TOP FLOORS

We ended up having problems with chattering on the floor caused by another contractor and it had to be redone 3 times. During this time I wasn't sure what to do about the problem. I explained the situation to Chester and he took the effort to come look at my floors and offer his opinion even though we did not have him do the work. He was very professional and I appreciate that he was willing to take the time even though he did not have our business. That speaks a lot about his character. I will hire him next time.

A quality job was done, I have nothing bad to say about Top Floors. The floors look beautiful! My house was empty at the time, I am sure that made things simpler and possibly cheaper. Price was very reasonable.

When the floors in our 1926 American Foursquare needed refinishing, we contracted with Chester Crowley, the owner of Top Floors, who was very responsive to our needs and timelines. We planned to go on our vacation while he did the work, and he was able to get the job done during the week we were out of town. As part of the job, Chester had to replace some previous repair work that had been covered by linoleum for many years, and he did an excellent job of weaving the new boards in with the old. The house we live in had a fire back in 1963, and some of the flooring showed burn marks, which Chester uncovered when he was sanding the floors. None of the marks affected the strength or stability of the floor, however. He sent us photos of the burn marks, and asked us whether we wanted to replace the boards. We chose to keep them as a record of the history of the house, and now we are very glad we were given that decision to make because the floors look awesome!

Arrived on schedule, moved furniture did job and finished on schedule. Very professional.

Chester and his crew did a fantastic job in our house. They sanded the exhisting maple floors in our kitchen and FR, then extended new maple flooring into our DR. They also worked in new wood into our kitchen where cabinets had been prior to gutting. They did a great job toothing in this new wood and you cannot tell where this was done. The new maple flooring is beautiful, nicer than what was put in originally, yet matches the exhising floor perfectly. All the guys who work with Chester are very professional and well-mannered. I can't be sure about the cost of service as this job was subcontracted as part of a larger renovation. Can't say enough good things about this company. We plan to have them back to do our LR.

Chester gave a very fair price and quote within 4 hours of my initial call. He was very responsive and flexible even with other work going on at house. He did a great job and the floors looked incredible. He was very easy to work with. It was a great value overall.

The process was seamless from start to finish. What stands out in my mind, besides my beautiful new floors, is the fact that Chester answered his phone every time I called. I only had to leave a message once, and he returned the call within minutes. The whole process took 4 days, they were on time each morning and completed each days work exactly as planned. We couldn't be happier with the end result.

Top Floors did work for a friend of ours who was very pleased. We called them for an estimate and were very impressed with Chester. He was knowledgeable, returned phone calls promptly and showed up for the appointment on time, His price was reasonable...we had done some work and had an idea of competitive pricing. They scheduled the job, showed up on time, spent 7 days on the job and when they were finished the house was in good condition and the floors are gorgeous. We would strongly recommend this company. Chester and Matt were very polite and professional and it was obvious they knew what they were doing. Do not know of any way the experience could have been improved.
