Ron Wood's Custom Paint and Design

Mr Wood began by starting over a month after the date he gave us, always with multiple excuses for being late. His work initially, the exterior and interior painting, seemed to be done reasonably well. The masonry work was a disaster. The job was done poorly and never finished. At the end he played the con man very well constantly asking for advances because someone was ill in his family, he had legal and mortgage difficultites, etc. Eventually he obtained his full payment and left with the job unfinished. From time to time over the next 8 months he would arrive at the house or call on us to tell us he would be there to finnish on a specific date. He would never show up for these dates. I have just had a masonry man give us another opinion and estimate. He said the masonry job was the worst he had ever seen. It will cost me $1700 more to fix what Mr. Woods ruined. I dread to think how much of his other work is going to fall apart long before its time. I am now aware this is not an isolated case. He has done the same to at least 3 other people in my subdivision, The Woods. Do not under any circumstances hire this man to do any work is my advice. If you do hire him by accident do not under any circumstances pay him fully before the job is completely done.
