Redding Home Remodeling

Jared and his crew did a fantastic job. They showed when they said they would and produced really high-quality work. The hiccups were extremely minor and immediately resolved with no back and forth or additional costs. I would definitely hire again and recommend to any friends or family.

Our first experience with Redding's Home Remodeling was a good size drywall job (almost the entire lower level of our home). Jarred and his crew did an excellent job on the drywall. That is a job that is best done by a professional, and these guys are. The next job was tiling of the ground floor bathroom and laundry/furnace room. Again, highly pleased. Next up, hardwood installed on the main level. They had it done in 2 days. Wonderful!!! Bathrooms came next. His crew did everything except the plumbing and electrical work. The bathrooms were gutted and completely refitted. Jarred was able to expertly install the tiles that we selected. The light fixtures were on backorder in one of the bathrooms so the lighting during the work was not optimal. When the light fixtures were finally installed I found one of the tiles in the shower surround was cracked. Jarred replaced it immediately and with no fuss. Each bathroom was expertly done and we are very pleased with the work. We did much of the work of our remodel ourselves, but called in the professionals for the parts of the job that needed professionals, and they were a joy to work with. I recommended them to anyone who is looking for a great vendor to help with their home remodel. In 2010 we had our furnace replaced and the footprint was different (smaller) than the original. Jarred reworked the tile to make it look amazing. In 2011 of course we contacted Jarred to bid on the kitchen tile job. He and his crew did a super job with a beautiful, but not-so-user-friendly tile (so glad I didn't decide to do that one myself!!) Once again, highly satisfied with the work. My sister remodeled her kitchen and dining room in 2012 and we recommended Jarred for that job, as well. You know the vendor is trusted when you recommend them to your sister! The total price quoted above is for all jobs dated 2007-2011. He and his crew worked with us on our house for almost a year as the project expanded. The original plan was the lower level only, then we expanded it to the main level, then we decided to finish it off with the upper level.

Finally, after years of dealing with the most dysfunctional kitchen ever (9' x 14' U-shaped UGLY eat-in kitchen), I was ready to schedule and do my dream kitchen remodel project! I called Jarred Redding, who had previously done work for my very finicky sister, and came highly recommended. I called him mid-June to request a quote to perform the general contracting for my kitchen project. He was very prompt in answering my request, and also contributed huge value to my final design decision. He turned the itemized quote around very quickly and was extremely fair with his pricing. We planned the project start date for mid-July, and he met and maintained his commitments. Jarred and his crew showed up promptly at 9AM on July 16, and started the demo with laying down drop cloths and plastic sheeting to protect my hard wood floors (which did not get even 1 scratch through the entire process). They also moved the heavy stuff for me that I was unable to do myself. They treated my property very carefully and left my house and yard clean at the end of each workday. As in all remodels, there were a couple of surprises. First, was the wall we assumed wasn't load bearing, was actually load bearing. Second, the plumbing stack was not where we expected. Jarred handled both surprises (with humor and grace) and respected my project timeline. This was key, because my cabinet maker was having eye surgery and if the first part of the remodel went even one day long, it would have been an additional 4 weeks before the cabinets could be installed. By the way, nobody knew about this constraint when the project started. Jarred is absolutely fantastic! He exceeded my very high standards and expectations! I do a happy dance every time I go into my new kitchen and I can't WAIT for him to remodel the bathrooms!!

He took all of the poorly placed tiles down, replaced them with the 6 inch tiles I wanted to use to begin with, and had to retextured the back splash area so the new tiles would fit on it properly. They are super nice people and very prompt. What they tell you is what you get. Their pricing is very reasonable. I would use them in a heartbeat. They did a beautiful job. It only took them two days to finish the work.
