Very well. Bob came when he said he would (had to come twice as the bathrom remodel wasn't quite ready for wallpaper). His price was great, he was professonal and there wasn't any kind of mess left.

Despite two Angie's List messages and a phone message this provider never responded to my communications. I waited 2 1/2 weeks and then called someone else. Whatever the reason, this is not professional behavior. It may be that the provide was busy or thought that my job was too small to matter. It doesn't matter. I wouldn't mind if he said it was not a job he wanted to take on, but not responding at all is unprofessional. I was not going to write a review regarding my experience but was encouraged by an Angie's List representative to do so.

Bob was very professional and courteous. He did a fabulous job with the wallpaper and I would definitely call him again!

Very professional, on time, cleaned up after himself, and touched up spots we noticed where the paint didn't appear to cover in one coat. Gave us a reasonable estimate and was able to perform the work right away. We provided the wallpaper and paint. Would definitely hire him again. The only issue was the staff person who performed the installation of the base moulding; he did not make a very professional cut around the register.

I was under a time constraint to get this done and Bob was very attentive to this need. He came out within 4 days to get this done for me. He was punctual and professional. He used proper covering for my newly installed bathroom floor, did the work in a timely fashion, made sure I was satisfied, and cleaned up after completion. I would most definately use him again.

The work looks great and the price was more than fair.

Went ok, but some of the mural was fudged because of a mistake.

When I had the work done, Bob had just had surgery on his shoulder and wasn't able to do much. In the beginning, Mike did most of the work. By the end of the job, Bob was able to come in and help. They painted my kitchen, including cabinets, walls and ceiling. Even though I gave this company A's across the board, I have mixed feelings about some things. Really everything was going fine until the last day. About 15 minutes before the end of the job, Bob left, leaving his other painter, Mike, to finish up. That's ok, except Bob was leaving without saying a word. I thought he was going out for a smoke, but he said he had to leave. Ok. But what about payment? He hadn't given me a price for the paint he bought. He didn't give me a final bill, and after he told Mike, and Mike told me, I had to add up the bill and I gave the check to Mike. I think what threw me off the most was that no one said 'thanks', or 'call me anytime you need any painting done', or anything like that. Bob left without a word, and when Mike was done, he did as well. I just found that to be very strange.

They painted my bedroom and kitchen and did wall covering on one wall. I was very satisfied with their work. I rate them fairly and I would use them again in the future is needed.

The job went fantastic. My husband and I decided at the last minute that we wanted the master bedroom and a guest bedroom painted before we moved into our new home. However, we only had about three days between closing and moving in. Bob managed to get in and paint the two rooms the day before we moved and the result brought tears to my eyes! We were VERY pleased. We're planning to use Bob's services again!!!! I would also like to add that Bob was referred by a friend. After seeing the wonderful painting in our friend's condo - there was no question we wanted Bob to do the same for us!

The company arrived on time to give an estimate. The company did the work as outlined in the proposal and the work done was excellent.

Bob McDonald is an honest, hard-working, competent, and patient tradesman. His prices were extremely reasonable and as we wavered back and forth with colors and wall treatments, Bob advised and rolled with our confusion and mistakes. Bob was forced to paint one bathroom four times before we decided that we liked the color! He remianed steadfast and never was shocked by our indecision. We always felt comfortable leaving Bob in the house by himself and he was even able to handle our neurotic dog. I would never hire any other painter. He will be back when we finally complete our master bathroom.

Bob was professional and punctual. The work was done well and we did not have to have him back for any further repairs or touch-up.

I won't be going back or giving him another call. He was trying to balance outside jobs and inside jobs. He wanted to do my work on rainy days and work on outside jobs on sunny days. He stripped the wallpaper in my upstairs bathroom and then he left the job for two weeks and left a light fixture dangling from the wall. We didn't have any rain here almost all summer so he didn't come work. He was what my father would have called a "lazy teacher." He didn't take the door knobs off the doors when he painted, and just painted around them. He also did a sloppy job of papering the switch plates, they don't match the pattern of the wall paper on the wall. I thought his price was good, but I would recommend others go to someone else.

He was prompt with his estimate. His estimates were very good. He arrived on time and did a good job in painting. The only problem with him was that he would come at 8 o?clock in the morning, but would leave by 1 o?clock to pick up his daughter. He would come back only the next morning.

HE DID ALL THE WORK HIMSELF AS HIS HELPER WAS ILL SO IT TOOK A LITTLE LONGER THAN EXPECTED QUALITY WORK AT THE RIGHT PRICE, I WILL HIRE ACAIN

Bob came to the house upon our request and submitted a bid in writing. His bid was for the work only. We paid for the paint. We called in and paid for the paint and he picked it up. It seemed important to him that we like the work done. He completed the project as promised and did some extra things that we mentioned. He and his assistant were very polite, hard-working, considerate and efficient. They had a method of painting ceilings then woodwork and then walls, and it worked. This was by far my best experience in purchasing this kind of service from start to finish.

Bob returned the call quickly and fit us in his schedule VERY quickly. I was prepared to wait about a month and a half and he called in 3 days and said he could fit us in. I didn't even have our colors picked out so he went ahead and started on the ceilings and prime work. He was always very prompt each morning and would call the night before if he had any questions (as far as if he needed to pick up more paint, or if he was going to be late, etc). He stayed on the project until it was finished which was so nice and ended up having to come back and finish up some areas that we had to wait on due to electrical work that was being done. He also would touch up any spots that we asked him to. I even changed my mind on the type of paint we used and he was willing to work with me on that to make sure I was happy. I left him at home alone and he always locked up and never left messes.

I DIDN'T HAVE TO BE AT HOME WHEN HE PAINTED AND I HAVE A LITTLE DOG. I TRUSTED HIM IN THE HOME. HE DID A FINE JOB, DIDN'T MAKE A MESS. I THOUGHT THE PRICING WAS EXCELLENT. THE PRICE HE GAVE ME WAS WHAT I EXPECTED TO PAY TO HAVE JUST THE GREAT ROOM PAINTED.
