Exceptional service. Very polite, professional and took his time ensuring we had the information we needed. Our furnace will need to be replaced (we knew this was coming but looking to buy some time through the holidays. They were focused on safety, economics and quality, not just selling us a new furnace at top dollar. We will definitely consider them as we decide on the replacement in a few weeks.

I called due to a furnace issue. The CSR and Ruth were both courteous and friendly on the phone. Ronny was extremely professional neat , and courteous. He diagnosed and repaired the issue in minimal time, performed an inspection, and recommended/showed me a few things. Signed up for the Angie's List inspection package as well. Pricing is equitable with great service--diagnostics, repair, filter, and twice -yearly inspection package. Thank you Ronny W. for a job well done as well as your professionalism!!! Will use Allgeier Air in the future.

Allgeier Air installed a complete HVAC split system with Trane equipment.. Rick Allgier and his company performed a complicated installation using a combination of talented field installers and office people that completed the project on time and within budget with no inconvenience to us. We would highly recomen his company to anyone continplating doing any new or renovation heating or cooling work. Allgeier Air is a 5 star company and goes beyond the normal to satisfy the customer.

My whole experience with Allgeier Air has been really terrific; not only did one of their representatives come to my house on a Sunday to try to start my furnace without charging extra, but the company's sales rep was kind, patient, and thoughtful of my needs and finances--because of the weather, I was promised next day service. Andy and Pat arrived when promised and worked diligently all day to install both an air conditioner and a furnace. Because Allgeier came to my aid so quickly, it turned out that the furnace I purchased wasn't in stock--but rather than make me wait while one was ordered and delivered--Allgeier used a furnace that was in stock even though it was more expensive than the one I originally purchased. They did not have to do that, but I'm glad and appreciative that they did. Talk about coming through on promises made! Allgeier has a great guarantee and a very reasonable financing program; when Andy and Pat left me with a warm house, I felt that I had been treated fairly and honestly. Allgeier Air is well worth the cost.

So far my experience has been wonderful! I called for help yesterday, 11/1/2014 when my furnace wouldn't start--even though a friend tried to light the pilot light. I checked Angie's list and decided to call Allgeier Air because of their "A" rating and because they advertise week-end hours. I talked to a real human being who promised a technician would call me as soon as possible. Less than two minutes later there he was! We talked extensively about pricing. I was worried about having to pay extra for a weekend call--I mean I was already bundled up and sitting in front of a space heater--so I decided I could wait until Monday. Not only did the Allgeier Air representative talk to me about ways to save money, but he called me back and offered to come today, 11/2/2014 rather than Monday because he was worried about me being cold!!! I was amazed! Not only did he show up as promised, he called to let me know he would be late because of an earlier call. Ronnie was polite and informative; and he did exactly what he promised he would do without charging me an arm and a leg to do it. I was very pleased.

I scheduled the service several weeks ago and made it clear that I was taking off of work and I needed to have him service my units as early as possible. The receptionist said that I would be first on the list, but she failed to tell me that they meet on Mondays and the person would not arrive until after 10 am. I called at 8:30 am thinking that he was supposed to arrive around 8 am only to find out about this scheduled meeting on Mondays. She said he would get there around 10 am but I needed to leave by noon. Anyway, he arrived shortly after 10 and I was able to leave at 11:30 am. The service man was excellent and very professional. I was upset because I had to take off all morning, but I found them to be very professional and I would use them again.

eThe technician arrived late due to traffic issues but cannot be blamed for that. He was very thorough with the check, cleaned contacts to make sure the furnace would fire correctly (possible carbon build-up on contacts), Cleaned the inside of the furnace (where the gas flames come out) and made sure the furnace would work correctly. Then he performed a temperature check to verify the differential between the plenum and the return air to be sure it was within the correct range. I was impressed with his professionalism and will have him come out again to perform the same check on the AC when we are closer to spring. He was very nice and took time to answer all my questions so I would understand the process and the expected result.

The company provided a rep to come out that same day I called (my AC was out and it was over 90 degrees out). The rep was on time and fully evaluated the situation. He provided me alternatives. He was able to charge my AC that same day to get my house cool by nightfall. I appreciate the prompt response, the diagnostics and explanation and his willingness to repair that day even though it was just an evaluation appointment. I would use them again.

