When the two movers arrived I took them to an antique piece of furniture and told them to make sure they handled with care because it was the most important piece in the home. While loading the movers had to be told to use blankets to cover wood items. When the truck was loaded items were not secured properly. When the truck arrived at the new home items had shifted and boxes fell out the back of the truck. One of the first items unloaded was the antique piece I asked them to take care of. This piece had a big scratch down the front and instead of two movers bringing it inside, one mover decided to pick it up by himself and broke the leg as he brought it through the front door. Even though furniture pads were used the 2 movers pulled pieces of furniture off of other pieces instead of lifting them off. This caused scratches to other pieces of furniture. The 2 movers tried to take items up the steps but it was obvious that more damage would occur if allowed to do so. They were told to leave items on the first floor. Heavy items were scooted, instead of lifted, on the wood floor causing scratches on the floor. It was obvious that these movers had little training. I have moved 5 times in the last 8 years and this is by far the worst experience I have had with a moving company. I must say they do have a good repair guy who knows how to repair and hide damage to furniture and floors.

Must give a BIG shoutout to Wildcat Moving of Lexington, Kentucky. Would absolutely recommend them for your move. Nathan and Lecholas were professional, polite, efficient, and two of the most hard work young men I've ever encountered. They never stopped. They were super helpful and because of their quick, efficient work, the total price came in UNDER budget estimate. Wildcat Moving is the way to go. Thank you, Nathan and Lecholas! Ask for them by name!

Wildcat movers are the best movers in town. We have used them before and would not use any one else! We had them do a little extra moving of furniture than was planned. They did everything we asked and then some. They were very prompt and their charge was exactly as quoted. Very nice young men!

The three movers, Adi, Darius, and McGee were very professional and did a great job!

Absolutely the best! It was almost a good experience, although I was moving burned and scorched items that survived a fire that lost me my residence. Their kindness and sensitivity was greatly appreciated during a tense and stressful time. God bless these amazing people! I've used them before with the same results. They are quick, careful, kind...I could go on and on! They treated my things as if they belonged to their favorite relative!

Only hire this company if you (1.) want to do a lot of the work yourself, (2.) have a flexible time frame, (3.) low expectations for just about everything. Oh-- and buy that insurance! You will need it. For our move in December, 2016, we'd booked an early time slot on a Saturday--for which we paid more per hour. We chose that time because we knew a three bedroom house + garage might take all day to move. I sat waiting in our boxed-up house for hours, fielding the occasional phone call from Wildcat saying "It would be just a little longer". They did not arrive until after 1p; our appointment had been at 9:00a. The two guys they sent were very nice, but didn't look like the hefty movers I'd used in the past. I hadn't broken down our furniture, etc, because (in the past) movers had always been able to do that quickly for me, and I received no instructions from Wildcat that might differ. They took ages breaking down two beds and lost a set of screws for one of the beds. (Mind you: we're paying by the hour.) They did not come with the right tools. They had no appliance dollies, for instance, so they were actually bare-handing things like a washing machine down a flight of steps. I could barely watch. That's just one example. Within two hours of their arrival, one of the guys started to ask "if we HAD to be out of the house by the end of the day." He said they could come back later in the week to finish up. Not a third of the items had been moved into the truck, and already they wanted to knock off early. By 6:00p, my brother and I started moving boxes with them to try to hurry the process along. In the process of moving the truckload to our new house, they had damaged a vintage secretary--splintering the drawer and somehow losing a piece of the hardware. At that point, I agreed to stop the work and let them go, job unfinished, because I wanted to contact the owner and discuss everything that had happened before letting them touch any of our possessions again. The most disappointing part--and why I'm complaining on line-- is that when I brought all this to the attention of the owner, he made a perfunctory apology and offered 10% off the rest of the move. When I pointed out that the inconvenience warranted at the very least a deeper discount, he replied, "It's not like we charged you for the items we didn't move." And that was that. I will say that the insurance did get us a professional woodworker to fix the secretary. He did a fantastic job, but we had to hound Wildcat for several days to set that up. BUY THE INSURANCE! If you have a bigger job, are on a stricter schedule for your move, and want your possessions to remain undamaged during a move, don't use Wildcat. Since our experience, I've talked to four separate coworkers who have similar stories. Caveat emptor.

Nathan, James M, James D, and Ryan R were amazing! We had a curveball thrown at us the morning of our move and these guys went above and beyond to get us out on a time crunch, reduce my stress and make a bright spot in my day! They were the best!

