Our technician Thomas arrived on time, was very friendly, and listened carefully to all the symptoms I had to report, which helped him very quickly narrow the problem down to a problem with the outdoor unit. He had me start the system while he observed the outside unit, and he quickly found two problem areas that appeared to be electrical shorts, which he repaired to get the system working again. He inspected the rest of the unit and gave us the report that everything was otherwise in good working order. He also gave us some information about the age of the unit and what to expect as it nears the end of its life, as well as his opinion of a good threshold for repair costs before replacing the unit. Overall, Thomas was very friendly, attentive, informative, and very quick to identify and repair the problem. He was even quiet when he came in for the final report to avoid disturbing our baby. A very good experience with a reasonable cost, and I'll definitely call them again.

The serivce guy Tom came the next day and examined the system. The system is around 12 years old so i was worried that it would need replacing. Tom was very knowledgeable, he explained what was wrong and showed me the probelm with the unit. I requested a price for the repair and to replace the unit, he gave me both prices on the spot with no pressure and answered all of my questions. in the end i decided for the repair so they ordered the part and fitted it the next day. No pressure to get me to buy a new system just nice honest people and a fair price.I would definitley recommend this company,

Excellent job! It would have been easier for him to replace part (and more expensive for me), but he was able to clean it. He charged me only for cleaning and checking the unit.. He was prompt,,efficient , and friendly.. The office receptionist was very helpful and I will certainly be using Stewart's again.

Overall great experience. Technician was right on time and perfomed service as requested. Patiently answered all questions/concerns and did not try to sell me any bologna. Satisfied customer!

I called for an appt. to get an estimate for replacementof furnace and a/c units. They were not willing to come to my home after 5 PM. I requested it be after I got off work during the week. This is why I give them an Auto Fail rating.

I've been a Stewart customer for 3 years now with two different homes. At one home, we had our HVAC system (heat pump and blower) replaced with a new Armana system. I had quoted 2 other companies and Stewart by far (by several hundreds of dollars) was the most competitive, in addition to being the most friendly. A few weeks after the heat pump was replaced, I noticed that it occasionally had issues restarting (it was during the winter so the heat was kicking in). Stewart sent Freddie over right away to check it out. They ended up replacing the heat pump (under warranty) quickly and seamlessly. I also needed a maintenance checkup at a house we were selling. I had to cancel and reschedule several times due to issues with electric being shut down at the house. Freddie and J were extremely understanding and accommodating through this process. Lastly, the AC was not keeping up during the heat wave over the summer a few weeks ago. Freddie came by 4:30pm and thoroughly checked both units (he took ~1:30hours) to make sure he understood the exact issue with the system. Turned out there was too much freon which made the unit freeze up outside. Freddie always takes the time to explain to you in a way you can understand what the problem is and how it should be fixed. Unit has been working perfectly since then. Rarely, do I rave about a company but Stewart is really a gem. Every single person I've interacted with (sales, service, general manager, customer service) has been extremely friendly, helpful, trustworthy and patient. They truly run their business with their customers as top priority. We will need to replace our two units soon (they are 10+ years old) and there is no doubt in my mind that I will go with Stewart at that time.

Excellent. Tom arrived on time and was very professional. Most of all he took his time and answered all of my questions. He explained the furnace operation and adjusted the blower speed for the blower motor to better cool the house. He also looked at a bonus room I have that is not cooled and offered suggestions for making it cooler. Stewart's also has a maintenance agreement which Tom explained and we may purchase as I feel Stewart's is a reputable

Stewart Air Conditioning & Heating service works very efficiently, timely i.e. they show up when they say they would. Price is a bit expensive but did an outstanding job replacing an old heating & AC unit.

I got a good price, and they were professional, prompt, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. They had great customer service.

I LOVE Stewart Air Conditioning and Heating! They have been our saving grace. We paid A LOT of money 2 years ago to have both of our air conditioner and furnace systems replaced. We have since had a dispute with the company who provided and installed the equipment. When we call that company, we are "on a list" and can't schedule service without going through the COO. It's completely humiliating. I found Stewart through a search of Amana dealers. They told me they could honor my warranties, and I have been 100% pleased with their service. The most recent visit from Stewart was because when we would get up in the morning, our downstairs unit would be blowing heat instead of cool air. We told them that something similar had happened before and the other company had replaced a switch. The service person immediately caught on that it was really the compressor, although he tried to replace the switch to give us some immediate relief. The switch didn't work, and Stewart was able to get Amana to agree to a whole new unit on the outside of our house. They ordered the unit on a Friday afternoon and installed it on Tuesday morning. We now have cool air in our downstairs!! I cannot even describe how nice and courteous their employees are, and dealing with the people in their office is a breath of fresh air. They all clearly love their jobs and that translates into great service. They are a family owned company and take pride in their product. I will continue to use Stewart and I'm SO happy I found them!!

My experience was great. That's why I keep going back to them. I've used them for a while now. The other year, I tried somebody else, and I was extremely unhappy.

