Best I can remember it went ok.

It went very well. The service man was very nice and polite. He wasted no time getting the job done. He also made sure I knew the best way to care for the disposal. Very positive experience.

Everything went very well, we are so glad we had it done.

I had to use PSI through my home warranty company, which is why I have used them more than once. The first time they were sent to my house, I could not use my washing machine because the exit drain was clogged. The plumber who came said that my pipes were too small and that there was nothing he could do without a very expensive pipe replacement that would involve digging up the concrete basement floor. I called then called another plumber who unclogged the pipe with no problem. The second time they were sent to replace our hot water heater. First they said they had ordered the wrong size. Then when they installed the second hot water heater they brought, they ran the pipe in this very strange way across the room so that it cuts off some of the room and is just hanging in the air (it is plastic pipe with a 90 degree angle in it and could be easily pulled down if anyone bumps it). They also used a very long length of flexible tubing to go from the gas pipe to the hot water heater, which another HVAC professional has told me since is out of code since it is too long.

Workers on time professional and efficent. All work completed on time. Also cleaned up all areas each day. They took time to discuss what was needed to be done and the best way to accomplish the best results.

We called them to have them investigate low water pressure in bathtub. After showing up 2 hours late. They didn't have the correct part so they left and had to come back a separate day. YET AGAIN they were late. My husband had to take off work both times to accommodate their lack regard for appointment times. I called them and asked them why they were late and they attempted to make up excuses. I told them just to forget the appointment, but they threatened me that I would have to make some kind of fee because I was cancelling. They also tried to tell me I would have to pay for a part that did even work. After telling me that I would be paying more for cancelling the appointment I told them to go ahead and come out. They came back the second time to try the new part, which did not work. They wanted to come back and cut two holes into the dry wall, which we could not do because we were in the process of selling the home. We will never use them again!

Called on Friday morning, they showed up Friday morning (about 15 minutes late), and diagnosed the problem and fixed it within the hour. They service guy suggested waiving the trip charge and just charging me the hourly labor fee, but I don't think the office would let him do it because I gave him the Angie's List coupon (which they did honor with the trip charge).

Plumbing Systems first came out and gave an estimate and then we set up an appt to complete the work. The technician was on time, professional and fixed the problem quickly. The repair cost came in exactly in line with the estimate. Great work. Will definitely use again.

We had a terrible smell in our office that another plumber had told us and quot;just happensand quot;. Thankfully I called these guys and Cameron came right out that day. He spent two whole days searching every inch of our large historic home for the problem. Once he found it, he immediately started work on it. Regardless of if this was the correct solution or not (it's too early to tell), I will use these guys again any time we need plumbing services.

When we tried to turn off our outside faucet after watering early on Sunday morning the handle felt 'stripped and it would not shut off. So we had to turn off the water to our entire house. I got on Angie's List with little hope that we could find help on early on a Sunday, especially on a holiday weekend. I chose Plumbing Systems Inc. based on the reviews here and boy am I glad I did. Within 30-40 minutes of leaving a voice mail I got a return call from Chris who diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate of cost based on the problem and situation we had with availability of items due to it being a holiday. Chris promised to be at our house within and hour and he showed up right on time. When it turned out our problem was a little bigger than anticipated Chris explained the difference in the original estimate and the variance in cost was quite reasonable. He did the job quickly and cleaned up after. He was professional at every point in the process. I highly recommend Plumbing Systems, Inc. We were very impressed not only with the work provided but a level of service that seems quite rare these days.

Another good experience for me with Plumbing Systems. Chris arrived a bit later than he had planned, but kept in touch with me by phone. He performed meticulous work as usual. He installed a new faucet on the kitchen sink. He is neat and cleans up carefully after himself. He also installed new "insides" in an ancient toilet and tested to make sure there were no leaks or overflow. Then he took apart the faucets on the basin in the same bathroom as the toilet. He replaced what was needed (was not the really old type where you have to use washers) and tested those and checked at the cut-off values under the basin to be sure that they were not leaking. He cleaned up every carefully after himself. Chris and all others from Plumbing Systems have always been very courteous and very professional. They are not the cheapest plumber hereabouts, but it is worth it to me to know that the job is done right and that I feel I can trust the plumbing techs from this company.