It was pretty good. It was two guys, some of the pieces were a little overwhelming for them and they did have a little trouble with one piece. It slipped out of their grip and did a little bit of damage. There is a flat rate for two hours, anything over that is adding on. They were real efficient and kept at it the whole time, it was a really hot day. They kept my cost pretty much to a minimal. They wrote my time down a little after the interview. They wanted to be fair about that. Generally they seemed competent in trying to get that job done as quickly as they could. They were very professional.

Stephen and Lecholas were extremely professional, punctual and handled our move with care. We had several antique pieces as well as several large pieces and all were moved without damage. The arrived a few minutes early and gave an honest day's work. My husband and I would definitely hire them again in the future!

I've used Wildcat Moving three times before, so I recommended them to my girlfriend who was moving her things to my house. Fourth time was definitely not a charm. When I arrived home, I was informed that there was some damage to a wall and two door casings. There was an (admittedly) minor indentation on the living room wall, though no damage at all should have occurred. Two of the bedroom doors / door casings were scratched / gouged up when they tried to move in a piece of furniture that would not fit. The paint was scratched off down to the previous layer of paint; in some places, pieces of wood were gouged off of the door casings. Doors were significantly scratched and, in places, the paint was skinned off down to the next layer. I had just painted the woodwork in the home a few months prior, so the attached photos should be viewed in that context. What was most infuriating is not that the damage was done at all. Anyone with any amount of common sense should know not to try to force furniture through a doorway, but I could forgive a move even this bone-headed if they would just respond professionally and responsibly when contacted on the matter. When I reached out to Wildcat Moving and began to discuss the matter with them, not even an apology was forthcoming. They asked for photos of the damage, which I provided. When I spoke with them a second time, they did offer to have a person of their choosing do the repairs / repainting. I indicated that I am not going to allow someone whom I do not choose do work on my home and their response was: "Well, that's how we do it." That's not how I do it. Until this incident, I had good things to say about them. I guess the quality of mover they now employ has dropped and I am unsatisfied with their willingness / method of correcting the damage to my home they did. I will never use this company again.

The 2 (Sean and Clay) explained about insurance coverage and how the per hour rate works e.g. that when they get gas or food en route the clock will stop and restart and also which items would be anchored to the walls of the truck. They knew just how my contents would fit and that there was room to spare. They were careful with everything, not just the glass items. At the unit they planned placement correctly so that it all fit.... no room to spare. Throughout the five + hours they were calm and courteous.

Fantastic job by Adam, Ryan, and Michel. Very professional. Will definitely hire again in the near future.

As easy of a transaction as I could have hoped for. Tory S, Colton, and Andy came out and loaded us up. Couldn't have asked for a better working, faster, or professional crew to pack us up! Great work and will definitely use again.

Movers were lazy and pushed and shoved too much. Torn linoleum flooring in laundry room. Movers admitted to the damage. Managers at Wildcat Moving told me "this happens all the time and we typically deny the damage claim". After I wrote a complaint with the BBB, they called me back and offered to mail a check for $150 IF I withdrew the complaint with BBB so they cold keep their A+ rating. I only agreed to this to get the floor replaced. Still does not make it right. It appalls me that this resolution is acceptable with the BBB, but apparently it is as they also called me to discuss the resolution.

They did a wonderful job. What I most appreciated was their willingness to go the extra mile. They helped position a heavy table top for reassembly and moved a work bench to the barn. They even checked with us before they left to make sure there was not anything else we needed. Ryan R and Adam are a good team.

Jonathan B. and Ryan O. were great and moved all my stuff before the two hour minimum and helped set things up a little inside too. Will hire every time I move.

Sean and Lecholas with Wildcat moving exceeded my expectations with my recent move. These two young men are hardworking individuals as was demonstrated by moving two truckloads of heavy furniture single-handed. The moved took almost ten hours and with the exception of lunch, these gentlemen never stopped. They arrived on time, were courteous and conducted themselves in professional manner. I would not hesitate to use this company again and would recommend that you ask for Sean and Lecholas.

The Wildcat Moving crew members, Adam and Christian, were on time, worked steadily, and did a great job. They handled antique furniture with care, cheerfully handled large, awkward and heavy pieces. Overall, an efficient and pleasant process. I would definitely use Wildcat Moving again.

It went great. William H. and Ryan O. were professional and friendly. They arrived early and worked hard. They were done unloading the container in under the minimum time so they helped moved other heavy furniture out of a basement. I have lived in five states since college and lost count on number of moves. I have never had a good experience hiring movers before Wildcat Moving.
