Scheduled for 6:30 PM. Jeff Fenush called at 6:15 to say it would be about another hour before he arrived and would we still like him to come. I said fine. We live exactly 1 hour from Louisville. He said he got caught in traffic delay on the interstate and that he had actually left Louisville at 4 PM. I don't care what type of road problems he may have run into, it would never have taken him 3 1/2 hours to get here. Then when he arrived he shook my hand too hard (i'm a elderly woman)...didn't impress me one bit. First question was "How much do you want to spend?" He proceeded to make smart (rude) remarks about any and everything we discussed. We need 10 piers placed around our garage to bring it back into place, as the footer on one corner has eroded and the garage is basically pulling away from our house, with gaps around windows and doors and some cracking of the brick mortar. He never once even explained our problem or the solution, but only walked around, complaining that we (the homeowner) would have to do all the prep work so they could come and place the piers (remove 1/2 of a deck, perhaps even the corner posts which are mounted in concrete, part of our fenced dog pen, our heat pump. He said we should have seriously thought about getting the garage fixed before we put the deck on (which we did about 4 years ago). We didn't realize we had such a problem at that time. His quote was the highest we have received yet ($1500/pier), but he said he could reduce the whole job $250 for senior discount which i had to ask if they even offered it. When I expressed that it wasn't much of a discount ($250 discount off a $15,000 job is a joke), then he said "let me see what i can do" and then offered $250 off each pier, bringing the price more in line with previous quotes. He never presented us with any brochures about the product or how it would work. We had to ask for his business card. He never offered a time frame as to when they would be able to schedule the work . I had to ask about everything, which should have all been explained, like will you caulk the doors and windows and tuckpoint when you are done. He said "Oh yeah", so I made him write it on the quote. I thought that this rep was VERY rude and had no concern if we contracted with them or not. He had a terrible attitude and demeanor. i didn't feel that he was very polite, informative or considerate of our problem. Then, he thinks he has to shake my hand again...roughly...I about wanted to smack him up side the head. Wimpy shakes are not good either, but you need to consider the person you are shaking hands with. Strong but not brutal. And after supposedly taking 3 1/2 hours to get here, he was only here 15 minutes. We definitely will not contract with Bone Dry. Poor attitude and representation of their company.

Work was done quickly. We have not had any leaks since the repairs were done. Very professional and easy to work with. They explained all the repairs that needed to be done in terms that were easy to understand. I would use them again!

I had a good experience and would gladly work with this company again. Their work has a lifetime gaurantee. That is priceless to me considering the extra living space i will now have.

Their sales rep came out gave me an estimate and they were right in line with the other 2 estimate I received. The only reason we didn?t go with them was because our neighbors had used another company and was pleased with them.

From the time I booked my appt. until the completion call everything was phenomenol and well worth the money... We set an appt. up for estimated cost and how long it would take. The very next week they were here on time and they worked nonstop until the project was complete. They waterproofed my basement and added a air-dry system. They completed the job on time and did it with professionalism and great workmanship.

I met with a Bone-Dry salesman in mid-March. He reviewed the situation we had with multiple leaks in the basement. He explained their process and was very patient in answering my questions. The work was scheduled for the end of April. The crew arrived promptly exactly when promised. The entire crew of 5 was professional, friendly, efficient and clean. I found it hard to believe that the large amount of work to be done would be completed in two days, but they did it with time to spare. The foreman, Russell, was very nice to deal with and helpful with a plumbling problem that was found, unrelated to the waterproofing project. My only problem was that I did not understand that an open pipe would discharge water from the sump pump onto the sidewalk in the front of the house. I wish that the salesman would have been more careful about explaining where the water would go. I am reserving judgment on this issue for a couple of weeks or so to see how big of a problem it is on a regular basis. Russell told me that Bone-Dry would work with me on this if it is unaccepta

From the Initial phone call, (WHICH WAS AN ACTUAL PERSON) to the company representative to the Installation crew... this was a GREAT experience. They showed up when they said, did exactly what they said they were going to, and even went above and beyond when necessary. Based on past experiences with previous contractors this was a blessing!!! My basement is now a livable, clean, and DRY!!! and soon to be very livable-useable space. I really appreciated that this company was so patient with me through out the entire process, being a single woman I was very apprehensive about having a construction crew in my home... to my surprise, they were the some of the nicest people I have ever met !!! This was my second experience with Bone-Dry Waterproofing, Inc. and it will not be the last. From the moment I made the initial phone call to make the appointment for an estimate... things went perfectly!!! I explained that the waterproofing they did for me previously was wonderful and I had some other issues and asked if they could help. They made my appointment and Jeff the original representative came back out and gave me suggestions on how they could rectify the problems I was having and he was so on the ball the first time that I had no doubts about what he was suggesting I have done this time, I agreed and we made my appointment to have the work completed. They came to do the work in a very timely manner and some of the same wonderful workers came back to do the job...it was very nice being remembered and them taking such pride in their work and my home. I have to say my overall experience with this company AGAIN...was top notch...It is so nice to be able to call a company and have a live person on the other end of the phone instead of having a answering machine or a automated computer, its also very nice to have an appointment with them and have them show up when they say!!! The way they handle themselves from the initial contact to the finished product... is extremely professional and precise..Thanks again for another wonderful job...!!! Homeowner to homeowner...If you want a job done the right way and be treated like your not just a checkbook...call this company...you will not be disappointed!!!

