The first time a tech came out he determined within 5 minutes that our dryer duct had no air flow and left. He looked at nothing else. We had the line professionally cleaned and much to my dismay the dryer was still over heating. A plumber used a camera to ensure the line was clear and also checked that the dryer was grossly over heating. He smelled something burning and he suspected it was the heating element. The sears tech came out the next day. I updated him on what had been taking place. He turned on his computer and put a thermometer in the dryer. He turned it on and said it was cycling correctly. I told him my clothes were steaming when I took them out. I asked him to touch the dryer and the drum and the duct coil. He informed me "thats where the heat comes out" I informed him that i have been doing laundry for many years and not being able to touch parts of your dryer and smoking clothes are not normal and why was this happening on the last 2 weeks and not the first 4 years I had the dryer. He refused to do anything but look at the computer and the thermometer. I said "obviously we are not going to agree that there is a problem" and he said "obviously not" I have never seen anyone so unprofessional t and condescending that absolutely refused to listen to the customer not bother even looking at anything but a computer screen. This is a repair company.?The problem is the model of dryer I have is not a model that a lot of repair people will work on. I will NEVER call these people again and will probably not shop in their store again. And I'm likely to have to buy a new dryer!
