+ -1 moreIt was an awesome experience. It went really well and very fast. The man who came out was very friendly. He just came in and did his job and it was done so quickly. It was done in a couple of hours and he was out of here. It was perfect. Compared to the old one, the new garage door is great. It was so noisy before and now, it is quiet and we love it. The price for the service was very average with the price of everybody else so we did not feel gouged.
Description of Work: Absolute Overhead Door Service put in the whole track and the whole new garage door for us two months ago since it was collapsing on us.

+ -1 moreIt went great. i would certainly recommend Absolute Overhead Door service to anyone with garage door problems. The tech was knowlegable, friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable. I came away quite satisfied with what I got for my money.
Description of Work: I contracted with Absolute Overhead Door Service to perform routine maintenance on my garage door opener. My cousin installed the door opener six years ago and I hadn't had it serviced since then. I needed someone to inspect the springs, rollers, chain and pulling unit to make sure they are all mechanically sound. The Absolute tech arrived on time at my home as scheduled. He was knowledgable and answered all my questions. He gave me practical advice about how to best maintain my door and the door opener. He tightened up and lubricated the track and roller hardware, cleaned up the electric eye door activator and inspected the door itself. When he was done he cleaned up promptly, thanked me for hiring Absolute and left. All in all it went very well. I was quite satisfied.

During the maintenance, he indiated that a part in the garage motor was bad and indicated it may go out soon. He quoted a price for me, then upon permission, went ahead and replaced the part. The garge door is now significantly quieter and open / closes great.

The service technician arrived promptly as scheduled, completed the work as expected, explained the problem I was having with the opener and suggested options for repair or replacement. Just his fiddling with the receiver got the thing working again for now, but when I'm ready to replace the old unit, I will definitely consider calling Absolute.

+ -1 moreAnswered my call immediately. Came out the next day at 9am. Replaced the gear sprocket. All went well. Since our door was fairly new, he did not replace the rollers saving us $15. Spoke to my husband at length about the pros and cons of replacing the entire door opener vs. just the sprocket. We were very satisfied with the information and reasons given for just replacing the sprocket and with the quick response time. Also, I had called another company before calling Absolute. The other company's trip charge was a full $35 more!!!
Description of Work: Replaced the gear sprocket. The chain would not stay connected so the door would not open.
