My AC unit was not cooling our condo. The technician arrived on time and quickly diagnosed that I had a blown capacitor. He had a replacement part in his van and was able to complete the repair in 15 minutes. I was pleased with his professionalism and would not hesitate to use Allgeier in the future

Scheduling was easy, prompt and polite. The tech called morning of to say he could be a little early if that worked. It did, and I heard from him 15 out so that I was ready. He introduced himself, shook my hand, slipped on protective shoe covers and asked if he could come in. After hearing all my concerns, he started at the furnace and worked outward checking thermostat controls, all my vents, ran over my wiring and blower motor, popped off vent covers to make sure I had no moisture or obvious issues throughout the house. He gave me three recommendations that were free, two that were cheap for me to do, and an expensive one that he recommended not doing until I did the other ones to determine what could help smooth out my heating and cooling, added an extra piece of tape to my wires to get them secure and out of the way, and was on his way. Great experience and I plan to get on a contract with them in the spring for my AC service and fall cleanings from here on out. if something goes wrong, I would use them for repairs both because of my positive experience with the tech, but also because of the professionalism of the office. After having some terrible experiences with appliances and contractors this last week, it reminded me that I really appreciate when a place gets it right, and Allgeier got it right. I recommend.

Central Air quit working, I went through Angie's List to look at reviews They had a deal on Angie's list for a diagnosis service for just $39. based on their Positive reviews we went with them. They were here the very next day. At first the Tech thought it might be the compressor, however he was getting sporadic readings. He was able to determine that we had a bad breaker that needed replaced. He agreed to come back after we had that fixed at no extra charge to completely diagnose our system. We got it done, He came back and didn't try to sell us anything. It was good to work with a company who cares about their customers.

It went great. The technician was very helpful and very quick. We had our AC running in no time!

I have called this provider to come out now on three different occasions and see why first my air conditioner wasn't working, and then my heat. (The Angie's List $39.99 diag test with them is a great deal !) The company has always been very friendly and helpful all the way down from answering the phone to the service techs who came out to my house. They are knowledgeable, time efficient, and best of all cost effective. They will not replace something that doesn't need it. I really think the last tech that came out finally did fix our issues once and for all (Frank, maybe?) As a prior owner of his own company, he definitely knew about our system. After some "tweaking" and explaining a few things we needed to do, we have had no problems since. It's been 6months. If any issues ever do arise in the future, I know who we're calling.

A painful experience was made as painless as possible by the team at Allgeier Air. We returned from vacation last week to find no cool air. We called Allgeier around 6:30 pm on Thursday night, and a technician was in our driveway about an hour later. Our 14 year old unit had experienced a "catastrophic failure" (translation: it will cost almost as much to fix it as the price of a new unit). After doing some research online to get comfortable with this very expensive decision, we placed an order on Friday with the very knowledgeable Ron Neal. We were given an install date of Wednesday. To keep us going in the meantime, Allgeier brought over two loaner window units on Friday as well. That was an unexpected and very welcome surprise. The scheduler called on Monday to let us know an appointment had opened up today (Tuesday). The installer (along with one or two other people at various times) arrived promptly at 9am and completed the installation. They wore shoe covers in the house, put coverings on the stairs and carpets, and left all areas clean and free of debris. We are enjoying our cool house and looking forward to lower electric bills due to the higher efficiency of the new unit.

I noticed on Friday evening July 3rd that my HVAC system stopped blowing air throughout my house. I called Allgeier air the next morning to have a service technician come out to my house to look at my system. The owner of the company, Mr. Allgeier was the one who came out and he spent quite a bit of time testing things and running a thorough diagnostic. He told me what was wrong with my system as well as what to do if it messed up prior to them coming back to fix things. They called me Monday July 6th to tell me when they would be out to fix things. They came out that Wednesday to start on the job and were supposed to finish it on Friday July 10th. However I received a call on Friday letting me know the part didn't make it in but that they would be out to my house on Monday July 13th. I started having issues again with my system this past weekend and was very pleasantly surprised when I came home from work today (Monday July 13th) and not only was my HVAC system blowing, but it was blowing cold air. I can not sing their praises enough. This is the second time I have used them and I will make sure I tell everyone I know about my experience and refer everyone who asks me to them for service. They are top notch in my book and the deserve all the thanks in the world.

The work turned out great. It was immediate. There were no extra charges. I would use them in the future.

He told me since the system was 14 years old that it would be best to replace it. They could add freon, but it would be the old style freon, not the kind they that is used today, and it might not last long. Before I consented to that, I got another opinion. A different company thought the leak was not that bad and that we could extend the life of the unit for many years to come by using stopleak and adding some freon. I decided to go with their opinion. Only time will tell which one is right. I didn't knock off any grades for Allgeier's conclusion we needed to replace the unit. I think they gave me their best judgment. I put "N/A" for quality of work, because they didn't actually change anything. They just opened things and looked inside.