On March 18th 2013 I had scheduled for a section of my basement to be waterproofed by Bone Dry Waterproofing. I met with Bone Dry a few months earlier and agreed on terms and a price. I called the morning of March 18th at 7:30 am and questioned if they would be working that day due to the amount of rain we had received that night and continued through that morning. Bone dry said they would be here regardless of weather conditions. At that time I felt confident to go to work and leave my parents at the house to supervise the job. I received a phone call from my father around 9:30 am telling me I needed to come home immediately. When I arrived, I heard the basement wall/foundation falling. When I came into the home and saw the damage, Bone dry told me that they would not touch anything until my insurance looked at it and that I needed to call my home owners insurance. I then contacted my insurance and made a claim. Bone dry didn't know what to do. The only thing Bone dry did was to stake off the exterior with caution tape and extremely thin plastic. Then they left. I took it upon myself to install temporary house supports. Thank goodness I have the ability and know-how to install supports to hold up the house. I was fortunate enough to be able to take care of this myself, as Bone Dry did nothing to help me stabilize my house. On March 19th 2013 I contacted Bone dry and ask to speak with the owner or the person in charge. The receptionist said that there was no one available, but she would have someone call me. No one ever called or tried to reach out to me and my family. We have a 6 month old and are now homeless due to the unsafe living conditions of our house. Bone Dry claims to be a family business, but they don't care about my family. They left us with unsafe living conditions and a huge mess to clean up. Now we are having to pay for this out of pocket with prices around $23,000 and lost wages for having to take off work to deal with this issue. I would NEVER use or recommend Bone Dry! One disgusted customer!

Overall, it was an excellent experience. They were very efficient and on time. They got the job done and the problem was solved. They did everything that they needed to do to keep it from coming through the crack in the basement wall to fix the foundation. I would definitely negotiate a more on the price.

2 man crew arrived on time and both were pleasant. Forman and Russell went over work to be done and finished in a timely manner. Should have put something down to cover floor in entrance.

The entire process was very smooth. Although this was a relatively small job for them, they handled it very professionally. We had to reschedule once due to bad weather, but they were here promptly on the re-scheduled date. The allowed me to view the patch before filling the earth back in over the foundation.

From the initial phone call to the office to set up my appointment to evaluate my problems to finishing the project, it was a great experience. They met me promptly for our appointment and explained in a way I could understand why my basement was leaking and what we could do to fix it permanently. After talking to a few other companies that made me feel uneasy, I decided to go with Bone-Dry Waterproofing and I'm glad I did. I was a little worried at first...it was a big project to me and it seemed like it was going to be a messy one also. I had what they call a inside/outside job done. The guys worked so hard and once they finished you couldnt even tell they had been there. I think the basement was cleaner when they left... From my conversation with Gretchen in the office and Jeff the estimator to the team of guys that did the work, it was an overall wonderful experience and I feel I can trust this company for years to come if I ever have another problem, which I doubt I will. Since I had the work done, my basement is leak free and I don't have any worries anymore which is very reassuring, I would highly recommend this company...no reason to even call others for comparison issue!!! Jeff, estimator, was on time, professional, very knowledgeable about work needed. Crew on time, courteous. Went over job in detail. Finished in timely manner.

I met representative of Bone Dry at Home Improvement Show. Set up an appointment for rep to come to house. They were 1 of 4 I had selected to come to my house. It was very competitive between 2 of them, but Bone Dry won out with a competitive bid and my Sales Rep, Jeff, excellent. They explained everything in detail what would be done and gave me the choice of dates that would accommodate my schedule. They arrived the morning on time as scheduled and encouraged me throughout the entire time they were in my home to ask questions and be involved. They were quick and cleaned up everything afterwards. Crew were all friendly and professional. They did followup afterwards to insure my satisfaction.

Their quoted price was about $7,000. I was pretty happy with everything they said; I did not see anything bad about what they talked about.

The salesman, who I talked to in the beginning, was very informative and very efficient. The work has been great. The workers that came out seemed to be on a lower end; they seemed to have left things in shambles. I had an irrigation system, and they uprooted one side of the system. They did not put it back together. I had to get the irrigation people out to re-install it correctly. I was not happy with them because they did not have enough knowledge about how to put it back together. I used Angie’s List to make the decision to use them. The person, who was running the job, was also trying to run another business outside the job; I did not think it was very professional. I would do more research on other companies before using them in the future.

Our experience with Bone Dry was excellent.

They did a thorough job checking the foundation and looking for causes. They also did a mold test. Overall they spent an hour checking our house and determined the leak is caused by problems with our deck. So their services were not needed. I appreciate the time they took checking our house and their honesty in the results. If we have problems in the future, I will definitely use them.

Team arrived promptly and immediately proceeded to excavate area of leak. They carefully removed my shrubbery, repaired the crack in the wall and restored the area to its original appearance. I couldn't have been happier with the service and professionalism of this company and its employees.

They were very professional and very nice. He told me exactly what he would do and how much it would cost. He said it would be $2,000. The guy was really nice and he was here when he said he was going to be here. He looked the problem over and told me what he thought it was. My friend that used them had recommended them to me. I expect they would have done a good job. I would call them again.
