On time, professional, efficient. I have used this company for years and am quite pleased with the service. They explain what they're doing and why. They give advice about how to get the best use out of your system.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a member of their service team at my parents house when I arrived. I was fully expecting a sales pitch to my 75 year old father for a new unit. What I found was the A/C up and running with a replacement motor I had purchased years earlier for my dad. I thought the labor price was a little high given I already had a motor but I have nothing to compare the labor cost. **Update.. The unit started to make a rattling noise about a week after the motor was replaced. My parents left 2 weeks after the repair to visit family out west and haven't been home to use the a/c. I stopped by 8/11 to check on the house and turn on the a/c before they arrived back. When I turned on the a/c, a screeching noise emanated from the unit a bang then nothing. No air flow was coming from the floor register so I turned the thermostat off and went to check the unit. I removed the cover from the unit and found that the blower had come off the motor. I called Stewart Air & Heating and was told they only had a 30 day warranty on work and they would charge me a $59 service call plus what ever fee to place the blower back on the motor. I politely refused the offer and have called another HVAC provider.

My aging furnace went out on a Friday during the very cold winter of 2014 and Stewart Air Conditioning & Heating sent someone out on Saturday to check it. When it was determined that I needed a new furnace, they worked me in on Monday in spite of already having a full schedule that day. The repairman worked in bitterly cold temperatures to install the new furnace in my crawlspace and did a terrific job. My family came home to a warm house and were so grateful for the wonderful customer service. Stewart's also completed the paperwork for me to apply for a $400 rebate from Columbia Gas for buying an energy efficient furnace. I would highly recommend Stewart Heating & Air!

They were great. They could have totally ripped us off for thousands, but told us they didn't need to do anything and to just install a heater in the garage. Very honest! Will use them again if we need this type of service.

I had been without heat for almost a week during the coldest weather Lexington had experienced in many years. Unfortunately, I called another company who gave me the run around and told me my 4 year furnace needed to be replaced. Fortunately I called Stewart Air Conditioning and Heating who were fantastic. They were extremely caring and professional I could not be happier with the service they provided. If only all companies were as ethical as Stewart Air Conditioning and Heating. I highly recommend them.

I'll let you decide after you read my story. My original AC/Heat Pump went out in July of 2012. I just paid the labor and installation extras...$800.00+. The week before Memorial Day Holiday weekend, 2013 the unit stopped working again. I called Stewart's before the holiday. They arrived on approximately 6/3/13. At that time I was informed the compressor locked up again and my 10 year warranty just ran out 5/31/13. "Really like 3 days??" They recommended I replace the entire AC/Heat Pump unit inside and out ($8,000.00). Again....REALLY??? So, after a long discussion they paid for the 2nd compressor (Thanks Stewart's) and I covered the labor. My question...Why did the 1st compressor work 9 years, the 1st replacement compressor lock up in less than 10 months? Poor compressor quality? Poor install of the replacement? Its not that its abused as I do not use the unit that much heat or AC!! I asked the question and got NO answer. Three months later the unit is not working again. This time the start-up capacitor is out and Stewart's replaced it. Early December of 2013 the heat pump compressor system is running so loud, the neighbor could not sleep in his bedroom due to my heat pump noise (bad). The compressor locks up again on about December 18, 2013. This 3rd compressor lasted from June 2013 to Dec 2013. REALLY?? Again?? So, you can determine what the problem is or was. I'm not sure but it cost me a lot of money. I just know I have an American Standard (Trane) that is 10.5 years old, went through 3 replacement compressors in 17 months!! Was it cheap replacement compressors, poor installation of the 1st and second compressors or 3rd compressor?? What?? I gave Stewarts the option to quote a new unit and work with me to figure out what the heck is going on. They neglected to even try and negotiate a fair compromise. So...I went with someone else. I hope you have better luck using this company. I did NOT buy a Trane system either. I informed them I would leave a poor review for them. I still do not understand 3 replacement compressors in 17monts when the original lasted over 9 years. You decide!!

