Description of Work: They were supposed to cut down a large oak tree, but ended up only cuttig the limbs off and never came back for the main part of the tree.

Description of Work: His 2-day job turned into 2 wks. He showed up with nothing but a chain saw to remove approx. 35-40 trees. He had 1-2 helpers and they hauled off all the brush - didn't mulch anything. His truck broke down, equipment failed or he didn't show up as promised. When the time came to grind up the stumps, he said he couldn't get a stump grinder and offered to deduct a couple hundred dollars from the total amount due. I offered $1,000 and the balance to be paid when he finished the job. The next day he showed up with a grinder and worked half a day on Sun. and didn't come back until Tues. to finish. Afterwards we found a number of stumps that weren't ground out and now that some of the sawdust is settling down, he also left large stumps where he only ground out the middle portion. He had one excuse after another. He might be okay taking down a couple of trees but this job was way beyond his capabilities. He counted the trees and gave us a flat-rate of $3400. to remove the trees and grind the stumps. Then he complained because he said it was a bigger job than expected. I told him he counted the trees, we didn't hide them until after the contract was signed, so he knew exactly what he was getting into.

Description of Work: Removed a 30+ foot river birch that had grown into both our property and the neighbors property.

Description of Work: He came to cut 4 trees. I gave him the check because I would not be there when he was done. He dropped the 2 easy trees. He said the 2 trees he needed to climb were too wet and he would return when they were dry. He never did come back.

Description of Work: They trimmed a tall maple tree that had severe damage in winter storms and cleaned up the huge amount of wood. The tree now looks healthy and safe. They dropped the limbs down and were very careful and managed to avoid damage to any of my flower beds in the area which is amazing considering how much of the tree had to be removed. I highly recommend this company They were also very informative about other questions and future actions that will be needed and I will be using them again.

Description of Work: They removed old dead tree from front yard. Tree was very large and very tall and was effectively cut down and carted off without mishap.Debris was removed from lawn fairly well but some remained on walk and driveway. Outfit does not have stump grinder but will recommend such a service.

Description of Work: We needed to have several large trees trimmed and also a smaller one cut down. I had gotten three estimates and this company gave us the best one. They spent a lot of time trimming and did a really good job. This was a family operation and everyone seemed trustworthy.
