Description of Work: I have been working with Amy Cimba for the past 18 months and she has been wonderful. She quickly picked up on the style I was going for and has helped me update my entire house taking it from its original 1980 's style (everything was pink/mauve and blue) to stylish, modern and fabulous ! She has assisted with simple things such as paint colors and furniture placement, to picking out new furniture pieces and artwork and most recently provided design services for an extensive re-model of kitchen and master bathroom. She has been very good about using furniture and artwork that wanted to keep (took pictures of all my furniture before I moved into this house and figured out where everything should be placed PRIOR to the move so everything fell into into place when moving company unloaded the truck) and has been attentive to my budget. With Bittners, you can order custom furniture but also try out items in their showroom - they deliver it and let you " live with it" for a few days and if it doesn't work, they pick it up and take it back to the showroom. I have never felt pressured to purchase items. The service at Bittners is very professional, receipts are provided for each item purchased, the items have arrived promptly and Amy is readily available for questions. We spent a great deal of time together shopping for tile, granite, cabinets, light fixtures etc for the re-model and she is very down to earth and approachable and has been practical with regard to my daily living realities ( children, pets, etc) . If she spots an item when on her buying trips that she thinks is perfect for my house, she snaps a picture of it and sends it immediately. She has resources for everything such as painters, wallpaper hangers, cabinet designers, electricians and landscapers, etc. Designer services may seem extravagant/expensive, but I feel it has been worth every penny as she has helped me avoid mistakes in furniture purchases ( can't tell you the number of times I have ordered things from catalogs and a few years later decided its not the right scale, style or color. I have been extremely happy with Bittners and Amy Cimba, would not hesitate to recommend to a friend and continue to work with her on other projects around my house.
