Exceptional very thorough

Carlo was extremely detailed in his inspection. He took the time to take pictures and video to support his written report- which we received within 24 hours. He also walked through the home with us to show everything he addressed in his report.

My wife and I appreciated the attention to detail that Carlo of Talon Home Inspections provided during the inspection of the home. He really helped us to make knowledgeable requests to the seller. He also made many suggestions that would help us to maintain the home in order to keep it in good shape.

The home inspection was very thorough. The inspector seemed well versed in older homes as well as current code guidelines. He was very responsive to our concerns. The inspection report was beyond what we expected. He gave detailed description of homes condition good or bad with photos to illustrate concern. There were also diagrams illustrating what can done to fix or repair concern.

Carlo did a wonderful job of inspecting the home. We gave us a detailed walk through of the house and addressed everything that he discovered. He provided us with a detailed report, pictures, and video of his findings. He was very professional and explained in detail so that we had a good understanding of what the problems were. Being out of state, I was unable to accompany Carlo during the inspection. He over compensated for this by providing additional photos in his report so I could view all potential issues. He gave us a verbal briefing immediately following his inspection and was available to answer all my follow-up questions via phone. His written report was thorough and informative. His knowledge of applicable codes is up to date. His ability to explain potential issues was superior, and he takes steps to identify what issues need to be addressed before occupancy. I have no hesitation recommending Carlo to those who need home inspection services.

Talon Home Inspections is a top notch provider of home inspection services. Carlo, the owner, is a great person to work with. He's prompt, knowledgeable and takes the time necessary to explain what is great and not so great about a home before you buy it.

The inspection was more than I anticipated. The inspection took Carlo five hours to complete. After his inspection, he spent an additional one and a half hours with me going over the details of his findings. He explained that he did not have his formal report complete, but he would share everything he remembered. The amazing thing is he remembered about 95% of everything in the report. He inspected the house from the basement to the roof. He also spent time looking over the barn that is also on the property. He made videos and pictures of everything he inspected. The report included the picture and videos as attachments. The report included the area inspected, how the area is supposed to look and perform, and instructions on how to fix any problems with the area. The report could be used by me as a tool to help fix problem areas. Carla also provided a book that he said is used for general home maintenance and a log for repairs and maintenance. The current home owner received a great tool that he can use to fix his house and make it more marketable. The homeowner also could not debate any of the findings. I am not from the Lexington area and did not know anyone to refer me to a home inspector. I used google and read reviews of the service provided by home inspectors in the area. I am glad I picked Talon Home Inspectors. I would recommend Carlo to anyone who asks. He also keeps it simple and explains things well.

The owner, Carlo, performed the inspection and we were totally happy with his work. He was thorough and succinct in summarizing the main points for us as he walked us through the house. I also very much appreciated the comprehensive report with pictures and lists of things to be done. This inspection greatly influenced our decision to not buy the property. I must add that Carlo made every effort to get our inspection and report done within the short time frame the homeowner specified. I would highly recommend Talon Home Inspections. (Note: the inspection was performed at a property for sale, not at our home address. I could not find a way to make that property show up as the place where the work was "performed".)