The day of the tune up they called and asked if they could push me back. To me, not good as a new customer. They came out, checked my air conditioners and recommended a repair, but also said it wasn't urgent and probably would last the summer. The next morning there was no cold air. When they came back out it turns out there was a connection that was not connected from the previous day. Then about a week or so later, there was no cold air again. The tech I spoke with essentially did everything in his power to not have to come out on a Sunday. I waited until Monday and called and was told I would get a call back in about half an hour. An hour later I called to find out when they were coming to repair my unit. It was in the high 80's that day and I work at home. After a discussion with the dispatch coordinator indicating my displeasure with the customer service thus far, she asked for a chance to make it right. Within a couple hours my unit was fixed. My comment is this: they made it right, but my jury is still out until the furnace tune-ups in the fall.

Air conditioner was pumping warm air. I called a few companies and Allgeier air had the earliest available appointment. Technician arrived on time and found the problem within a few minutes. He replaced the part and serviced the coolant and I was up and running. Very happy with the technician they sent, seemed very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

We had a few little issues with the installation and I complained and their attitude was we will do whatever it is necessary to please you and they solve our problem. They are very prompt. The come when they say there are going to come. The have been very nice and very accommodating. This year they came out to do the routine inspection on the air condition system before the season started and found that there were issues and the air conditioner was something like 18 years old and there comes the questions as how much money your going to dump into and old system so we replaced that plus I am not sure I will never know if it was a 100% necessary that they kind of recommended it. We replaced the gas furnace which was 8 years old that was a big deal for them. They were very prompt, very courteous; willing to do whatever it was to please. The first time they installed a mini split which a type of heat pump. The neat thing about it is that you don’t have to do duct work on it. It was to augment the heat in the air conditioning in our bedroom. I like them. We used them on two occasions. One thing I like is when we call them to do routine work they were prompt. I called another service provider that we liked very much too but because I was not a member of their little kind of a service club that I would have to wait like 6 weeks for them to come out and then so I said forget it and I called Allgeier and they were right in a couple of days and it was the first time that ever dealt with them so rather than waiting 6 weeks i got prompt service. I did not have to join their service club although later on we did this last time. They quoted their bid. There were no hidden charges or ugliest of prices and what amounted to a small issue but it big for me at that time. I had to deal with the drainage of the mini split across the patio. They came out and installed additional piping to get it off to make sure it was not running off the patio. They are expensive. I do not feel like I got a bargain. I got what I paid for. Good quality. The furnace that they just installed we have not used it as yet and the air conditioner I turned on yesterday for the first time and I can tell you that it came on its running and the house is cool.

My heat pump was underperforming. We had a different HVAC company out, who replaced a part that may or may not have been broken, and blamed my Nest thermostat, which he clearly had no experience with. When the $700 I spent with them did not fix the problem, I tried Allgeier. It took a couple trips, but a leak in a coil was diagnosed. I should note I was only billed once for diagnosing the issue, even though it took a couple trips. The repair quote was ~ $2K. I got a couple additional quotes on the repair too. They were all in the same range. Given the age of my system and the fact that it was undersized for my house, I decided to go ahead and just replace the whole thing. I got quotes from 5 local companies. Allgeier was the least expensive for the level of equipment I wanted by about $450. We set up an install date for a couple days later. They came out on time; they were professional; and they finished the job in a work day. (This was a split system install, involving a new outdoor unit and a new indoor air handler). It's three months later, the weather is getting hot, and our house feels the best it ever has in the 5 years I've lived there.

They had a special and good ratings and that's why I chose them. They were very professional.

We contacted Allgeier after another company cancelled on us the day the service was to be performed. They not only squeezed us in so that we were able to close on the property on the date we were supposed to, but their technicians used the lock box on the house so we didn't have to meet them there. Ruth at the company was so accommodating and professional. She also sent us everything we needed for the closing by email. Thank you so much!!

Heads up,the annual membership does not include servicing your unit with freon. This is considered a repair not a service "tune-up". Other than that great customer service and knowledgeable. The ability to be able to call and have priority service is very nice. Just keep in mind the play on words servicing your unit "tune-up" does not include servicing the unit with freon.

The appointment was scheduled promptly and the technician arrived on time. The heat pump was inspected and the technician provided some additional tips on improving the efficiency of the heating system. I was very satisfied with the service.

My heater went out this winter and I had another heating and air company come in to "clean our heater" they did not actually clean our heater and we had more problems after the service. We contacted Allgeier Air for a quote, they actually cleaned our heater, determined the part on my heater that was broken, fixed my heater and checked in regularly to see if the heater was working. They did an AMAZING job and had great customer service. I was so impressed I immediately signed up for the regular service package. They are a great company and I will definitely be using them again.

