Reliable Residential Roofing

We are in the middle of the work, they have been far, and done great. I had no reason to expect that they will be anything less than A. I had been pleased of what they did. They must do the same as is we have looked exactly, have done what we have said they would do, competitively priced, and had done a good presentation and worth it. That stands out and had done work they agreed to do. They have shown up when they were supposed to and done what they were supposed to do. They were very professional and responsive.

They were very nice but they fixed my roof 3 times and it still leaks so it's not too good. They really didn't know the problem. The problem since I found out is that you can't repair Spanish tile with the flashing of tin. It needs to be replaced. But they had ever suggested replacing so I went to someone else. When I called them, they said I can put a new roof on but they should have told me that. I didn't think they were as knowledgeable as they could be. They take days to respond. They were fairly reasonably priced. They weren't cheap. I would use them on another type of roof because I think they're honest.

Experience was generally positive. Not all issues were resolved, but that isn't a reflection on the work performed. Rather, it reflects that the contractor was unable to fully diagnose all problems.

Problem not fixed the first time they came out. However, they continued to try fixing the problems until they got it right.

After previous experience with home improvement companies, I was actually very impressed at how well the experience went. I have found that it is very difficult to find anyone these days having the same work ethic as my parents generation.

Overall, it went very well and we were more than pleased with the work. We were impressed with the promptness and thoroughness of the estimate. we had some minor difficulties getting in touch with the company to schedule the repairs. When they were done, there was a small defect in the soldering which was repaired completely and quickly when they were notified. We will definitely use Reliable again and have already recommended the company to our friends and neighbors.

The water intrusion problem was completely solved.

They thoroughly fixed several problems that other roofers had attempted. I will certainly call them next time I need roofing or guttering help ... very professional, long-term employees.

They did an excellent job. They're reliable, they guarantee their work.

They did a good job. They were very responsive. They gave me the right color stuff. They did it carefully. They did it all well and it all works. The performance was given quickly and promptly.

Finished in 1 day. They repaired a couple of places where wood was rooted and cleaned-up completely when finished. Excellent job.

They took it all off and put the new one on. We had a bunch of contractors come out and we wanted to do metal sheeting but everyone was too expensive. We actually had some issues with some people that gave us the estimates. We had a bunch of them. A person came out for Reliable Residential Roofing and Guttering Systems and we seemed to like him very well. So, we went ahead with him. It was not because of the cost but it was because we liked him as he wasn't the cheapest. The only problem that I had with them was that they told us it would be a week or two before they would be able to get to us. We were headed three hours away and we were not there. They called and told us that they were ripping our roof off right then. We had dogs that needed to be taken care of. My husband had to rush all the way back down here. When he got here, they had not cleaned up very well. It was an okay experience and it wasn't my best experience. They finished it very quickly. I don't think that we would go with them again if we had to do that. They showed up very quickly but not when I wanted them to. We had one roofing contractor that gave us an estimate and we decided to not go with them. I got knocked on the door and there were people on my roof getting ready to rip my roof off as they had mistaken on the address. If we had not been here then they would have ripped our roof off. It was a bad situation and I was glad that we were home.

I called, got an appointment, then visited Reliable to select the color and describe the installation. The work was done well and promptly.

Receptionist is very sarcastic and rude AND they did work on an unscheduled day 4 days before schedule when we were NOT advised and were not in town - - - The work never has been done. When we called for an estimate, we were just given a verbal estimate over the phone. As for start time - we had to wait 2 to 3 weeks for our start date. Lady who answered was very rude, and made comments about the weather and didn't I know it was raining or somethin like that. The guys may be great - I wouldn't know, however because the work was never done. I'm going to call for other estimates at this point.

They did a great job. They were neat, they got here when they were supposed to, and we were very pleased. The price was also very good.

The roof does not leak now; however, despite knowing that drainage from this flat roof was a serious problem, they lowered the roof surface so that it does not drain until it has 2-3 inches of standing water (which never drains). After negotiating with the company, they will install a drain in the center of the roof and run the drainpipe through the garage, for another $480. This latter work has not yet been done due to the recent weather. I feel that they should have been able to anticipate this problem because I discussed it with the estimator and the crew chief. The problem may be one of communication. If I had known that they intended to lower the roof, I would have objected and asked for a different approach. With this caveat about communication, I would use the company again. (They re-roofed another house of mine about 15 years ago and the job was fine, if somewhat pricey.)

It didn't! They never sent the estimate after coming weeks after I called them to do an estimate.

Estimate was done promptly. Work was started, as promised. Had to change the size of garage gutter due to a warped roof line. Estimate was increased slightly and work performed within a week. Had to send a note to remind them to pick up the debris (old guttering) left on the side of the house. Still a good company to work with. Will use again.

It was fine. They completed the job successfully.

I didn't use them because the price was astronomical. They quoted me a price of $1300 for 5 inch seamless gutters with down spouts. I appreciate the fact that they went out and took an estimate. Other than that I left contact with them. I actually had the project done for $530. Of course they weren't the highest because I did receive one quote for $1800. Their prices are too high. I never actually met them. Their punctuality as far as getting the quote, was fast. Their professionalism here was not how they did the job, but my interaction was just getting a quote. They took it; they sent it to me by mail which was very good.

I had damage to my roof and siding from a hail storm. The siding on the entire house was replaced by one of their contracting companies. Reliable did the roof. Both of the experiences went well.

It went extremly well. They came twice and made sure it was corrected

Reliable gave and estimate, and then once I agreed, I signed the proposal and drove to their office and dropped it off since I had on ongoing leak. I never heard back from them in two weeks. So, I called and called and tried to leave a message. Their voice mail would be full. I finally left several messages with no response. I then left a message for the owner after about a month. Then the following day I received a call. They advised that they had been out and repaired the roof per the estimate. They were supposed to call me so that I could meet them out there. Next time it rained it continued to leak. Same scenario, call, call, leave message, leave message, call I am on the list. Basically, prioritize your work, the hail damage roof will be there. If you have a leaker, tend to them first. Apparently, they came out again since I received an invoice in the mail.

Our gutters needed to be replaced, as did some rotting soffit and fascia board. We got several estimates, and chose Reliable. They sent two separate crews to do the work: 1 for the wood, and 1 for the gutters. We were very displeased with the lack of professionalism with the wood replacement. Several pieces were left unfastened and hanging off the house - we called repeatedly and were told someone would be out, but no one ever showed up. We finally ended up getting in touch with a higher up, who came out and was very rude; he was angry that we were costing him time and money to fix what his employees didn't. The gutter installation went smoothly, however, no problems there. About a week after the job was completed, we received a bill that included a $100 overcharge for a section of soffit that ended up not needing to be replaced. After explaining this, they sent someone out to verify it, and the bill was adjusted.
