502 Construction and Concrete

Solicited recommendations in my neighborhood social media website for a contractor to put up a shed in my backyard and 502 Construction was one of the 3 that I contacted from that list. Of the 3 I contacted, Ted (502 Construction) and one other where the only 2 to come out to look at what I wanted and ball park me an estimate. The other one that did come out and look at the backyard and hear me out on what I wanted...well...never heard from him again, never even got the quote/estimate from him. Ted with 502 construction was a pleasure to work with. He framed up the slab one day and poured it when the weather broke. After the concrete had cured, and my shed kit was delivered, he got right to putting it up! He works alone so it took him a few days to get through it, but he worked until dark most days and got it done! Couldn't be happier with the service he provided and will definitely be using his services again for other projects I have in mind next year!

502 was very thorough and very particular with the work. They made several suggestions to improve the job. Very professional and very quality driven. I would highly recommend them.

It didn't "go!" My husband and I contacted Ted after he was referred by our neighbor, who raved about his company. Ted came to our home and gave us an estimate on removing old patio, laying new concrete including setting in 6x6 posts for pergola (that we were going to build). We verbally agreed to have Ted's company do the job. It was delayed several times due to rainy weather, which was no fault of the company's. However, as the weather cleared, we were given several dates of when the job would be started, none of which happened. This was after we removed patio furniture, grill, etc off the patio several times in prep for the work to start. Several more back and forth calls to Ted resulted in more promised start dates with no shows. My husband had to call Ted after each no show only to be given more potential start dates. Finally, after patiently waiting for ~ 3 months, we gave up. My husband wanted to give him one last chance for an actual start date only to be told he "might" be able to have a crew to our house at the beginning of the following week. We decided to part ways. My husband states owner didn't seem too upset about losing our business. Luckily, we had not put any money down. I can't imagine how hard that would have been to get back! So here we are, 3 months later, and no new patio to show for it!

After initial problems with call back, the company cancelled three successive appointments.

From start to finish Ted kept us up to date with everything he was planning on doing.Explained the drainage process and showed us step by step the repair process. He seems extremely motivated and proud of the work he does. He went above and beyond of what was expected.My wife and I highly recommend this company.
