For the future Ball Homes owners….don’t go with this company! I’ll keep it short and to the point; cheap materials, cheap labor, cheap results! If you are looking for good finishing touches and detail work, this is not your home - not your construction company! We were a few hours prior to closing and I expressed my concerns over a few details and finishes that showed cracks, dents, and needed painting or fixed. The rep for Ball Homes got upset and said that I don’t look happy with the result so I should not buy this house! She was right, I should have walked away and bought a better built house from another company! Ball Homes is not a reliable, not a trustworthy source for people to build their long term houses. Daily, I am afraid of who knows what problem I’ll discover in the house that I’ll have to get another handyman to fix it.

I am the second owner of this house, which was built in 2006. I was having a home re-modeler (separate company) build and install some shelving units into a bedroom. We were having difficulty locating a stud and ended up using 4 different stud finders. Studs should be about 16 inches apart, but we were finding that mine were anywhere from 2-4 feet apart. This is not safe. After my home re-modeler did a little more investigating he came to the conclusion this home did not contain nearly enough wood that it should. This home was built wrong and another problem because of that is the heat and cold air is not evenly distributed. Another issue I have discovered is the crown molding along the bottom of the steps will come apart from the wall and was not properly installed. I can quote from the home re-modeler that this home was built incorrectly and costing me money.

This is my 3rd house from the same company, need I say more.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY. THEY WERE RESPONSIVE, PROMPT AND THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY WERE ON TIME TO WORK AS PROMISED. THEIR PRICING POLICY WE THOUGHT WAS VERY FAIR. WE HAD ONE MINOR ISSUE THAT WAS QUICKLY AND VERY EASILY RESOLVED. THEIR PROFESSIONALISM WAS GREAT.

THE SERVICE WAS QUICK AND EASY. THE INSPECTORS WERE POLITE AND QUICK. THEY WENT AND CHECKED THROUGH EVERY POINT OF OUR HOUSE AND YARD. THEY WERE VERY GOOD. THEY HAD A VERY LONG LIST AND MADE SURE THEY CHECKED OFF EVERYTHING THAT WAS GOOD AND WHAT NEEDED TO BE FIXED.

I RATED THEM HIGHLY BECAUSE OF THEIR RESPONSIVENESS. THEY ARE REALLY GOOD AT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY WERE VERY FAST AND NICE. THE WORK CAME OUT AS EXPECTED.

THEY PROVIDED EXCELLENT SERVICE. EVERYBODY WAS VERY NICE. I LIKED THEM COMING IN AND SHOWING US HOW TO TURN ON THE HOT WATER HEATER AND THE FURNACE WAS VERY NICE OF THEM.

I DIDN'T SEE A PROBLEM WITH THEM EXCEPT PICKING UP MATERIALS THEY LEFT WHEN DONE. THEY ALWAYS LEFT ON TIME, AND IT TOOK THEM ABOUT A MONTH TO FINISH THE HOUSE. AFTER THEY LEFT, I HAD TROUBLE WITH A STAIRWELL, AND IT TOOK THEM A LONG-TIME TO COME BACK TO FIX IT. WE HAVE HAD NO OTHER PROBLEMS.
