+ 0 moreFantastic. Couldn't be happier. The gate had not worked since it was installed 10 months prior and now everything works perfectly. Alan from Raynor and Chris from WCT came out and reviewed the mess that was left by Myers and provided reasonable estimates to fix everything. When their teams arrived, they were professional and worked non stop, except when they were explaining what had been done and what they were going to do next. Pure professionals. Exceptional people, companies and definitely recommend.
Description of Work: Raynor did repair work to our Liftmaster automatic security gate, which was installed incorrectly by Myers Fencing. The entire project was a "redo", and included masonry work on the brick pillars, the repairs to the fence and circuit boards, a key pedestal, and all of the electrical, which was done by WCT Services. A nightmare of a job due to the mess they were faced with vs. starting it as if new.

It required removing and disposing of our old wooden door which was very heavy. The price was very reasonable and there was no heavy sales pitch. We wanted a new, lighter well-insulated door for a two car garage and that's what we got.

+ 0 moreThe guys at Raynor did a great job working on my garage door. They came out twice to trouble shoot and believed they had taken care of issue on first try. Door worked ok for a couple of days then started acting up again. Called back for additional appointment and they were very responsive to my request. They came out second time and replace photo eye's on door and that took care of problem. They apologized for the extra time to fix the issue, but honestly the door worked fine after they adjusted on the first visit, but they didn't charge another service charge for 2nd visit. I will definitely use them again and refer to my friends.
Description of Work: Repaired garage door that wouldn't close due to obstruction sensor fault.

+ -1 moreEverything went great..... the entire installation was completed on time..... the installers (Carl Sayre and Glenn) did an excellent job and were so gracious explaining the new doors and how they operate . They did a great job and once finished they cleaned up the area, hauled away the old doors and the Garage hasn't looked this good in over 50 years ! The new doors made a world of difference ! I would highly recommend Raynor Garage Doors of Lexington (Raynor Door Authority Of Lexington ) for their product quality, personnel professionalism, pricing and installation quality. Great job in all aspects of the project !
Description of Work: Received general information by phone from Raynor Garage Doors of Lexington on my needs for two new garage doors by very courteous customer service personnel. . This was followed up the next day with a scheduled appointment by a Representative (Troy Walls) who re-measured the doors needed ( I had received the wrong information on the door size needed by two other installers during quoting) Troy did a thorough job of measuring and checking out the wood trim in the work area to make sure there would be no hidden problems. We talked over the cost of the new doors, locks, remove and haul away of old doors ....etc. He was able to give me a total price of everything...... in writing so there would be no surprises later on. I was very pleased with Troy's professionalism, fairness, accuracy and honesty and signed a contract for the job to be completed by mid July.

Description of Work: This will be a two part review as I am awaiting installation of my garage door. However, after three meetings with three different garage door companies I was the most impressed with Raynor. Mark was incredibly informative, experienced, and honest about pricing and even showing me in detail why my present door has problems and where they exist. He was not a hard sell technician. The others were. I'll write again when the door has been installed.

+ 0 moreI was pleased with them and they were very good to work with. They did a good job. They were prompt and knowledgeable. The only disappointment was that the product broke sooner than I had anticipated. The electric gate motor opener broke sooner than I anticipated or expected. They didn't make it, they just put it in. They came out and fixed it and everything was fine. They were very dependable. I was not as satisfied with the manufacturer (unknown) of the electric gate. They were good and friendly. They didn't charge me a whole lot of money to do it. I will certainly use them again.

Description of Work: I live in a condo and there was a Groundhog that got into my garage and chewed the wiring and sensors from my garage door. I called Raynor (not knowing what brand name my garage door was) and they told me they would send someone out that afternoon. Jake showed up around 4 PM. He tried to fix the garage door in 100 degree plus weather but did not have a sensor that went with my door. Jake called another company (a competitor of his) who had the distributorship on my door and they had a pair of sensors. He told me they were easy to install and if I had any problems installing them to call him. I went the next day and bought the sensors ($38.00) and installed them myself. Jake did not charge me for the service call. If I ever need a new garage door or service this is the company I will always call...Raynor....Jake, your are rare in this day and time..you gained me as a customer and many friends to whom I will tell of your service.

+ -1 moreMy wife's Toyota Rav4 was stuck in the garage due to (2) broken garage door springs. Although the repair could not be completed until Tuesday (5.01.12), a Raynor door tech still came by on Monday (4.30.12) and clamped the springs so the door would raise and lower as normal at no charge, which enabled my wife and I to get off to work on time. Then Jake "The Man" Jacobs stopped by on 5.01.12 and replaced both springs in less than 30 minutes.. And the best part - the repair was completed at a flat rate! Gosh I wish someone else was here so we could chest-bump each other, or at least high-5.. you know? A didn't know such service oriented companies still existed. These guys are clearly the "Authority" on garage doors in the Lexington area - Les

Description of Work: They came out once in June and then again in October. They did garage door repair. The first time there was a broken spring so the garage door would not open or close. The second time the the same garage door had become unleveled and they fixed that and he also put a rubber gasket that goes on the bottom of the door, he replaced those for me.

They did an excellent job. I was very pleased with them. They did a perfect job in terms of garage doors. They put it all together and made it all work well. If need be, then I would use their services again. They had initially done some work for me and that’s why I called them. They were responsive when they came out to get the work done. They were first rate people.

Professional crew and responsive manager.
