Boggs Excavating

So far, it is great! The pond is not full yet but it is holding water. Mr. Boggs located underground springs that help fill the pond and showed us where they were. We're just waiting for more rain to see the final result.

They're great. They're very good. They do the old method. No one knows anything about excavating. I was so unsure of him. But, in the end, I was thrilled. I thought he was a little too high though. He was like $10,000. I thought it was going to be $5,000 or $6,000 maybe, but not $10,000. But, it had to be done. So far, my tenant has told me that at times it has rained and/or poured, he could go out and the water is draining. He started on April 21st and ended May 1st. I thought that it was a big job. It included areas of the front yard. The backyard was horrendous. He put special dirt down. I thought it would be real mushy and everything but it wasn't. I could walk on it. The grass came back quickly. The staff was excellent. They got started right away. They were always on time. They started early and quit at about 4 or 4:30. One day, they worked as long as they could because MSD was out there too because we had had snow and the very next day it was like a deluge of rain and it flooded everything. They got rid of the problem. He listened to me and heard me. If I had a question, I'd call him and he would answer the phone.

I called the provider to have him excavate for a retaining wall. He was very nice but said he would need to call me back when he could write, he was driving. He didn't call back so I called him a few days later. He took down my information and said he would try and come out before he left for vacation to give me a bid. He never called or came. I called him again after his vacation and he again took down my information and said he would try and come by that week. He never called and he never came. I gave up!

He try gave me a low price over the phone. I got him to come out to gave me Est. I told some of buds I got before. the we agree on price. Later that night he came out to dig it up. we look for any sign of a sink hole. we did not see any. Then he filled. Over the weekend it rained. The hole reopen then I called him the next dry day he came back with small load of top soil without charge to fill the hole in again. If it reopens again we talk about next plan of action. cost will TBA at later date. if needs more work.

I was very pleased with Mr. Bogg's service. He gave me an instant estimate and was able to start the very next day. He communicated exactly what he was going to do and did just that. The old driveway was in an area that was hard to access--through an opening in the fence. His equipment was small, and he maneuvered it perfectly to access the area without damaging the fence or anything else in the process. He noticed some old pieces of concrete in the back of my property and offered to haul it off, too, while removing the other. He did a fine job of filling, grading the remaining area, and seeding it. He completed the entire job in two half days. He was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient.

When I called Mr. Boggs, he came out that day and looked at my project. He actually had some great ideas, which I decided to go with. He was very professional and friendly and exceeded my expectations with the yard. I used him again when I needed my driveway put in. He came right out and again, knew more about what needed to happen than I did and he did and awesome job. I highly recommend this company.
