The Gutter Snipe

.Very poor communication. I called him and he told me he would look at my gutter by the end of the week. I never heard from him that week. I followed up early the next week and he gave no explanation for not coming by the previous week, and said he would be there the next day, Tuesday. I waited all week and did not hear from him. I left a message for him on Friday. He called the next Monday, stating that he had, in fact, come by to check out the gutter, and that he did not appreciate me hiring someone else to do the work without letting him know. When I explained to him that no work had been done by anyone else, he then stated he must have gone to the wrong house. All in all, a very unsatisfactory experience due to lack of communication. We did not proceed any further.

We called them . They called right back we made an appointment . Lucien showed up cleaned gutters blew off roof ,renailed loose nails,blew off driveway and deck. Finished quickly and was very pleasant. I recommend them, will use them again.

Came by to quote within less than a week, work completed 2 weeks later. Quick install, looks great. Took the old gutter/downspout away. Thrilled.

Lucien, has been in this business for a long time he knows what he is doing. He is reliable, shows up and does a great job. In fact many times Lucien has come when we were not here with our permission, done the work, and left the bill for us to pay later. We have used his service in Lexington and Georgetown and when we did a roof replacement he installed new gutters too and fixed a problem we had had with the original gutters.

He came the day after I called him, got immediately to work and did a great job. I just recommended him to a friend!

I called on 4/23/ 2015 and they arrived early the next morning. got straight to work , were done within an hour or so and he didn't charge me as much as he quoted on the phone. took $20.00 off because he said the gutters weren't as bad as we thought. Very honest and polite. We will defiantly use this company again for any future work needed . I highly recommend them.

Was told by a freind that this was the best person to contact in Lexington area but called 3 times and never even received a return call... Went with another company!

Responded to my request within a day, came out same day. Excellent job, performed very quickly, and they cleaned up the mess. We've had other companies who left big chunks of wet leaves. This company seems to have perfected a way to do the job very fast and clean up for an extremely reasonable price.

The Gutter Snipe, wow Lucien is a great value. I joined Angie's List just for this gutter repair and I've been extremely happy with how my gutters were fixed. The things I needed: gutter pulling away from house repaired, downspout added so gutter wouldn't get too heavy with ice and pull away again, have a gutter opened up so it could drain on the roof easier, clean out all gutters. I contacted three companies, Lucien's over the phone quote was $145 to clean all gutters on our two story house and repair my gutter. His phone quote was $125 to add a two story downspout and he said he would open up the gutter that wasn't draining properly onto the roof for free while he was there. The other two companies that I met with for a quote came in at $350 and $555 for the gutter repair, downspout install, and opening up a gutter that wasn't draining to the roof properly. Neither of those companies would clean the gutters without installing gutterguards which they both quoted starting at ~$1,000 and going up from there(for 195 linear feet of gutter). So Lucien's total charge of $270 both beat the other two companies price and he did more work. I will say I was expecting for Lucien to call me after we had agreed on the work to setup a time. Instead he just showed up, did all the work, picked the color of the downspout and left a bill in my mailbox when I wasn't there. I didn't actually know anything had been done until I picked up the mail and saw the bill. The work was perfect and the color match on the gutter was perfect, so while maybe a little odd I would definitely use Lucien again.

Fast, efficient, pleasant demeanor.

It's such a pleasure to write a review about a guy like this. I left him a message yesterday afternoon, and he called me today around mid-day, apologetic for not having called even sooner. Imagine. He said he'd come by either late today or tomorrow. He showed up today around 3pm. Now that's quick by any standards. He explained that there was no need whatsoever to replace the gutter, and he proceeded to make the necessary adjustments so that the gutter now hangs correctly and more securely. One and done. Lucien Moody is a pleasant, friendly guy who shows up prepared to perform most services on the spot, and he gets it done quickly, but completely. He's honest and very reasonable. A week or so back I had somebody else here trying to sell me a completely new gutter for ten times as much, so this fellow saved me plenty, and there's a word for that. It's called "integrity". I highly recommend The Gutter Snipe with complete confidence.

Very friendly and easy to deal with. Cleaned out all of the gutters and downspouts and cleaned up the roof, deck and walk way once they were finished.

Have tried to contact the Gutter Snipe 4 different times to schedule an estimate. Have never received a reply from them. Left 3 phone messages that were never returned. Then I saw another review on Angies List saying they had the same experience but that an email was promptly answered. I emailed them over 1 week ago and still have never received any reply!!

Very prompt response, it rained today and gutters seemed to be flowing well. I would recommend to others.

Well! Punctual and efficient, no mess left behind

Very professional and I think the price was reasonable. He was a little late arriving but reduced the price. I was pleased with the service that we had him come back the next year to clear the gutters.

Service was great. They showed up when promised and finished the job in the same day.

Did a great job of being on time, cleaning the gutters, removing debris and provided helpful recommendation on gutter guards that previous owner had employed on downspouts.

Fine! Ususally Lucian comes himself, but this time he had 2 men do the cleaning. It was fast and efficient. No complaints.

Accidentally overpaid on one visit. When I called he said he would come back for another visit. Never showed. A few months later after water was cascading out of my gutters I called and he said he would take care of it but was out if town and that he could send two other guys to do it and he would pay. Next call he told me it would be $75 and that the extra visit was already completed. What choice did I have but pay?

Provided excellent service including accurate quote, timely service, professional demeanor and quality workmanship. Two other gutter companies tried to sell us all new gutters at a cost of between $3000 and $6000! Guttersnipe told us we really didn't need them and that screens would do the job just fine. It is hard to come by truly honest business people these days. We highly recommend Guttersnipe!