I had water coming from my basement furnace - a small amount but enough to warrant concern. I called Stewarts and made an appointment. They had installed two new furnaces and AC units in my home back in 2009. They arrived on time and diagnosed the problem fairly quickly. The glue to a PVC pipe that vents to the outside of my house had not been properly applied. The technician said if it isn't done properly that the joint would eventually leak. He more or less stated that it wasn't initially applied correctly but since the warrant period had expired I was responsible for the repair. I appreciate the honesty. After four years I'll bite the bullet. The units seem to be in good shape and no other issues with the other furnace or AC Amana units since they were installed. It also helped that I had a $25.00 coupon off the repair ticket.

Would not use again after the experience above.

They were on time & got my furnace working (the pilot had went out). Total bill was $93.00. $59.00 "service call" which apparently only includes them showing up at your house and $34.00 to light the pilot which takes all of about 3 minutes.

Very well. Called that morning and they were there that afternoon. Everyone one of the techs have been so nice.

I had a great experience with them. They setup a time to meet quickly. They were there when expected. They went right to work on the problem. They gave me a lot of options. I chose the lower cost option and they quickly repaired that and they were very professional in their approach. I was very pleased with the experience. I would give them top marks across the board.

We were very impressed with the excellent customer service, from quote, to follow up, to installation. This whole process couldn't have been any easier, and the installation team did a fantastic job, was on time, worked very fast, neat, and were very polite. Have the system in close to a month now and working like a charm. Their quipment (Amana) had the best warranty of any other that we were quoted. We highly recommend Stewart, a very professional, customer oriented company!

I called Tuesday morning, after Memorial Day. Knowing it would be a busy time, I wasn't surprised to get a busy signal. Called back a few more times and eventually got through. The person I spoke with was very professional - asked what I needed, explained their usual process, then said that Stewart's install crew is fully booked for the next four weeks +. Did ask if I was an existing customer, perhaps those with maintenance agreements get to the head of the list. But, I just couldn't wait four weeks, so called someone else and was done in three days.

Heat of the summer, the A/C quit working, we called Stewart Heating & A/C with whom we had past experience, and they replace a burned out sensor, helping us cool off again!!!

Initial site visit was schedule for the day after the initial call. Estimator was prompt, polite, and professional. Turnaround time on the quote was also very fast, received the next day without prompting. The estimator answered all my questions, some of which were fairly technical. I had a very positive experience.

When our heat pump began acting up we had a couple of businesses in for estimates for a replacement. Stewart's offered a better pump for less money so we went with them. The servicemen were prompt, very polite and helpful with all my questions. The new pump is a huge improvement over the old one. I would definitely recommend them again.

estimate on furnace replace...$500 cheaper than fayette heating

Call as I was having problems (I thought) with my heater/heat pump. The lady who set up the appointment was professional and efficient. The appointment was set and the techniction arrived at the appointed time. He was very good and reassured me that all was well with my units.I had visions of having to replace one compressor, but instead found that all was well. hey now our go to HAVAC guys.

I called Stewart Heat and Air for an estimate on replacement of my Furnace and Air Conditioning system. They set up a time for estimate and were very prompt. Freddie Cornett came and gave the estimate and answered any and all of my questions and concerns. I asked him when they could do the job and he said they could start the following morning. Drew and Greg were very punctual and took out the old units and replaced with new system by the end of day. I am very pleased with the job these guys performed. I called them approximately a week later for a minor adjustment with the thermostat and Freddie came immediately and corrected the problem. I just want to say I had several estimates made and Freddie was by far the easiest and most knowledgeable of all I dealt with. I would highly recommend Stewart Heat and Air and I plan on using them in the future.

They were fine. I have a yearly contract with them and I use them all the time. They are very prompt and friendly. I am very happy with them. Everything has been good and I haven't had any problems with them. I've only had minor things fixed by them. I didn't shop their prices hard. I can rely on them. They are professional. They did the work quickly so I had my heat back on. They are very pleasant to deal with on the phone. The guys they send out talk to me on what went wrong so I understood it.

They office called me to setup the appointment. 30 minutes prior to them arriving they called me. That gave me time to drive home from work. The technician arrived and checked our downstairs unit, cleaned it and replaced the filter. He did the same with the upstairs unit. He also when outside and checked the outdoor units. He was done in approx 30-40 minutes. He also called me after he left to make sure the thermostat had been reset to normal heat. He had set it to emergency heat to verify the system.
