Description of Work: Service seems fine, but serviceman removed a piece of foam from my furnace and did not replace it. When I asked why he had taken it out, he said that I didn't need it. I thought it was some kind of filter, and I was a little confused because I wondered why it was in the furnace/ac in the first place. After the service experience, I did notice that my ac/furnace sounded noisier than it did before, so I'm not sure that I did not need that piece of material. On the whole, I wish that the foam/filter had been replaced.

Description of Work: Checked two units. Provided a lot of useful information on balancing the load between units. (We were cooling the whole house with the smaller unit, which stressed the smaller unit and cost more money over time.) Very professional.

Description of Work: replaced my furnace and air with 95% efficient furnace and a 16 sear air conditioner. Am very pleased with the work and the equipment

Description of Work: Serviced AC/ heating system, added two pounds of lost refrigerant, assisted with info needed to maintain unit as well as educated me on a few items I needed to do such as leveling out AC unit which had started to become sunken into ground. He also added some sealant to system to possibly repair the slow leak of coolant.

Description of Work: Digital therm. went out 7/4/14 - unable to use a/c - Called Aire Serv on 7/5/14 - they had a service man (Danny) at my home on Monday. He arrived on time, was very courteous and helpful. Replaced the thermostat and, at my request,I decided to purchase a service agreement. Danny then cleaned the a/c unit at that time and told me they would call me for the fall/winter cleaning. I was very placed with the work/service performed.

Description of Work: They came to inspect my furnace for Winter. I purchased a deal from Angie's list. The technician was on time, but originally said that my furnace was fine, but when I asked why it was running so loud, he re-inspected, and said the blower motor wheel was loose, and that was the cause of the sound. He forgot to put the furnace filter in when he left, but seemed through and nice otherwise.

Description of Work: Aire Serv sent out their most comedic technician, Tim, to my home. Tim reminded me a lot of my dad, and he approached my A/C tune-up with a no-nonsense attitude, sprinkled with the humor that seems to live with that generation to this day. I enjoyed his company a great deal. | |As for his actual technical expertise, and service, Tim was above reproach. He helped me identify some problem areas, some positive things about what we already had, and in the end I trusted his professional opinion to get a new motor for my older A/C unit. Although I didn't need him to tell me how to do this (I'm no expert, of course), he replaced my old air filter while he was inspecting the furnace. What a neighbor! | |Overall, nothing but high marks for Aire Serv and their great tech, here. I look forward to seeing Tim out at the house again when we replace this motor. I ask you for your thoughts and prayers for my 16 year old A/C unit.

Description of Work: Purchased a Big Deal offer for AC checkup and cleaning. The services techs were knowledgeable and friendly. The first visit resulted a repair to the gas valve in the furnace. When that didn't solve the problem, the suggested calling the gas company regarding the outside regulator (which, did need to be replaced). Eventually the decision was made to replace the furnace and AC. While I enjoyed the service techs, the sales team was a bit high pressure and the prices where above market.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a Heating tune-up. Air Serv was great!
