We had to do this in a phased approach due to the expense. We did approx. 5-10 window at a time. The blinds were good quality and once someone to the house to install it was god work. The challenge is getting someone to answer the phone, have any relevant information or call you back. I constantly had to follow up even after leaving messages. I guess they are just too busy and don't need the business.

I gave them the measurements of the drapery panels and the 3 pillows. They gave me a quote for the work order and the yardage needed for the work order. I supplied them with the fabric - as their quote for the same fabric was substantially higher than other suppliers. They had all fabric in house and we had a written work order on August 7th. They told me the order would be ready for pick-up on August 27th. That date arrived and I was told next week - next week arrived and I was told next week. On Friday of that week, September 6th., I was told the order will definitely be ready for pick-up on Tuesday, September, 10th. On Tuesday, September 10th., I received an email from Blinds Man telling me they needed 3 more yards of fabric to do the drapery panels. I went into the store to discuss the problem. Not one single item of the work order was completed.....only two linings for the drapery panels had even been cut. It was very obvious to me this was a very poorly managed business. I left with all of my fabric - took it down the street to a very helpful business who gave me a completion date that I am confident will be honored. P.S. They told me I DID NOT need 3 more yards of fabric to do the order.

"We apologize for the delays and in-completion in [member name removed] work. We have one fabricator in the workroom and cannot always foresee delays. We were in communication with the customer and were fitting her into an already very busy schedule. The actual project only took about a day to complete and would have been available for pick-up had we realized there was not enough material. We agree our price was substantially higher than the price the customer could purchase it for and recommended she bring the material to us rather than purchasing it from our company. We apologize for the customers delays and frustrations. We are sorry a solution could not be agreed upon by [member name removed] and our company."

They estimated that they could get the custom-made blinds and seat cushion to me in 6 weeks. That timeframe was ok with me. They are a small business and six weeks seemed reasonable for a custom order. After 6 weeks, I hadn't heard from them, so I visited their shop and they told me why my order had been delayed and assured me that they were working on my order. Even after repeated calls, I never got a firm date for the completion and installation of the blinds. At one point they told me that my order was completed but they didn't give me an delivery/installation date. Finally, I went into the shop. I saw that they had completed the window seat, but had only started on the blinds. They were no where near completion. I was told that they'd work all night to finish my order. They did finish it that week and installed the order the next week. The blinds and cushionand are nice, they made adjustments to them when the blinds and cushion didn't exactly fit the window. Considering that this was a custom order, I would have expected them to at least tell me when they experienced delays and then give me a solid completion date. Why tell me the blinds were finished when they weren't? I don't feel that I can rely on them so I won't be doing any future business with them.

The service was okay overall. He dropped the materials on my hardwood floor, putting a knick in the floor. When I told him about this he denied doing it. Otherwise, the blinds were good.

The service went very well overall. They were very willing to work with us on any requests that we had. They had a creative approach to the situation we asked them to address, and were very good to work with overall! Because they got backed up on the amount of work they had, they subbed out a small portion of the job. The sub made a mess of things, and what really impressed me about the Blinds Man is that they stood behind what they agreed to take on, even the items that the sub was to do. They really bent over backwards to get everything right and to our satisfaction. We were very pleased overall!

The service was very good overall. They measured then ordered them and had them made elsewhere, so there was six-week wait until they installed the actual shutters. They came out when we really had some iciness. I've enjoyed the shutters!

Often Tami and Courtney stay after hours to accommodate busy schedules and are always up front about their calendars. Tami was willing to make corrections to the three pillows with which you were not pleased. Based on your initial complaint and subsequent communications Tami felt that she would not be able to make you happy. She apologized for not meeting your expectations on this project and refunded your money, gave you pillow forms, lining and other supplies used to make four pillows and a comforter that you were happy with. We are sending you a check for $149.50, in addition to the refund on your deposit already received, and hope you find someone to do your work as well as what has been done on many other occasions."

Overall, the job went great. I actually had the fabric and so, with a couple of suggestions, they accommodated my special needs for the drapes. They managed the deal with the fabric that I had as it was not possible to get anymore. They were a little expensive
