They are an excellent company and does an excellent work.

We are very satisfied with the work done. The workmen arrived on time and finished within a reasonable time. They cleaned up all of the branches and left our yard looking very good.

Estimate was provided. I called the arborist who left the estimate to provide another estimate with adjusted details. He assured me he would make it out that Friday or following Monday. I called the website Tuesday and requested the estimate again and mentioned that he must have forgot. I was told he was in training for the next three days and was sent directly to his voicemail to leave a message where I again mentioned that he was supposed to come out but must have forgotten and to please call back to discuss coming out again to do the estimate. I never received another phone call from anyone from the company and therefore chose another tree service.

The tree looks beautiful with its new "do". The guys were very knowledgeable about pin oaks and their habits and tendencies. The price charged matched the price quoted. My only challenge was with communications, especially with the office staff. After waiting week or more after the estimate, I had to contact them to establish a date for the work. When the date came, no one showed up, and I was informed that they meant "week of"...still, they were unable to perform the service the "week of" the stated date and came a week later. The crew showed up a day earlier than appointment which was fine with me. I waited 10 days and still no invoice came. When I called to discover how much the office lady told me it was probably in a review stack waiting for consult with arborist. When I pressed, she finally told me what the amount would be...not a very engaging, service oriented person to have on the other end of the line. I know this is a good company and a great service. I waited several weeks for them to fit me into their schedule because of their reputation. They are worth the wait, and even worth the slight dissatisfaction felt when dealing with communications and scheduling. I would rate the guys in the field with all A's and ;the office staff all C's.

It went very well. It took them a little longer than they had planned but they were very methodical and never rushed. They had all the proper equipment and seemed to follow all the safety procedures. I never feared for the safety the workers or property or anything.

I've used this company twice now. The first time I used them, I picked them because they were one of the best prices and because they always called me back. I like this company and especially like the arborist Adam that came over and gave the estimate. I feel like their prices are reasonable, not always lowest. They are efficient. They show up when they say they will. They return phone calls. They are professional. We have a lot of trees on 5 acres...I am sure that I will need their services again and they will be who I call.

All went well. Bob Ray is a little pricey, but worth the extra cost for the service provided.

They are a professional firm and have the equipment and personnel to do the job right. And they did.

No supervision required - work was done in a day. Site well maintained - am very happy with the results. NOTE- price for the job was almost half of what another Angie's list tree service quoted. These guys are the real deal.

I will use them when I decide to have the work preformed

I have spoken with Laura Lyon many times. She is very knowledgeable and willing to educate me about our trees. She traveled more than an hour one way to look at our young orchard and arranged to have the trees pruned as needed. We have learned a lot from her. Bob Ray Company treats our ash tree annually. Laura has also come to check on that tree when it wasn't looking very healthy. She recommended a second type of treatment for the tree which greatly improved its health by the following year. I will continue to use their services. They are professional and fairly priced in the market.

Very professional and thorough. Crew seemed very experienced and kept us informed as to job progress.

This year, I am scheduled to get the 3rd treatment.

Bob Ray Company has been treating the tree for years and they have always been responsive and professional. I will continue to do business with them in the future.

Checked my weeping willow for disease

We have used Bob Ray for years, but never for tree removal. They came out and gave us an estimate for removing three trees. I knew the estimate was high, but trusted them. The trees were removed several weeks after the bid. When I called to check on a date for removal, the answer was and quot;we are extremely busy.and quot; The trees were removed, but not the stumps. It took over 2 months for them to come back and remove the stumps, even after I made repeated calls to the company. We did not get a bill for over 2 more months. To be honest, I thought they knew they had provided such bad service, they had decided not to charge me! I called the company to complain and ask for a discount due to the delay in tree removal, stump removal and billing. I spoke to Bob Ray who scoffed at my request for an adjustment on the bill.

The first estimate was high, but we scaled down and prioritized what we wanted done, and they came through. We would use them again.

I called for an estimate based on asking Angies List for recommendations re my needs. You gave me a list of three providers and I called for an estimate. Mr. Lampe came out immediately and I described the work I wanted to be done. He gave me an estimate and I told him I pick his business based on recommendations I received from Angies List. The company put me on the list and called me to tell me when they had an opening. The day they came I was working but managed to arrive home just as they had finished. I had the chance to look at the finished product and tell the crew leader how pleased I was.

ARRIVAL WAS PUNCTUAL AND WORK WAS PERFORMED VERY PROFESSIONALLY. DURING THE PERFORMANCE OF WORK, THE ROOF AND FRONT GUTTER OF HOUSE WAS DAMAGED BY A FALLEN LIMB. THE NEGATIVE ASPECT OF THIS ACCIDENT, WAS THAT I HAD TO DISCOVER THIS MYSELF INSTEAD OF BEING TOLD BY THE CREW. HOWEVER, UPON ADVISING BOB RAY OF THIS SITUATION, THE ROOF WAS REPAIRED AND GUTTER REPLACED VERY SATISFACTORILY.

I contacted Bob Ray Co based on their positive reviews on Angie's List. I cannot agree with these positive reviews. I called Bob Ray Co, to inquire about the removal of one or more large trees in my yard. Upon the initial call, I was told that I would get a call back and quot;within 24-48 hrsand quot; to schedule an appointment. I was never contacted. Approximately one week later I contacted Bob Ray Co again. I received an apology, an excuse about why I had not been contacted, and was assured that I would be contacted soon. Yet again, a week, or two, has past and I have not been contacted. I am a new customer, I told them that I have one or two large trees that need to be removed and that I have several other large trees that I'd like ongoing service to maintain. Translation: it's not a small or cheap job. Nonetheless, I can't even get a call back. They may be and quot;the bestand quot;, but if you cant get them to even call you back, then what good is that? UPDATE 10/30/2012: (Grades changed from F to D). I received a call from an arborist that took responsibility for the lack of response to my request of an estimate. I appreciated the call and, since I still need the work done, I went ahead and scheduled an appointment. I will update this review as my experience continues. UPDATE: Grades updated to B. Arborist arrived promptly at scheduled time. He assesed the work and mailed me an estimate within the week. The estimate does seem high, but I've never had this type of work done before, so I could very well be wrong. They seem to be a good company, I suspect that my initial bad experience was aytipical.

It went wonderful. They did a great job. I would recommend them to others.

He is really good. I can get the company to come because they are the bask in the town, so their backlog is amazing. They are expensive, but they are good.

This was the first time I've used them. A friend gave me their name. The trees look better than they ever have. They were great. I will use them again.

They are highly professional. They are experts in what they do. They will provide their customers with the best solution while being economical. They won't waste the customer's money. They did what they said they were going to do and when they said they were going to do it. When I am on a schedule, I am on your schedule. They have a great staff. Everybody in the staff is really good. They are expensive, but the quality is excellent.

They took down two trees and some bush. They were going to take the tree trunk out. They are a big company and they got to the trees pretty quickly. The trunks they had to come back and get, but it took a little bit longer because they were in the middle of a big job. One part was of it was done in January and the rest of it was done early this month or late last month. They were great to work with. They cleaned up their mess when they left. There was a neighbor's tree that was overhanging our yard and a part of it had already come down a couple of years ago and took down our patio and furniture. They also trimmed more that tree and its big branches that were threatening our yard. That was also included in that money. I would use them again.
