Now celebrating over 38 years in business, Aable Appliance Repair continues to be known for delivering top-notch maintenance and repair of residential brand-name appliances to the people of Metro Louisville and Southern Indiana. Locally and family owned, our clients know they can depend on us for professional care at very competitive prices. We repair a wide range of appliances, including high-end appliances, freestanding ice machines, and anything in the kitchen and laundry room. Our factory-trained technicians use modern-day test equipment to ensure precise diagnostics and repairs. All work, including parts and labor, is fully guaranteed for your peace of mind. Licensed and insured, we offer same-day/next-day service in most cases, with well-stocked trucks and expert technicians ready to handle your repair needs. We have several top refrigeration technicians who are capable of replacing compressors and performing other sealed system repairs. The service call fee is separate from the repair and due at the time of service. When repairs are made, parts, tax, and labor are charged in addition to the service call fee, and also due at the time of service. Our service hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., and we are closed on Sundays. Description of Work: dismantled a few things on the dryer. Told me why the dryer was making a noise and what it would cost to fix the problem. The cost of the repair was going to be almost the cost of a new dryer so I make the decision not to repair the dryer.

Description of Work: Purchased $75 worth of service for a $49 special, to install customer purchased control panel for Whirlpool Cabriolet washer. PLEASE NOTE ! These Whirlpool Cabriolet models had defective control panels since day one. Whirlpool would not classify problem as a recall-program for hundreds of customers (see Google online reviews and comments) from many many dissatisfied Whirlpool customers. Some customers had to purchase new control panels and installation on their own at coats ranging from $500 to $700, on a Cabriolet coating $900 to $1,200. But I digress, I was able to secure the control panel through Walmart for $165 and service installation from AABLE Appliance for the $49 special from Angie's List for a total cost of $214. When called AABLE confirmed an appointment date and time, arrived at said time and finished the service installation in less then an hour. I certainly would AABLE Appliance & Service. GOOD PEOPLE !

Thank you for your recent review of our service. I am sorry you were so dissatisfied. Our records indicate that your request for service was received in September, 2015. Due to the specific nature of your repair issue, we were able to quote you a cost over the phone. The part cost given was the retail cost of the part, meaning the price you would have paid for the part had you purchased it directly from the retailer. You declined repairs, and our technician was never dispatched to your home. Subsequently, you were issued a refund for your Angie’s List purchase.
