BOLAND MALONEY LUMBER

Rep came to look at job. He said he could not get parts for windows. I asked for his recommendations. He did not have specific recommendation on fixing door which is still leaking. He said he would get back to me. I did not hear back; so I called two-three weeks later and was advised by his supervisor that he would get back to me. Three months later this has not happened. I am quite disappointed that no one contacted me to at least say they could not help me. Since they installed the outside door that leaks, I think they are not willing to accept responsibility for their work. I think it was unprofessional to leave me hanging with no follow up and I cannot recommend Boland Maloney.

Visited Boland Maloney showroom looking for beadboard to be installed in a 1/2 bath at the end of February. Found some that was very smooth and really looked nice. The sales person who waited on us was Sam Farwick, We told him what application we would be using the beadboard for and he suggested the yellow pine or birch and wrote the prices on the back of his business card. Our person installing the beadeboard picked it up several weeks later (3/1/11) and began installing it. The wood was very rough and nothing like the sample in the showroom. My husband and the installer went to Boland Maloney and asked why the sample of beadboard looked nothing like what we bought. My husband spoke to Jim Dexter and he said he would get in touch with the lumber rep and have him come to our home to look at the beadboard. After repeatedly calling and emailing Mr. Dexter, nothing has happened. Have no idea where the rep is,...certainly didn't come to our home. It has been 3 months and still nothing has happened. I thought Boland Maloney was a reputable company. You sure could not prove it by our experience.

We visited the store and found that it was very difficult to get service. We asked that someone call us. Lee called and stopped by to take measurements. He was very nice and told us that he would have the quote to us the next day. After weeks of calling the store and leaving messages for both Lee and his manager, we finally received a quote. By then, we had gone to another company.
