We have a pretty old furnace and when we turned it on for the first time it wasn't warming like it should. We called another HVAC company who came out and told us we needed a new furnace. NOT what I wanted to hear a few months before Christmas. We decided on a second opinion and called Automatic Air. They charged us $325 for a complete cleaning and had to replace a few parts. It's running perfect now. The technician was nice and knowledgeable and I did not feel like he was trying to take advantage of me at all, he assured us that the unit was fine, just needed a little upkeep and did recommend an annual tune-up. When the time comes that we do need a new furnace I'll be calling Automatic Air first.

My AC unit went out overnight (on the hottest night of the year). I called Automatic Air first thing in the morning and they indicated they could have a tech out some time after 11am. Tech arrived around noon and immediately went to work. Within a half hour, he let me know that he was finished and the issue was a burnt wire connecting the compressor. We had a discussion about the age and ongoing viability of my unit. I have used Automatic Air for a few years now and absolutely love their service and price. Every tech I have met has been honest and personable. I'm sure there are cheaper HVAC businesses, but I feel I receive and excellent value for what I pay. Will absolutely continue to use them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The contractor that put the original air conditioning unit never got it to work right. IF the temp got above 90, the temperature in the house would rise to above 80 degrees. The original unit was only 8 years old, but since it was builders grade and never worked right, we elected to replace it with an energy efficient heat pump. Ronny came over quickly to view our home setup, to see what we needed. He measured ducting runs, sizes, and calculated how much air would need to flow. No other company had ever done that before. I had a 3.5 ton unit, and he figured we needed a 4.5 ton, but I went with a Trane 5 ton to play it safe. He also informed me of energy rebates an tax credits we were eligible for. There price was very competitive, and came in over $5,000 lower than another company. It now has no problem cooling the house, and I can't wait to see the energy saving on my first electric bill after the install. I highly recommend Automatic Air!