Stewart's came and serviced my heating unit. They called me before they came and were very prompt. They assessed my unit quickly and correctly identified the problem. I had a motor out and it took them an hour to fix it. They were up front with the price and very courteous. When I presented my $10.00 off coupon from Angies list the repairman let me know of the $20.00 off coupon on their website which I found to be very generous. I would recommend Stewart's to anyone and I was very pleased with my results. :)

Used a coupon to request a "heating system checkup" Wonderful communication, exceptionally professional and pleasant. Technician was on time and extremely polite. He explained what he was doing as he did it, and why. I was curious to learn more about how my heat pump functioned, and he was glad to explain in terms I could understand. I am already planning to have them return in a few months to do the same check on the A/C! Highly recommended.

I have a 2000 sq. ft. one-level home with two packaged units, and it was 58 degrees in my bedroom when I woke up this morning (thermostat set on emergency heat at 65 degrees) despite Stewarts' assertations that the units are working as they should. I have left a message for them to come out and make this right--we'll see what happens. I will update as the story progresses. The people I've worked with have always been very nice and professional, but if you don't have heat, all the professionalism in the world doesn't matter. If I don't get some real answers this time, I'm switching to another company. If Stewarts makes this right, I will give them an A rating, but until then, I am incredibly dissatisfied.

Arrived on time. Quickly identifed the problem. Had the parts on his truck. Repaired and cleaned up.

Great. After mixed results with several HVAC companies in the area, we have settled on Stewart. Their estimate was the most reasonable. They even beat a competitor who had quoted more on a less efficient unit. People who answer the phones at the office, the man who estimated the work and the installers were all professional. The installers arrived as promised at 9:00 and took about 5 hours to remove the old system an install the new system. The new system is quieter and more energy efficient. Only small hitch was that the installer initially balked on doing some necessary rewiring that the estimator had included in the quote, but once I contacted the office, things proceeded as planned. We're making Stewart our permanent HVAC company.

They showed up on the appointed day; an installer and supervisor who got him started. The installer was younger, but factory trained, and seemed to know what he was doing. He worked quickly but carefully and by the end of the day had everything in order, calling in to check with his supervisor a couple of times. The new unit seems cleaner and more effecient, but is a bit noiser. A followup call to their office resulted in the supervisor coming out and making an adjustment to the fan speed, which seemed to help. As to savings in fuel bills, we will have to wait a few months to try and guage that. Their office also offered that there were Federal and State rebates available for this installation, as well as one from Columbia Gas; they not only provided information in this regard, but forms for each, with some of the critical information already penned in. Just up to us to complete the forms and submit, which ultimately may result in up to $1000 in total rebates, which really makes this installation seem like a true bargain. "J" on the phones in the office was pleasant, effecient and helpful, and "Drew" their supervisor, was knowledgeable and saw that the job was finished to our satisfaction. Mike, the installer, while new at installations on his own, will prove to be a real asset to the firm, and we would definitely recommend them to others.

Called Stewart Heating and Air Tuesday morning and they had a tech out to my house in a matter of hours. He diagnosed that issue was the coil in the air handler and discussed the cost and estimated replacement of the part. He took the model number of the unit and check for a parts warranty, which was still good, so I only had to pay for labor costs. We scheduled a time for Friday to replace the part and the tech left. I received a call from Stewart Heating and Air later that day saying they could replace the part the following morning. The next morning another tech came and installed the part, charged the unit, and even repaired some of the insulation for the unit return in just over two hours. My home was cool and comfortable by early afternoon. Both techs were polite, professional and a pleasure to have in your home under the circumstances. From start to finish Stewart Heating and Air fixed the issue with my AC unit in just over 24 hours. You can't ask for anything better than that! This is the second time I have used them and it will be the only company I call for Heating and Air work.

They were great. They worked quickly and efficiently. They got the job done when they said they would. I give them high marks. They have a receptionist, who know what she was doing, answer the phones.

Response to our service call was very quick - a/c quit cooling during heat wave. Also, had some work that needed to be done on the heat pump they fixed at teh same time. The technician was very professional and we were very pleased with the work that was done and the price. Would recommend them to others.

Whole house blower went out. Stewarts was able to come out first thing the next day and confirmed it needed to be replaced and had the part overnighted to install the next day. They were a little late, but not too bad, hence the B rating for punctuality. The part was replaced for $272 and they also added a pound of freon to the A/C unit for $49 per pound. Service call was $59, but they have coupons on their website which gave me a $20 discount. The part was fairly competitively priced, especially with it being over-nighted. We had looked up the price on the internet and it ran generally from $215 to $250 before shipping and tax. Overall, seemed very knowledgeable and would use them again.

Georgetown. I had delayed repair, due to the worry that whole unit had to be replaced, but Stewart was excellent in part they got the job because they could come soon. Once the technician came he was excellent quickly found the issue and had the replacement part on the Van !!!!!

I highly recommend this company for AC service based on my experience yesterday. Central AC systems for upstairs and downstairs were not operating properly. Technician quickly found that compressor on the downstairs unit was shot (after trying to boost and hard start) and needed to be replaced. Tested the upstairs unit which has not been running very cool. Hooked up gauges to the system and saw that head pressure was way too high, but everything else looked good. Said that the condenser coil need to be cleaned, instructed how to do it. I cleaned it myself with the garden hose, turned the unit back on and has been running well since. Very pleasant tech (Michael), very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I gave a lower score on punctuality, but in all fairness, it's 90+ degrees and anybody that has an air conditioner out of service is screaming for help. They were able to get to me the day after I called. They were later than scheduled that day, but I forgive them! Oh, when I first called the company I actually got to talk to someone! Jay is great, she is also very professional and friendly.