We purchased an Angie's list deal for HVAC diagnostics. It was easy to schedule a time with them via Angie's list. They called 30 minutes before arriving, which is very much appreciated! They were professional and did a thorough inspection. Our system however is busted and so we now have an appointment later this week with their designer for a whole new system. We were told the $39 paid for the diagnostics would be applied to that purchase.

The six guys that were here did a great job and addressed the various issues we had. We do recommend these guys and the attention to detail that they give. A+

I called Allgeier in the evening after getting home from work and noticing that the blower was running but the house was several degrees warmer than what the thermostat is set to. The service representative I spoke with paged one of their technicians (Ronnie) who contacted me within a few mintues. We talked through the problem over the phone as he had me check 3 or 4 things inside and outside the house. Based on what I told him he suspected it was a blown capacitor in the condenser. He was still out performing several service calls that evening and didn't have the necessary part to perform the repair so he asked if it would be ok if he got the part he needed and came out between 6AM and 7AM the following morning. I think he would have tried to make the repair later that night if we would have needed him to but it was already after 7:30PM so I told him the next morning was fine. The next monring he called at 6:30AM and was out to the house by 6:50AM. It was a blown capacitor as he anticipated and the repair was complete within 15 minutes. The customer service received during this process was very good.

Called yesterday, a Saturday, as our A/C floated up to 80 from our normal 72. The lady who returned my call asked some basic troubleshooting questions first before calling a tech (did I change the filter, did I see any frozen connections?). I received a call back and scheduled an appointment for the next day, Sunday at 11 AM (with an expected high temp of 90!). The tech called us about 10 AM (early!), came out and diagnosed the problem, finding a bad capacitor. He replaced it and cleaned the coils. He also checked the pressure. All of this took about 30 minutes for the price listed above. All in all, less than 24 hours after discovering the problem, the A/C was fixed on a weekend. Definitely use the Angie's List coupon, as the diagnostic fee was higher than some other companies. But, the service was great, and on a weekend to boot! We're very happy with another great Angie's list find!

My air conditioner went out Saturday night, I called Allgeier on Sunday and someone answered. Said they could be out that night, but since nights were still cool, I waited until Monday, Memorial day. The owner himself came out to diagnose the problem because he was giving holiday time off to his employees. My unit is pretty old, but he just needed to replace the thermostat. The honesty and not trying to sell me something I did not need went a long way towards my respect for the companies integrity. My heat and A/C units will have to be replaced eventually and I will be calling this company to do the job.

Fair pricing. Arrived in timely fashion. Performed all work efficiently and professionally. Details prior to install provided by knowledgable staff. Will continue to use for seasonal service.

Air conditioner went out Saturday night before Mother's Day. Called Allgeier Sunday morning not really expecting to get someone out that day. Ended up speaking to owner, Rick, who showed up by noon and repaired the air conditioner. He was prompt, knowledgeable and very service oriented. He solved and repaired the problem quickly. Not only will I use him again, I joined their club for twice annual service to keep the units maintained.

I called Saturday 4/18/15 and tried to get an estimate for services based on what another HVAC service provider told me needed to be done. The person who answered the phone said they would come do a free second opinion and scheduled it for today (4/21/15) in the evening after I got off work. When the service tech arrived he asked me what the problem was and I showed him what the other company stated needed to be done. After doing a double check on my heat pump A/C system it was found that I had a loose valve (which the tech tightened) and that the unit needed a little bit of refrigerant. The original estimate was for over $2200 worth of work, however Allgeier Air saved me tons of money. The tech was took the time to show me the pressure gauge (the previous company didn't seem to be interested in helping me understand what I needed) and he made sure the system was properly charged. I will difinately be using Allgeier Air for any needs I have in the future.

Our problem started the week of February 26,2015 during the 0 degree cold spell. Our unit was blowing 5 amp fuses on the inside unit. Friend of family came out and informed us that our problem was at the outside unit but was not able to fix it because of his schedule. We called Allgeier the next morning and the receptionist was very understanding with our problem and had a tech out that afternoon. As it always works out, while the tech. was there, the unit would not blow a fuse. If it wasn't for all the blown fuses on the table, my allegations would probably be questioned. I explained to the tech what my friend had stated and after checking the unit, he agreed. He stated that he couldn't fix the problem because of snow built up around the unit and would have to come back when the snow was gone. I didn't question the tech about coming back because the unit kept running while he was there and I thought that maybe he got lucky and found a wire that was grounding out. That night, the unit started blowing fuses to the point that we had to go to emergency heat. To make a long story short, I called the next morning early and explained what had happen and they had another tech out right away. He worked on the unit despite the snow, ice and cold that was a problem the day before and had us heat within an hour and a half. Bottom line. I am very satisfied and give a A+ to this company. They got help out to the house asap and the way the receptionist worked with us on getting another tech out to us on the 2nd day. The tech even called the day after to make sure everything was running good.

Matt Rivard is an amazing troubleshooter for determining what the problem was. We had another company come and they couldn't figure it out, but Matt spent his patient time methodically eliminating possibilities. He figured it out and it has worked perfectly since!

It was great. They promptly came twice, once to assess the furnace and the other to replace it.
