremely high. Considering the lack of quality service provided and that I was grossly over-charged in the first place this refund is insufficient. Bryant does not seem interested at all about quality customer service. They are only interested in charging the highest amount possible for every service call they go on. Please do your research and check with other companies before you decide to use Bryant. I promise it will be worth your time. I was misled, provided with very poor service, and grossly over-charged. This whole experience with Bryant has just been absolutely horrible. I am considering filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Kentucky Attorney General's Office. I am hoping they will make this right before I have to do this but I am not holding my breath.

Technician arrived within 4 hours of calling. He quickly diagnosed that gas control value was not working. I was quoted $900 for replacement part (not including labor). I told him that the price seemed high. He showed me the cost on his phone and said some gas control values are over $1,000 . He also told me that the furnace was 15 years old and near end of life. (He did not inspect the rest of the furnace so it wasn't clear how he could make that assessment). I told him I would think about it. After he left I then did some quick research online and found an OEM replacement part at a large HVAC online retailer for $135 (+ $30 Fedex overnight shipping). This is retail price. I looked at the control value on the furnace to make sure the replacement part looked the same as the original . At that time, I noticed a white ash like substance on the gas control value switch and on the exhaust flue. It was quite obvious. After quick online search I found that this is called precipitant and is caused by condensation of exhaust gases in the exhaust flue. The gas control value switch is located directly below the flue on my furnace. I strongly suspect the gas control value failed because the precipitant leaked into the switch. I cleaned the connections to the switch and rigorously rocked the on/off switch back and forth. The furnace started working again. The technician did not mention anything about the precipitant nor did he clean the connections to the switch. I found multiple online video's showing how to replace a gas control value and went ahead and ordered the switch and replaced it myself in less than 1/2 hour. (following all safety procedures when working with gas). An experienced technician could have replaced the value in 15 minutes or less. I believe in paying a fair price for a service. I also value knowledge and experience. That said, I don't value a company who over charges/ gouges it's customers. The part cost is less than $135 and the labor is less than 1 hour. $900 is outrageous.

Not great.... Paid to not Have issue resolved

The fellow they sent was not very professional
Description of Work: I had them come out to look at my furnace , they arrived an hour late. By that time I had already fixed it by accident myself.( I pushed a reset button.) The fellow told me the motor was getting ready to go out, he also stuck a camera in and told me i needed a whole new furnace for $4000 By this time I knew he was a joke so I asked how much I owed for the service call he said $60. Well its been four or five months and the motors still fine.

They didn't charge me anything. It was not under warranty. Their prices are as good as anybody in town. They do quality work and they have knowledgeable technicians. They're on time and thorough. They cleaned up after themselves very well.

They told me that I needed a whole new air conditioning system for $4,000 but it was not the case. I called another company, had them look at it and they said I do not. He said the same thing about my furnace a year before.

They did some work on the air conditioner which I was not happy with, that would be the first one I used. Yea the air conditioning was bad, they changed it out it was under warranty but they provided the parts but the labor was very expensive I thought and the work that they did I wasn't pleased with quality of the work when they finish it didn't seem really professional. I could not recommend them to anyone because of the quality of work that was done. They could have check back to see if I was satisfied with the work and maybe correct some of the issue that I had an hard time getting that done.

It was a bad experience. They grossly overcharged me. I wish I had known a wider variety of services and what people offer before I had them do this job. I just hoped I got the right person to do the job and who would charge me right. There is no way to know in advance what they are going to charge me.

The Bryant associate that performed our inspection was great. We are selling our house and needed the inspection and cleaning performed as part of the repair agreement on the pending contract. He took his time and thoroughly inspected and clean both the AC and the furnace. He was very polite and even gave us some great advice on our new home!

.Great company I will use them again for all my rental property's. From the moment I contacted Bryant they understood my problem being at work and unable to get immediate help for my rental home. They also told me I could have acquired service on Sunday at no extra charge. So glad I called Bryant. I gave them free rein to charge me whatever it took to fix the furnace. The tech called and told me, "I'm only going to charge you $60.00, it was an easy fix". He could have charged hundreds and I still would have been happy to have my renter happy. It's great to find an honest company at last.
