After waiting a week for an estimate after my first call with no response, I called again and made an appointment. They actually came out on a Sunday afternoon to accommodate my out-of-state travel schedule. The work was scheduled for two days later and was completed on that day to our full satisfaction. The trimming was very well done and not unsightly at all; the shapes of the trees were respected. Everything was cleaned up well; no damage to the lawn. I plan to call on them again. The only hitch was that when I received the bill it was more than the total of the estimate. Yet, when I looked at the individual estimate amount per job they matched. I found that the total line provided on the estimate was incorrectly added. I do not believe this was intentional. I remember that as we were walking the yard doing the estimate he had no calculator. Since I made my decision to hire them based on the cost for each job and I believe the price was quite fair, I paid the bill as submitted without complaint.

His name is David Lawyer and we have used him several times. He is very knowledgeable about trees and all of the associated things that go with that, such as how the roots affect the lawn and what kinds of fertilizers to use and kinds of trees. He has got a very good crew that he works with. He is very efficient and uses the right equipment. He is personable. I think that he has got a lot of integrity and he is quite straightforward in his dealings. He quotes you a price and sticks with it. He ran into some issues with the tree that I could tell were costing him a little more but he did not change his price. That is why we have used him on more than one occasion. We would definitely use him again. We started using him and liked him and I haven't compared prices. I don't know how he compares price-wise but I guess it is okay. The quality of the work is good and he cleans up after himself. He does what he says he is going to do. We will call him and then won't hear from him for a couple of days but he is a very hardworking guy and I know why he does this, but he always responds. He is just sometimes slow on the response and it is not that he doesn't. He says he will be here and sometimes he is in early or something. He is highly professional and really knows his stuff.
