DeWayne arrived on time and is just great. He did a thorough job, showed me exactly what he saw and explained what that meant. He provided estimates on what he recommended that I needed and was honest about how critical it was to do the work recommended. I only regret that I didn't call them earlier. Call them. They're great!

Work was very professional, good explanations of everything. Really neat to see the inside of the chimney using the exploration camera. Will probably have them come back and do some waterproofing/sealing on the outside of the chimney.

The provider stated he would have his reflect more the type of work they provide. They are strictly chimney masonary instead of all around. I am waiting on a refund.

I was very happy with the service performed, the time it was performed in and the explanation given. The tech located, showed me (via camera), and explained an issue with the clay liner in my chimney and provided me a quote for a new stainless liner that would resolve the issue. I've researched it myself and I agree with his conclusions. This is the exact kind of expertise I was looking for when I called them! The only complaint I have is that I was quoted over the phone the same $99 price that is currently offered here on Angie's list, so I didn't bother buying the deal on Angie's list since the price was the same. When the tech arrived, I was told that the $99 price was ONLY for the inspection, and not for the cleaning as well. To get both, I had to pay $179. I'm not saying there was a bait and switch, because maybe I just didn't understand what I was quoted over the phone, but just be absolutely sure what you're getting when you call in because it wasn't clear to me and I was disappointed that I ended up paying more than I had to. I could have saved myself $80 if I had paid more attention and bought the deal on here.

Who knew there was so much to learn and know about something like your chimney that's just there. The service tech, Dwayne Taylor needs an infomercial on TV explaining the operation of your chimney and how when working and cleaned properly can give years of problem free service or create a death trap for your family. He's a born teacher that's willing to explain the operation of the units in terms that people who only know where the fire is can clearly understand. After explaining to me what his plan was and process on checking and cleaning the unit he wasted no time in getting started. He was alone and carried all the equipment in after putting down drop cloths to catch any dust from the cleaning. All the work was done from the inside, not a bit of dust found by my wife and her white glove........... He was very aware of keeping things left as they were found. The bottom line, Dwayne and All American Chimney will be on my first call list for any future chimney problems or just for answers for my chimney operations. Five star tech with a first class company.

My wife was home when the service was performed. After receiving the report with recommendations I called to talk to the inspector to find out he was no longer with the company. Owner and others were more than willing to review the report with me but they couldn't answer specific questions because they did not have first hand knowledge of actually having seen the chimney. I got a second opinion and the costs to address several of the issues cited in the report were significantly less.

Jeramie came on time and the inspection, showing and explaining as the camera was run thru the chimney. He made suggestions for fixing issues with chimney/fireplace. We will be using their service to replace the crown and cap & waterproofing.

The inspection was conducted by the owner, Doug, who is as informative and pleasant an individual as you could find. He explained how the chimney and fireplace work, gave some history of fireplaces and, using a camera for the inspection, showed us exactly what the conditions were and what needed to be done to prevent a house fire. I have never felt more informed about a structure and the construction and repair process for any house work I have ever undertaken. The primary repairs were made by Jason and he was unfailingly polite and hardworking. The process took a little time as the exterior repair had to be done first with the interior work coming about a week later, but the actual work was done a just 2 days. The company does an impressive job of laying down protection within the house and they do a complete and thorough cleaning upon their daily finish. I have never before had need of a chimney/fireplace inspection and repair, so I cannot compare the work or price, but I can say that for the work done, I felt the price was reasonable and I cannot say enough about the quality and professionalism of All American Chimney Service.

I want to give credit to a owner who, after I wrote a negative review with the first contact I had with this company. Came to find out it was a employee who had some personal problems and let effect his work. They came back out to the house and explained the whole issue we were having. After that they came back on the appointed time and did a fantastic job. I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone who has issues with their fireplace. Great company and fair in pricing. They took out the insert, cleaned the chimney, ran a camera up it to show me the condition. Had them install the new damper on the top of the chimney, and they removed the top two rows of brick and reset them and installed new grout to seal the top of the chimney.

Very well! Technection was very professional, experienced and thorough in his inspection and cleaning process. Camera scoped the entire fireplace flue, taking pictures of the spots and places that did not meet specifications, standards and codes of Indiana and the National Fireplace Association. After which he prepared a report for insurances purposes, including costs of recommended repair systems that meets code. Unfortunately, we had changed insurance carriers just after the flue fire and the claim would have been too old. We have oppted to install a repair system in the flue at a later date. Would highly and gladly recommend this company to everyone!

Provider was difficult to contact via email after contact through Angie's List. After a few emails, we were finally able to get an appointment set, but it was much more difficult to set an appointment than it should have been. This may have been due to the large response from it being a special on here. The representative was on time and very friendly. He completed the work in a timely manner, and he did an excellent job. The only complaint is that he stated our chimney is in good working order, but then tried to sell us services for "potential hazards." That doesn't make sense, so we declined the other services and we are now happily using our chimney. I would recommend them to others.

I felt very comfortable with their report and recommendations for replacement and sealing. Service was performed in a timely manner by one of their professionals. I will use them again when we need service.

The service was very nice. They were able to find issues and they let us know of what they were. They were good to work with and I was happy with the service. We did not like that they said all of that was wrong but we were glad they did the inspection. He was timely, pleasant, and clean. They did not get the house dirty at all. I would use them again and recommend them.

eh... it was disappointing overall. I have four fire places and I purchased the AL special for a chimney cleaning. I had wrongly assumed that the two fireplaces that were stacked would have the same flue, but he informed me that this was not the case. He started cleaning the downstairs chimney, but then informed me that there was a blockage, and that the chimney couldn't be fully cleaned, but that is didn't matter anyway because this chimney would "never be usable because it wasn't up to code" and "wasn't even intended to burn wood." (he did say that he could name several other providers who would tell me differently, but he wasn't one of them--he's apparently some kind of firefighter or something too) It would have be nice for him to give me that assessment BEFORE he started getting coal and soot all over my house. I suggested that he clean another chimney instead but he said it would cost the price of another voucher. He also tried to sell me a $2,000+ gas stove or told me that my alternative was a $40,000 chimney restoration. In the ended I ended up paying for a partially cleaned chimney that didn't even matter if it was swept, and the soot that continued to dislodge itself in the ensuing weeks stained my carpets and made a mess. overall, it was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

The technicians were outstanding and very knowledgeable. I was very pleased with the service and would recommend to anyone.
