Mr. Fitzgerald was very professional and thorough. He was informative about the process and everything was spotlessly clean when he was finished. He came back several days later and went over some thin and missed spots and did not want to be paid until we were completely satisfied with the completed project. Scott is a very pleasant person with whom to do business. We would definitely use his services again and highly recommend him for this type of work.

He does all his own work because he takes great pride in it, so it took some time for him to get around to finish the job. But he stayed in communication and we were not in a time crunch, so we were happy to wait to get the service we needed. He will not take payment until he knows you are satisfied with the results- and he was more critical than I was.

We were very happy with Scott and the work he performed. He power washed our deck and stairs and then helped us choose the best sealing product for our deck. He worked with our schedule/needs for beginning the work and was very responsive to questions. He was truly dedicated to providing us with quality work. It is nice to see someone who has so much pride in their work and goes more than the extra mile for their customer. We will definitely contact him next year for more work at our home.

It went great. Scott came out quickly when called to provide an estimate. He was able to start the job about when he estimated. The work was spread over three days, and appears to be very well done. I am very pleased with the results.

I received four quotations for the job all of which were competitive. Scott offered a few unsolicited extras such as power washing my driveway and siding. He also provided pricing with stain or owner provided, which was my preference. Of course he had a backlog, but once started he completed the job in two days, but returned a few days later to inspect and touch-up any missed areas, which were few. An overall outstanding experience from a very conscientious owner/operator.

Scott did a great job on all points. From pressure washing deck, removing old stain, replacing bad boards, strengthening trellis, and painting new solid color. He works hard and I would recommend him. A+ experience and provider.

Project went very well, met his projected schedule, protected shrubs, bushes and plantings under and around the deck. Stain is very good and appears very durable.

I am writing this review a lot later than I had intended but wanted other people to know this Spring season, about Top Seal and the awesome job Scott did on our decks.These decks were built over 5 years ago and had never been sealed. He put two coats on decks , latticework and undersides of top deck. He even came back and put third coat on some areas without our asking. He worked long hours until Job was completed. He also did some extra things that we asked. We paid him extra for these tasks but not because he asked. He never swayed from his original quote. He is a very nice man and does quality work. You will not be disappointed if you hire him for your needs. Our neighbor also had him to do his deck and is thrilled with the results. We will definetly call him when the need arises again...

Scott was very pleasant to talk to and was very professional. He was busy and was obviously in demand. We did wait for about 6 weeks to get started. It had also been raining quite a bit and that added to the wait time. Soon as Scott started the work though, he completed the project quickly and did a great job. Apparently, one of our boards on our stairs had started rotting. Scott didn't see it when he gave an estimate. A part of it broke off while he was going up and down the stairs. He immediately said he was going to replace the board for free since he had missed it when he gave us an estimate. He came back after a few days and promptly replaced the board and applied stain to match the rest of the deck and stairs. He also came back another day and did another walk-through after the stain had had time to dry, and did more touch-ups to an already beautifully finished deck. We are very happy with the quality of his work and his professionalism, We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. It was a little pricey, but our deck was in pretty bad shape, with most of our stain stripped down to almost bare wood from wear and tear. It had been 5 years since the deck was last stained. Scott said that the stain he put on should last 5-6 years, maybe more, if we can do a little bit of touch ups here and there. One other great thing about Scott is that he does not ask for money upfront. In fact, he didn't want payment after he had applied the second coat of stain. He wanted to give us time to look over the entire deck after it had time to dry and make sure we were 100% satisfied with his work. He came back for his payment several days later. Overall, A+ experience and provider!

We started using Top Seal owned and run by Scott Fitzgerald when the business first began and have used him ever since. Scott comes out and gives the estimates plus does the work himself. We are very finicky about a job being done well and Scott has never failed to please us. The product he uses is quality and lasts a long time. Not only is the work and product quality, Scott is a nice person who you don't mind having at your home. He is also kind to my dogs.

GREAT! Would highly reccommend. Was able to get started within 2 weeks time and finished everything as quickly as weather permitted. Quality of work and stain is great.

Scott met with us and offered suggestions when we asked. His price was very reasonable considering the magnitude of the job. He was willing to work with us on the timing of the job and went above and beyond what was promised. We have very heavy furniture on our deck and he took care of removing and replacing it after the deck was dry. The deck looks great and we would definitely recommend him to others.

I chose this provider because I read excellent reviews on Angie's List, and was not disappointed. Everthing I read about him was true. He was very responsible, punctual and professional. It was obvious that he performed the work with great pride and interest in quality. He finished the job in a reasonable amount of tme...one day for power-washing and 1 1/2 days for staining. Then, he came back a week later, as promised, to chop up and dispose of old deck boards and shrubbery. The fence and deck, although many years old, looks practically new. My wife and I are delighted with the way they look.

Scott, the owner of Top Seal, Inc., was very prompt in returning my call and very professional in all his dealings. He came to my house, assessed the deck and made the proper recommendations. The alacrity with which he comported himself was impressive and commendable, a rarity nowadays! He finished the entire job himself with the utmost care, meticulousness and attentiveness that were certainly apparent with the final outcome. I will have him return every 2-3 years to redo my deck to maintain its longevity and allure.
