i called company because the heating part of myheat pump system wasn't working properly. the 1st tech who came out found a leak in the coil and recommened repairs. repairs were made but the orginal problem was still there.i called the office for help. the next day they send out a senior service tech to review the work done and determine additional repairs needed. he explained why the repairs already made were nessasary and the additional repairs needed to finish the job. he did those repairs at no cost to me and now the heating and cooling system works perfectly. the owner of the company came to our home to be sure we were satisfied with their resolution of our problem.

Service person was very polite. Arrived on time and fixed the gas clothes dryer. He even showed my husband what he did so my husband can probably fix it himself it it happens again.

The service tech was very polite and examined both of my appliances. He suggested that I should replace my system for more cost efficiency with my heating and cooling bills. When I told him that it wasn't financially something we could do right now he did not push or lose interest, he was very professional and polite.

Did routine service per agreement. Replaced flue pipe which had been installer incorrectly 2 years ago prior to our purchase of thevhouse? We were not charged for this correction.

It went very well. I called the company to set up a service time. We scheduled a time for the service to be performed (within about a week). The HVAC tech was on time and polite. He let us know how our furnace was performing and gave us a list of all of the diagnostics that he ran along with the results. I am very pleased with the overall service.

The serviceman arrived timely and was professional. As far as I could tell, he performed maintenance on both my heating units as per the agreement. When I purchased the deal, I received an email stating that the company would be calling me in the next couple of days to schedule service. However, after a couple of weeks I had to contact the company to schedule service. In addition, I found out that I could have purchased the same maintenance agreement with another reputable company in the area for a little less. So, this "deal" doesn't appear to be a "deal". It appears that the regular price had been jacked up in order to offer a discount.

The technicians showed up around the original time scheduled, though I had previously re-scheduled. As no one was home, they came back at the re-scheduled time. They were very professional and asked about the hisotry of my heat pump and what problems I had experienced, They performed a leak check as the unit had a history of losing puron. The checked the A/C unit and then performed an air quality check for mold. I have a whole house humidifier and they checked that and recommended I change the water element. Another technician came out and fitted a new element for $35.00. I am very satisfied with the service and look forward to the second service in the spring.

Very good experience with the service today. Technician showed up when scheduled and performed all services expected, was professioinal and thorough.

I found the offer on Angie's List and made payment. I called Allgeier for an appointment. The lady was pleasant and worked with me for an adequate time. I had some problems with my scheduled time but the technician was flexible with me and came at an agreed time later in the day. It was a very good experience.

I got timely communication that they were on the way to the house. They arrived promptly. They did a very thorough job and even were nice enough to fill my request for them to watch me replace the filter so that I was certain that I would know how to do it in the future. I didn't feel rushed when they answered my questions. They were very helpful, courteous and professional.

They are very honest and trustworthy. Their pricing is reasonable. The quality of work is very good as well.

Ordered The Big Deal from Angie's List to have my furnace serviced now and air conditioner serviced in the spring. It just so happened that Allgeier Air is the company that installed my new furnace and new air conditioner about 5 years ago. I was very pleased with them at that time. This was a great deal and I am very happy with Allgeier Air. Their service tech, Ronny, was very professional. I felt comfortable having him in my home. He cleaned and inspected the furnace. I had a concern that the flame was coming on and off intermittently when initially turning the heat on. Ronny checked out my concern and discovered that the flame sensor needed cleaning. This seemed to fix my concern. I believe that I will be just as satisfied with Allgeier Air in the spring when they come back to service my air conditioner.

My home warranty company engaged Algeier Air to install my air conditioner. I spoke at length with their salesman, because I thought I might have to buy a replacement for my worn out one. I researched and compared prices with a number of ac companies, and their prices were comparable. It was their attitude of capability threally stood out to me.

The service technician, Ronny, called 20 minutes prior to arriving as was expected. He performed a leak check on our AC unit and ran other diagnostic tests. He was very professional and got along great with our two large dogs. He explained everything he was doing and gave me some options for repair/replacement. I felt confident in his diagnosis and would definitely recommend this company and technician for AC work.

When we had our house built and was completed in 10/17/07 we interviewed 4 geothermal experts to install our system. I was most impressed with Rick Allgeier as I met him through an elite group, "The Energy Pros" Rick is one of 3 GeoPRO Waterfurnance certified providers in Crestwood and Louisville and was one of the first to install geothermal systems in Louisville. I had a neighbor that ownes his own geothermal business, but chose Rick Allgeier. On the Monday after Matt came out I talked with Ron at the office and Ron said that since the house was completed on 10/17/07 and the date was 6/30/12 when our system went down, that they would cover the repairs. Rick Allgeier Air is a honest man that owns a honest company. that stands behind his work even when the defect is not his fault but when it is Waterfurnace fault. He is a pioneer with geothermal in Louisville. That is why I am writing this review because Rick Allgeier is the best. I rarely write reviews, but I gladly wrote this one.

My air conditioning unit quit working. I pulled out my latest Angie's list magazine and called the AC company closest to me: Allgeier. Allgeier examined the compressor, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. The serviceman explained what the charge would be and made sure I was (excuse the pun) "cool" with it. This was done at 9PM on a Saturday during a major heat wave. Not only do I have cool air again, I have an idea of what future problem areas are in my unit (ex: leaking valves). Ronny was very professional, well-spoken, and neat, despite the fact that he had been working since early morning. He called during the day to update me on the schedule and called when he was on his way. I couldn't ask for better service.

It went very very well overall. I called several AC repair places and the earliest appointment I could get was a Tuesday. I had a gradutaion party I was having for a my daughter the Friday before. I needed the AC fixed ASAP. I called Allgeier Air and they had a tech ready that day. They even called me and told me they could be out before the appointment time. Ronny was able to fix the AC unit in little time. He changed out the 35/5 capacitor, it runs the compressor and told me how to get the most life out of my unit. He was very professional and very nice.

Our a/c unit froze over the weekend. Called at 8 a.m. Monday morning and got an appt. for the next day. They are very good about contacting you 30 min. prior to arrival so that you can get other things done. Arrived at my home, on time, and diagnosed a leak in our a/c line. We were given four options for fixing. (Since we do have an old unit, we did elect to go with the least expensive option.) We will be using Allgeier for all of our future heating and a/c needs for a number of reasons: 1) professional employees; 2)have always been on time; and 3) I feel confident that they know what they are doing.

I found Allgeier Air off of Angie's List. They did an excellent job with their service.

After another company told us we may need a whole new furnace, we called Allgeier based on their bbb reviews. There service man came out quickly on a saturday, assessed the need for an ignitor part and then offered to pick it up at 7am monday morning and come to our house before even going into the office. Our furnace was running again at 7:45 am. They were courteous, prompt, helpful and a great value.

Ruth from Allgeier Air came to our home to give us an estimate on a Sunday. She was knowledgable about the entire heating / air conditioning system and explained all aspects of the heating & cooling system. Personal service is an understatement with this company. She purchased and dropped off a large space heater for us to use until the furnace could be installed. After our previous BAD experience with another company Allgeier Air has is better than expected. This company is true to their advertising- hard to find these days. Best of Louisville for sure.

Matt, was on time, performed checks well and efficiently. Explained different modes with water heater. Is my service technician, knows my system well, will use him and the company again.
