Very professional, did work quickly as promised. I was not there when they came out but when I got home from work that evening all work was done and old siding was gone.

Neither the lowest nor highest bidder, but we thought they would be the best combination of price and service. We were not disappointed. Mr Combs was very patient and helpful in working with us. They worked with our house painters in coordinating the removal and installation. After they put up the gutters, they asked us to go around the house during a rain to see what adjustments might be needed. We did so, and they came out promptly and made them. Later they called again to make sure everything was right. I have waited to post until now because I wanted to see how the gutters and gutter covers held up through a fall and winter. It is February and so far the gutters and covers have come through with flying colors, a huge improvement over our old gutters. Only time will tell if the gutters are still this great 10 years from now, but the materials and installation appear to be first class.

Great experience! After killing a full day last year cleaning my gutters before I could hang Christmas lights, I made a promised to myself that I would never subject myself to cleaning the gutters again. I called Jeff Elder and his crew put new aluminum gutter guards on our house. Now I am not plagued with trees taking root in our gutters or small waterfalls showing up during rain storms. Jeff also made it so affordable that I could not justify purchasing the supplies and doing the job myself. Great job and experience.

A-1 was great. Everything happened smoothly and quickly. All suggested changes were explained clearly.

They pressure washed. I think considering the amount of work done the fact that they had their order and installed the fluted fibre glass column it's reasonable.

Replaced all of the above plus new overhang around entire house. Fantastic job!

They are on Angie's List. We think that they did an excellent job. I think they came out when they said they would come out, installed it and overall we are very very pleased with them. We were obviously surprised that the price was a lot lower than what we anticipated. Regarding their responsiveness, they were easy to get hold of and they came out when they said they would and installed it in a pretty short order. They were very professional.

They were good and punctual. I've recommend them as well.

They visited on Friday, May 31st and said they would email the quote on Monday, June 3rd and we finally received the quote on Monday, June 24th. Punctuality and doing what you say you're going to do are big in my eyes. Unfortunately we will not be using them as they were higher than our other quotes in addition to receiving the quote later than we expected.

Our gutters and downspouts were replaced due to wear and appearance. They were replaced with the larger size (6 inch). The work crew arrived and started to work immediately. They were friendly and courteous and did a great job and cleaned up after the job was completed. I will definitely recommend A-1 Aluminum to my friends and will use them for any future home improvements.

Had a great experience with A-1 Aluminum. John came out promptly and provided an emailed estimate. I received bids from 3 companies and his was in the middle. He was backed up for 2-3 months which was unfortunate, but that's a sign of a busy, good professional. The work was performed on schedule and there was no mess left behind.

Overall it went well. Jeff, the salesman, was polite and professional. The siding crew's work was good, but they didn't completely clean up after themselves. Pieces of siding were found on the deck and yard, and they moved the patio furniture/dog house and didn't bother to put them back. They also didn't pick up all of the nails. I expected a couple of nails left (it's unrealistic to expect ALL nails), and my wife and I picked up at least 15 after they finished. I was overall satisfied so I didn't complain to A-1.

We contacted A-1 Aluminum because we have a gutter mitre corner that is leaking. We had used A-1 previously a number of years ago to install gutters on our barn. The service and price then was acceptable so we contacted them again. We knew it was a small job but I am 71 years old and the gutter is about 18 feet off the ground and over a concrete patio. Mr. Elder came to the house to review the situation and said he would email an estimate. We had to call him after a few days asking about the estimate. He finally emailed a contract and I replied back that it was acceptable. After not hearing from him for about two week my wife called and spoke to him and he said it would be about 3 weeks before he could get to it. My wife said that would be fine just to let us know when he would be coming. WE HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM HIM AT ALL. As I said, it is a small job and probably would not take over 1/2 hour from the time they took the ladder off the truck until they were back on their way again. We paid no money up front so I can't complain that we were cheated. If he had told us when he first came out to give an estimate that he did not want to do the job we would understand and would contact another contractor. Although we live in Oldham County it is really not out of the way since I believe Mr. Elder lives close to LaGrange. I have copies of the exchanged emails.

They came and the work was performed as planned and the work sight was left clean. They also cleaned the gutters and all debris were removed.

They were excellent. I don't remember how much I spent on their services. I would recommend them to my family members and friends.

Very well. The response to our request for an estimate was immediate (next day). There was some delay in the scheduled appt. for the work due to unforeseen circumstances. However, once the person was here, work was performed expeditiously and well. We were very satisfied. Weather since the repairs were made has shown the repairs to have been done well and completely.

On my initial call to A-1 Aluminum I spoke with Melissa. (When she spoke I knew I had found a company that was customer driven) I was surprised when Melissa told me she would have Jeff stop by that same evening. . Jeff arrived within 1 hour of my conversation with Melissa. He was very professional and gave suggestions on using 6" gutter versus 4" gutter and the reasons why and even took paint samples so the new gutter and downspouts would match what was on the house. He told me that he would work an estimate up and e-mail it to me that same evening. Just before leaving Jeff thanked me for allowing him to give an estimate and said how much he appreciates the opportunity. Later that evening I checked my e-mail and the estimate was there. Melissa called me on a Friday and asked if it was ok for them to come out the next day, Saturday, to install the gutters and downspouts. She said they would be their around 12:30. My wife called me at work on Saturday around 1pm and told me that A-1 Aluminum was there working on the gutters. I am very pleased with A-1 Aluminum's work and highly recommend them.

After much research I went with this company. They did not perform the work until approximatley a month after I accepted bid. I think they had other bigger jobs that they worked before mine. Was told that work would be done in one day but it took two days. Started on a Friday and finished on the next Monday. I did ask them to delay once prior to starting due to heavy rain. Although I was somewhat frustrated with the amount of time it took to get the job done, I feel it was a quality job.

They completed the work very quickly and left my yard clean when they were finished.
