Great! Nice to know there are still businesses out there that do quality work, and realize they are working for the customer. I could not have been more pleased and impressed. Moved into a new home with 2 fireplaces and I will certainly call them again.

I will use him in the future for this project. We use our chimney in the winter months so this a project that we will have done by August. He seems to be very knowledgeable and honest. During his inspection he took pictures of the shaft and showed my husband and I what our problem was. We will be using him in August.

The technician was on time and got right to work. He was neat and cleaned up after himself. He gave a recommendation on some maintenance work on the crown of my chimney. He also let me know that my fireplace insert was installed properly and according to trade recommendations. That was good to know! I am using this company again for the crown repair. They impress me as true professionals.

He did fine with it. After he gave the quote I was out of town for three weeks and I didn’t have a chance to follow up. I haven’t been able to go back to do the paper work as far as replying. He came and we talked about for him to come and do the work and he explained the prices. He explained a lot about different types of chimneys like bricks and some enclosed with metal tubing all the way up and enclosed and inflated. I had a problem with my chimney and it was at the top and in the cap and we had a heat guard in there and I lifted it up and now it is not sitting properly and he gave me a quote to correct it. I was going to my insurance and talk to them about it. The price was comparable and good and it is the first time ever I had this test performed. Once I went ahead and chose a service on line and received an email to call and make an appointment and they were responsive. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. He had everything like the TV and camera and set it up in the house and didn’t make a mess and it went very well. He was on time.

After purchasing our older home, I had procrastinated getting the chimney inspected for several years--and thus had not used the fireplaces--because I had expected the job would be difficult and messy. I was wrong. The All American Chimney technician was careful and neat. His use of a fiber-optic video camera allowed me to see on-screen the details of the interior of the fireplaces and flues, whose structure and condition he clearly explained as we went along. Wherever there was a problem that would need repair, he explained the safety issues, described the repair process, and estimated the costs. I sensed no sales pressure and appreciated his knowledge and experience, as he helped me to prioritize the maintenance needed. He also used the opportunity to provide welcome fireplace safety information. After seeing evidence of water damage inside the chimney, I decided to have All American install a chimney cap and apply waterproofing to prevent further damage before any additional repairs. This work was completed efficiently and satisfactorily within a week of my calling to schedule it.

Jeramie called in advance to let me know he was on his way, arrived on time, and did a great job. He inspected my wood stove insert and the chimney, clean it extremely well and showed me a few things that might need my attention. He laid out tarping as to not make a mess on the floor, cleaned up after the service, and was really polite and helpful. This was the first time I had the chimney cleaned so it had to be a real mess. No doubt, these guys go on my list of call again service folks. I was extremely satisfied with the work and would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends or to call them for a return visit.

Our home is well over 100 years old with a small, coal/wood burning fireplace. It had been used with no problem but we had determined that there was some kind of blockage because upon lighting the first fire back in November because it was not drawing smoke. I called three companies for inspections and estimates and each of them gave me the same diagnosis - either some kind of blockage (nest, etc.) or a collapse in the chimney. I eventually selected All American because of their professionalism, price and realistic approach. They gave me the worse case scenario but also gave me hope that it could be repaired reasonably. All American inspected the chimney from a ladder outside as well as inside with a video camera that they fed all the way up. I was present and watched the whole video inspection so I could easily see and understand what needed to be done. We signed a contract with the company on a Wednesday afternoon, on Thursday they tore down the chimney to the roof line and began rebuilding the tile liner from that point upward. On Friday they continued rebuilding the chimney by Saturday at noon they had completed the chimney. The next week they came back and installed the stainless steel cap and did a complete cleaning of the chimney and fireplace. Along the way they were very careful to not damage or make a bigger mess than they needed to make - including taking shoes off when they came inside, spreading a tarp when they cleaned the chimney and carefully cleaning out all the ashes and debris from the fireplace. They arrived when expected, but if they were running behind they communicated with me so I did not have to wonder if they were going to show up or "stand me up". I would call them back to do other chimney work and recommend them to others.

The service person was to have arrived at my home shortly after 1pm. At 2:30pm I contacted the business to see if I had misunderstood the expected arrival time. The person on the phone said I had understood correctly and the service person should arrive shortly after 1pm. When I pointed out that it was 1 1/2 hours past the expected time she seemed surprised and offered to contact the technician. (she promptly hung up on me). The technician did call and explained the previous job had taken longer than it should. I live in a rural area and wanted to give the technician directions. Obviously there were not written down, Forty five minutes later he called to tell me he was lost. As best I can tell the job was done correctly,

The gentleman that serviced my dryer vent was very well-mannered and clean cut. He explained everything to me as he was doing it. He cleaned the vent on the outside of my house and then disassembled the dryer hose and thoroughly inspected and cleaned it. He even discovered the site where mice have been entering my home and showed me what to do to seal it...added bonus!

My chimney was swept and during the video inspection I was talked through the three major problems they identified. I was told very explicitly that those three issues had to be fixed before I could use the fireplace, and that the previous homeowners had abused it without performing any maintenance. I was given an estimate of approximately $1600 to complete the work. I called in a second company (very highly rated on Angie's List) to get a second opinion and estimate. The gentleman inspected the fireplace and chimney and told me he saw nothing that concerns him, the previous owners hadn't used it that much, and I could use the fireplace without hesitation. I'll be giving his company my future business.

The work was performed as scheduled. The information imparted to us on safety and use of our fireplace was invaluable. Before leaving, he scheduled the approximate date of our next yearly inspection. Much care was taken with keeping our home clean as they did the work and the technician was very personable and friendly. He did a lot of hard work on my roof in 100 degree weather!

Called and they explained what was included in the cleaning service and gave reasonalbe qoute, had them schedule the service, during the cleaning they found damage in the chimney and gave me an estimate to repair, also had them quote the price for a cap and had them repair and order cap. all went well and smoothly. Any time I talked to them on on the phone or in person they were very polite and professional. I am very satisfied.

I was referred to All American Sweep & Clean by another chimney sweep who was unable to accommodate my schedule. On July 18 I contacted them, and spoke to Jeramie, who was taking calls because the owner was out of town. I made an appointment for Friday, July 20 between 9 and 11am. At 11am, I hadn't heard anything and called to check on the status. Apparently there was a miscommunication and my appointment was never entered into the system. The owner was very apologetic, and rescheduled me for 2-4 that afternoon. At 2:00, Jeramie called to let me know he was on the way, and arrived about 15 minutes later. Jeramie and Nick (an apprentice) were extremely professional, courteous, and left the house cleaner than it was when they arrived. I was given a discounted price due to the scheduling slip-up. Overall, I was thrilled with the service I received, and would no hesitate to use All American Sweep & Clean in the future.

Had appt scheduled for Saturday, April 14. I waited but they never called or showed up. Rescheduled appt for next Saturday, April 21 between 9-10 am. Did not show or call. I called them and they go another service guy to come about 1:00 pm. Recommended a new chimney flue and said they would e-mail me an estimate. Never got estimate so I called. They brought by estimate for $ 2,800 Fortunately I got another company Warm Hearth from Angie's list to take a look. They said there was nothing wrong with our chimney and that we did not need a flue. Charged me $ 75 for the inspection
