Description of Work: When I turned on the oven it sizzled and sparks flew from the back of the stove and in the oven. . It was not connected tightly. It almost started a fire. He had to replace the terminal block. It had to be ordered and was put in the next day. He also gave good advice on cleaning the oven.

Description of Work: they came to give me a price on repairing a dishwasher and a burner on a gas stove. |I was told the dishwasher needed a new motherboard ($400) and the stove needed a new valve assembly ($89 for the part and $200 for labor). |The price for the washer didn't surprise me but I found the price for the stove to be more than I cared to pay.

Description of Work: Dishwasher was not working, needed to replace the board. Scheduled a service call requiring a day off of work. They were unable to get there due to car trouble and did not call me, I had to call to find out what happened. Second scheduled time, technician was sick and we needed to reschedule again. It was the time of the appointment before they called to tell me the technician was sick. I believe there is room for improvement in the scheduling process. It appears to be very unorganized and unprofessional. Once, the technician made it to the house we still had to schedule a second time because the part needed to be ordered. I am not sure why they requested the model number if they were not going to show up prepared to replace the board. The part was ordered and installed, the dishwasher works well. The technician also discovered a short in my electrical box, which caused the board to burn out in the first place. I believe this could be a first rate appliance repair shop if they could get the scheduling piece running better.

The service person was very good. I had to pay extra for a small repair. |Angie's list misinformation is the reason for the thumbs down.

Description of Work: Yhey checked the dryer out and found the vent pipe clogged. They cleaned the cleaned out the pipe and reconnected it. The pipe fell of the next day, due to the duct tape not holding on the the pipe. They came out the next working day and this time put a clamp on it. It was partically my fault ssince I had told him the tape it. We both thought it would work.

Description of Work: Did work I contracted for, plus fixed a squeaky dryer, but then it started squeaking again 2 weeks later, they came and replaced a part and only charged me for part, not a second service call.

Description of Work: My appointment was scheduled within days of my call. The attendant cleaned and tuned up my washer and dryer. He was prompt, very professional, and did a thorough job. I was very pleased.
