Best Choice heating an air llc

I spoke with a number of HVAC contractors and obtained around four estimates. Eddie Ray of Best Choice Heating & Air was the most down to earth and practical one of the bunch. He was recommended to us by a friend. Eddie's price was the lowest and he worked with us on getting the most efficient unit we could afford. He was very patient in explaining everything and answering questions. Once we made the decision to have him do the work it was done within a week. Fortunately we were just replacing an old unit so we were not in a rush but it was nice to have the job done quickly. On the day work was to begin Eddie and two of his employees arrived on time and promptly began work. As promised they had enough of the work done so that we had heat that evening when we came home from work. They completed the installation the next day and everything worked and looked great. Due to the cold weather they were not able to complete the set up of the air conditioning system. Once the warm weather begins we'll call them to come by and finish that piece of the job. Eddie came by after the work was complete and reviewed everything that had been done and answered all of our questions. We are extremely satisfied with the work and the personalized service. All this being said if you use Eddie you should realize that he doesn't have a big organization nor does he have office staff. He's the owner who also works doing installations and repairs. If you call him he may be in the middle of a job and not answer and you may need to try him a couple of times. Otherwise he is prompt, courteous and personable. We highly recommend him and his staff.

In the last 3 months, while trying to fix a series of HVAC problems, I've had experience with 3 different HVAC companies. I finally found Eddie Rey of Best Choice Heating and Air. He is prompt, professional, and friendly, and his rates are cheaper than the other companies. At the end of June he replaced the condensation pump in the upstairs A/C. This involved clambering about in a filthy, boiling hot, unfinished attic, but he was cheerful throughout. Worth noting - many repair people assume women are uninterested in, or cannot comprehend, the repairs they are doing. Eddie made no such assumptions, let me watch over his shoulder the whole time, and explained what he was doing. Yesterday it looked like the new pump had failed. It turns out the problem was due to how the A/C was originally installed (years ago, by a completely different company), and was not a problem with the new pump. However as soon as he heard there might be a problem with work that he'd done Eddie was here with in 24 hours. He stands by his work and believes in customer satisfaction. He is now my go-to guy for any HVAC repair. I highly recommend him.
