Great. I called on a Saturday afternoon and my call was answered right away. I described my issue and they were very friendly, letting me know what they could/could not do for me. I work full time so I was glad to find out they could come as early at Tuesday at a time that was convenient for me. They arrived early, took their time, took photos and wrote up a report.
Description of Work: I needed a chimney inspection/cleaning done to sell my home.

Description of Work: The $129 special was misleading as extra charges were applied for the visit to inspect and give a quote for chimney sweep service. Cleaning, once completed, was not done properly, and other work performed was done very unprofessionally. Had to have another company come out and actually perform the chimney cleaning services I had previously paid ACE Chimney for. Will NEVER use again. Owner is very nice and professional, his crews are lazy and have not done good work for us.

Bad Bad Bad. They were unprofessional, rude and we ended up getting a refund instead of any work being done.

Description of Work: Cleaned and visually inspected a chimney that is over 100 years old and original to the house prior to us putting in a ventless gas coal system, They put up plastic in doorways, opened windows and used a shop vac along with a particular type of rake to remove decades of debris and dirt from the smoke shelf behind the firebox. I was impressed with their skill, knowledge, punctuality, and their efforts to be as clean would be possible in that sort of situation. This is a very good company and I would definitely use them again if needed for another chimney which is wood burning or any other chimney servicing. Highly recommend.

After not being able to find a nearby business on Angie's list, we resorted to the internet and contacted Ace Chimney Sweep. Owner Steve Bradley showed up promptly after a phone call (he was having trouble receiving his e-mail), and although his company was not in a position to handle our specific repair problem, he spent considerable time explaining our situation to. He even contacted another contractor and offered to us detailed precautions to be taken in hiring the work to be done. We have no hesitation in recommending what we feel is a very ethical and honest gentleman.

He came on time and installed the cap with no trouble at all, the birds were hiding in a cubby hole in the chimney and weren't seen at first we heard them after the cap was installed. He promptly came back and got the baby birds out of the chimney, he carefully took each baby bird outside and placed it under a shade tree. They were very tiny, not sure if they were big enough to make it on their own but the mother had already abandoned them. He did a very good job and he did not charge me for the extra trip, I would highly recommend his company.
