After no shows from four other contractors, we were impressed that he responded to our phone call and came to provide an estimate the same day. He and an assistant worked hard during hot weather and completed the project in two days. We are very pleased with the job and plan to use this company again.

The job met my expectations and was completed quickly. Plan on using Sons again on the next home improvement project.

Worst experience for the most part I have had with a contractor. I

I hired Mr. Sons to redo my deck as well as remodel a half bath. The deck was completed in a timely and satisfactory manner. The bathroom on the other hand was a nightmare. The quality of their work was absolutely awful. They were unable to correctly complete the plumbing on the new sink. They were so frustrated that I had to outsource the work to a plumber (Mr. Sons did reimburse me for this) but it was inconvenient. Their drywall work was so awful that I had to have another contractor come in and clean up their terrible work. I made Mr. Sons aware of this but he did not reimburse me for these extra costs and never returned my calls. Their attention to detail was non-existent. Stay away from this company unless you are ok with sub-par work.

Excellent! Work performed in the time frame quoted. Professional, courteous and responsive. Very happy with finished product; extended deck by about 10 additional feet both elevated and flat surface. Love it!

Everything went pretty well. The only place where there was any room for improvement was scheduling things so we could get a definite date/time lined up. We knew that it would be done most likely by today (15mar2019) and were glad to have the repairs done earlier (14mar2019). After the windstorm we had some shingles blow off of a different part of the house and we were satisfied enough to call them back to give us an estimate and get us scheduled for that repair.

I had asked that they replace my existing old street-side mailbox. They got there and looked at it and told me they could repair it instead of replace it and save me a lot of money! And they did! Excellent work and courtious service. They will be my "go-to" handymen going forward.

The pillars were found to actually be damaged, which was not expected. Sons adjusted plans as needed and they worked late into the evening to finish the job. In the morning, I did find that the nail holes were not satisfactorily painted. That was likely not easy to see at night. I notified Sons and they came out to fix it.

It went smoothly, he came Mon-Fri until it was all done! Didn't leave to work other places! Answered my texts and my calls.

He did a great job for us. We had him cut back a lot of brush, trim trees and bushes and haul away. He works quickly and gets it done asap. He also did some inside work when we were in a pinch needing something done soon and he made time to get it done, and didn't charge us an arm and a leg. Very dependable, hardworking, trustworthy and communicates well too....would definitely hire him again.

James is quite a craftsman with creative construction ideas of his own and a willingness to work with an owner to create a dream become reality. I was always able to show him a picture of what I wanted and he was able to build it for me.

The outside Deck was the first work done, the Kitchen started the inside work and each room was worked on/updated as each job was finished. Sons Contruction bid each job individually and preformed each job with professionalism and timing. James Sons and his crew were very knowledgable, pleasant to work with, and comunicated every detail thoroughly. I will continue to have James and his company as my contractor in the future.

I do not remember the price, because I had done other things and we kind of incorporated all of it. Overall it was excellent. I had to call and have the container cleaned up for them to get rid of all the shingles and everything. There were no nails, shingles or anything. They covered the plants. They were very good. They were thorough, in and out. They did very fast, and I was really surprised. They put in paint bars, air vents which I had not had but that what helped. I had seen an advertisement on the internet and seen the name out there and through word of mouth. I mean I was so pleased with their work; they had done most work for me since then. They did a complete redo of the inside of my home. They replaced the tiles, and they did my entire house. They do really good work. They did tile work, and they did my bathroom. They paint, and they repaired my deck. The floor was good but the steps and things like that weren’t, so they redid that. They redid my hardwood floor. I had a wall between the living room and the kitchen and they actually cut out of a part of that wall and made a see through bar between there. They do woodworking and everything, they are very good. The pricing was very good because I had actually checked with some other people beforehand and they had a very competitive price. The quality was excellent. They cleaned up after everything and cleaned every day. They were always there when they said they would be. In fact I planned to use them, there is an addition that I wanted to do on to my deck, but I was kind of waiting until my income tax came in. They also build an outbuilding from scratch and it is very nice. They cleaned up after themselves every day before they left. They are very very clean. Sometimes it was a mess, and I would come home expecting something to do but I really didn’t. They were very thorough. They removed 2 huge palm trees from my mother’s property. They do everything.

The plans of a complete home remodel was the project and started with a new deck. The kitchen was the next project and went so well and smooth the experience was wonderful with no problems at all. The next project was the living room with new paint, crown molding and refinished hardwood floors. When I asked for color ideas in many areas they were there with excellent input and I did choose the colors they recommended on more than one room. The whole experience was very excellent and Sons Construction was very timely in working on every detail of the home. I Love my old/new home and would recommend this company to all!