Annual fall service checkup for a recently installed residential heat pump and furnace. After replacing a twenty year old system the decision was made to maximize and maintain the new system. This may be questionable since the system is new but,for piece of mind I will have spring and fall checkups. Probably not a bad idea for us seniors or anyone else for that matter even if you do your own. Saving a few dollars throughout the year allows me to purchase the service ahead of time saving a couple more dollars. DON'T FORGET YOUR COUPONS! The office will work to accommodate scheduling that fits your needs. The shop notified me that the service tech was on his way and he arrived not long afterwards. He performed the checkup on both the inside and outside units and the system checked out OK as expected because of it's age .... but you never can tell. Technician was courteous and helpful in answering a few of my questions. At the present time I plan on using Allgeier Air for my HVAC problems and would recommend them to others.

Installed new furnace and air conditioner

Most importantly: Mark got our heat working quickly. In addition, he explained in the perfect level of detail how my system works, how to maintain it, and key things to look for: 1) We have a fairly complicated unit: a "boiler" heats water to 160 degrees, and sends it to radiators throughout the house. It also pumps hot water to the HVAC, which warms the air that is pushed through the house 2) The boiler needs to stay about 30 PSI. If it drops lower give them a call. 3) Gave a pretty thorough history of how radiant heat evolved through the years. This was important, because our house has been through many of those evolutions. 4) With our type of radiators, you do NOT need to bleed them. You should bleed them if they feel cold, or aren't getting as warm as they should, otherwise you should leave them alone. All in all, he was excellent, diagnosed the issue quickly, and had impressively thorough knowledge about all kinds of heating units and options. We will be asking for him by NAME if we ever have another issue.

Outstanding....on an annual check the furnace was found to be in deep trouble and dangerous...heat exchanger was cracked. Mr Allgeier checked over the program that was suggested by his rep and made some important changes. The install was in the attic and very difficult. Larry and Adam worked their hearts out for 17 hours over 2 days to make it a perfect job. The financing was set up for us, and a follow up yesterday found a small problem that had been missed. Wonderful company with great staff. When you spend this kind of money....it better be good...and it was.

I had to call them out in 11/03 because the furnace was not working. 1/04 found that the switch was not working. In 12/05 lost pressure in unit . 1/3/06still loosing pressure. Replace coil . Replace mother board. 1/6/06replace thermostat and fill Freon. 1/10/06 replace thermistor. 6/07freon. 12/09 clean and check. 2/11 they came out and could find any fault. Fault light keeps coming on.3/11 System light keeps coming on 12/11clean and service. 5/12 not cooling properly. I would have to pay $500. Utility bills for the month of Jan. and Feb. They have replace every part in this unit over the pass 10 years of warranty. The only way you can get them to come out pronto is to take out their service plans. I have servicemen come out and do absolutely nothing, and still have the same problems and have to call them back and wait for them to come back out. Meanwhile I was running on emergency heat the whole time. They have replace every part on this furnace. The last thing that I replace was a thermostat that cost me $590. When I got tire of them not fixing the problem and the warranty was running out they decided that I needed a new furnace. When I let them come out to size it, they were going to put the same size in but it was supposed to be a better product now. I call in another furnace man in and he said that I had to much flow in my loops. And since at the time it was still under warranty by 3 months, he said that he was going to have to put a part on that would slow the water flow down, but since it was under warranty that he was going to have to get the part from Rick Allgeier since he save money by handling the warranty instead letting water furnace handle it. Well, you can tell I did not get the part. In return I took back seasonal cleaning package and I will never use them again. It is Jan. 2014. My $590.00 Thermostat that they put in and charge was not install properly. It was not allowing my back up heat strips to come on. I call Allgeier and was told that I had to wait a day because I didn't have the premier account (that is the account that you pay $240. To have them come out twice a year to have them service the geothermal) so I have to wait until the next day. I immediately called another heating and air company that deals with Geothermal they came right out within an hour, and they told me that they left off the jumper wire that turns on the back up heat when the temperatures got too low. It cost me for the service and 2 hours to go over my furnace to make sure everything was working all right. I would not have had this problem if it was install right to begin with.Remember I paid $590. for this thermostat that was going to fixed all of my problems. Ha! I hope that no one else will ever experience this. Remember they are the ones that put this furnace in to begin with. They like to make excuses and blame the Water furnace for the problems, but they were the ones that recommended this furnace to begin with. The Water Furnace was supposed to be the best Geothermal unit out there. Now they claim that this unit is bad and there way to fix the problem is to buy another Water Furnace unit (newer and better) version. I am done, done, done with this company.
