I hadn't used my fireplace for a long time and wanted it checked out before I tried to use it again. Jeramie looked it over and answered all my questions. He was neat, friendly and polite. I would definitely call him again if I needed his help.

Doug was 30 mins early and that is good with us (better than being late). He was courteous upon entry. He thoroughly cleaned the chimney that resulted in about a half of a bucket of soot (which is pretty dirty). He inspected and recommended that the back refractory panel be replaced since it was cracked in several places (which I knew would happen). He used a big tarp for his work and cleaned up well afterwards. (I called All American Chimney to schedule for next week the replacement of the back panel which had to be ordered.) Overall, very satisfied with the service and will use again next year.

I would use this company again! Jeremy was the best!

It went very well. They actually found a crack in our firewall that we had not noticed, which could have caused a fire. They were very knowledablge in what they were doing. We also ordered the firewall panel from them.

Purchased voucher from Angie's List. It was still more expensive than others I found on Living Social and Groupon after I purchased it. I liked the reviews that was on here though. The fellow came over an hour or so late and said their company is so thorough and does such a great job so it pushes them on time. He was here for a total 15 minutes - 1/2 hour at the most from the time he pulled in the driveway until the time he pulled out. The guy was very nice and professional. However, He did not inspect the outside or top of the chimney at all. I asked him about that and he told me that these types of fireplaces hold up well. He said he eyed it from outside on the ground and could tell there wasn't anything wrong. He told me that we should have our chimney cleaned and inspected yearly. However a few years ago whoever cleaned it last time told me that it only needs cleaned every couple years. That company was very thorough. I wish I could remember who it was.

The technician showed up right on time. He did a very thorough cleaning of the fireplace and the chimney with no mess whatsoever. Afterwards he let me observe a video inspection of the chimney to see that everything was OK. He did an excellent job.

Doug came out to clean our chimney. He arrived right on time and quickly got to work. He cleaned the fireplace and chimney from the inside, then went up on the roof to clean from up there. He had drop cloths down so there was absolutely no mess when he was done. I will definitely be using All American Chimney Service for my yearly chimney cleaning from now on!

Did an outstanding job!!! Was extremely professional and courteous. Our fireplace has never looked so good! Will definitely be calling them next year for an annual clean and highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have their chimney cleaned.

Called before they arrived and then arrived on-time. The individual was very polite and professional. He took photos from the rooftop to show me the condition of the chimney. I also watched the cleaning of the fireplace from a monitor. I would recommend this company.

I didn't deal with them, my wife dealt with them and I think she was fine with it. She didn't seem to be unhappy or she would have told me. We have 2 chimneys so we added a second chimney inspection and my wife took care of the payment. I didn't see these people, I spoke to them to schedule it and then that was it. Chimney inspection is really hard, I guess I could get up there and then even looked or something. In the yard, I can see what they were doing and when I got home, I could see that the work was done. In that situation, I rely on the effort, they seem to be putting effort to it according to my wife because she described it to me.

Arrived on time... initial inspection comment implied that chimney looked in good condition; I felt good about that! But, on closer examination, the inspector used an extended camera; I was shown all the problem areas that NEEDED to be repaired or replaced, plus areas that could benefit from but not necessarily need repair. Written estimate for repairs: approximately $100 - $5,000. Inspector: don't imply that anything is in good condition at outset... that only leads to questioning the final written estimate.

He inspected the fireplace. The home is older so the chimney is not completely airtight and he could not say it was safe to use without a 3G procedure being done.

They were thorough. I felt they very knoweldgeable and did a good job. I would recommend their service to others.

David came out for a free estimate 9/24/2013. He arrived on time and presented himself very professionally. I was surprised when he showed me the code of ethics that was printed on the back of his company badge, and impressed when I realized he took this code of behavior seriously . David is a young man, but don't be fooled, he is knowledgeable about his trade and exhibited an honesty that can be rare when dealing with service providers. He paid close attention as I showed him how the hot water heater and furnace were vented through one flue, the water damage on the ceiling above the fireplace, and the poor shape of the chimney stack on the roof. He was probably surprised that I climbed up on the roof after him so that I could point out my concerns, ask questions, and also to listen to what he was concerned about. He noticed the poor flashing right away, which was probably the source of the water damage on the interior ceiling. He immediately offered to caulk the obvious gaps--without at that time knowing whether I would hire All American Chimney Service, and without charge! As we made our way back inside, he offered and performed a camera inspection up the fireplace flue, again free of charge. Even though this exercise revealed more problems, I knew at this point that if I wanted the job done right with no short-cuts, and people who cared about the quality of their work, this was the company to hire. David is an excellent first line representative: he listens, pays attention to potential customers' concerns, applies no pressure, and is honest. The crew for the chimney rebuild, Craig and Danny, arrived on time 10/4/2013 and completed the job by late afternoon. David and Jason arrived the next day to perform the flue work and install the damper. Unfortunately, heavy rain made it impossible to complete the job. We re-scheduled for another date, and Jason came out first to start the parging and gap and fill. Jason is experienced, very knowledgeable, and takes pride in providing nothing less than the best quality job. David came a bit later and installed the damper. My experience with this company was positive and worry-free from the friendly front-lines of Francis and Annette, who worked with me on scheduling and payment, to the quality re-build done by Craig and Danny, to the interior flue work done by Jason, and the patience and endurance of David to answer all my questions and guide the whole process to a successful conclusion.

He did a great job, even got on top of a very, very tall chimney to inspect and advise us on the possibility of converting to a wood-burning insert. We will definitely use this company again.

It went very well. Jason was my technician. He was very professional. He took extra lengths to make sure he kept the home clean while using all the tools and vacuums to inspect the chimney. I was able to watch the screen as the camera went through the chimney and he explained everything that we saw to me.

The service tech made a few recommendations and bid additional services which I elected not to take at this time. He was very professional.

Chimney sweep was completed and then a camera system was used to check the inside of the chimney for cracks and other damage. We saw a crack in the tiles near the top and I was given a detailed estimate of my options for repair. The technician who came out was very polite and took extra care to make sure that he kept the area around the chimney clean. The only piece that wasn't checked was actually getting on the roof - we have a very sharply-angled roof and he didn't have the equipment on him to safely scale it. Since we just recently moved in and the inspection did not see any damage to the external portions of the chimney, we were not worried about it this time. Would definitely recommend.

He identified a few issues that need further action which I have scheduled. The young man was very professional, respectful, knowledgeable and friendly. I am very pleased and will write another review when the repairs are completed.

I purchased the sweep and expected someone to call for an appointment per the deal details, no one called or emailed. I called and set up the appointment. Great care was taken to prevent dust from entering the house and any residue left in the fireplace was vacuumed up. My main reason for buying the sweep was to get rid of a creosote smell in the room. The sweep did not do this because the chimney has to be treated with a powdered product called Cre-Away followed by a fire to activate the chemicals in the powder to dissolve the creosol. This process can be done by the company or the individual after purchasing some Cre-Away online. After several treatments, over a week or so, the chimney needs to be swept again to remove the creosote residue. I did not know this and now I have to have another chimney sweep. To those considering a sweep and thinking they would like to remove the creosote too, I recommend buying the Cre-Away and follow the simple instructions and then get your chimney swept.

This cleaning was much more thorough than ones I've had in the past. Jason used a camera and basically taught me about chimney, and fire, safety. He was very neat (and I had a white couch within a few feet of his workspace!) He cleaned up, and you would not have known he had ever been here. I'll be having him back to make a few repairs.