I called them and they were very responsive. They came out and replaced the exterior faucet, but the replacement did not stop the leak. They returned the very next morning with additional parts and repaired the leak - they upgraded the external faucet and answered all my questions about how to avoid this problem in the future. I also used their services previously to replace my hot water heater. They provided the same prompt and professional response.

We had a leaky tub faucet that needed to be fixed. The nipple coming out of the wall was stuck and we couldn't get it removed. They came and removed it, replaced the nipple and put a new faucet on. It was great they removed the nipple for us, but they didn't have the right size nipple and instead of creating a solution, they just used one that was too long. This meant when you screwed the faucet on there was a 1/4 inch gap between the end of the faucet and the wall, which looked terrible! They basically said that was all they could do, charged us 200 bucks and left. I was so disappointed. Yes the leak was fixed but now we had this unfinished looking tub. I went to Home Depot and asked in the plumbing section. The guy there actually took the time to understand what I wanted and said he would weld a pipe that would work (which he did!). He brought it in the next day and I replaced the faucet and fixed it myself. Should have just saved my money and done it myself to begin with!!!!

There were some issues that took a little negotiation and it took a lot longer than I expected. No matter what the problem they were always courteous and attentive. Overall it was a good experience.

We had a faucet that became clogged. The folks showed up and could not find any reason for the clogged faucet so worked very hard to disassemble the faucet and all attached to it. Eventually found that the internal hose was faulty and replaced the hose and reassembled the entire faucet.The job was well done.

We called in the morning and they were there in the afternoon. They gave us a quote and then called KU to mark the electric lines. They came back later in the evening and completed the repairs the same day. Cameron was very professional and efficient.

My appointment was scheduled for between 8 a.m. and noon. At 11:45 I called the office to make sure I was still on the schedule as the plumber had not arrived. He made a quick call to the plumber and within a few minutes he was at my house. Before he did any work, I was given a written quote. Once I accepted the quote, he got right to work, cleaning up the mess when he was done. I was very pleased with the work.

We received a quote of $84.50/hr, from PSI, which I felt was pretty high, but did find them to be prompt and professional when they came out for the estimate, so we scheduled them to come back in a few days when we could take a little time from work first thing in the morning. The morning they were to arrive, we received a call right at 9:15, our service appt time, stating they had another call they had to get to and would be 45 minutes late. Understanding emergencies happen, we said that was fine. Almost exactly 1-1/2 hours later, at 10:40, Chris arrived. He was very polite and knowledgeable and got right to work, stating they were very busy that day. It didn't take long before he cut and found the source of the leak. He explained our options and strongly leaned to the full replacement of the shower fixture/pipe. He told us he'd have to go pick up the equipment and make another stop along the way on another service call. So 50 minutes after he arrived very late, he left again at 11:30 to do this. By 1:30, I was beginning to wonder if we should call, but finally at 2PM, he came back - after waiting again...this time 2-1/2 hours. Again, he got right to work and two hours later, by 4PM with my kids here and the work day almost finished, he said he had everything fixed. He offered to clean up, but quite frankly, at $85 an hour, I'm willing to sweep up some drywall flakes. It was then he calculated his bill and charged us for four hours of work. He stated he was here 1-1/2 hours before he left to get the replacement parts and then the additional 2 hours, plus travel. However, when I told him the times he arrived and left and explained my concerns about his calculations, he cut off 30 minutes (which is more accurate) from his hourly rate and did so a bit reluctantly. I also inquired about the Angie's List coupon and received the $15 off. However, I still feel we were overcharged and do have issue with being put on hold for 3-1/2 unneccessary hours of my personal time so that someone can do a job elsewhere (2 as a matter of fact) when I have an appointment and then proceed to attempt to charge me full rate, never offering to make a cut. It sends the message that their time and other customer's time is more important than my own. We ended up paying about $296 for the hourly rate labor, plus a $45 trip fee and $125.41 for a very basic shower kit and replacement pipe, totaling $451, which I felt was very overpriced. When I swept up the floor in my kitchen, I noticed something shiny on the walls and my dining table. This ended up being metal that dripped down onto my walls when the pipes were welded, I'm assuming. I could not get it all off and will have to paint again. Luckily, it came off my table. I suggest in the future a way to cover ceiling openings when performing welding, as I never imagined this work would leave marks on my walls. I also recommend for anyone using PSI, to keep track of the time. My positive I draw from it was Chris being a very pleasant person and getting the problem fixed. However, considering how we were set-aside, overcharged, and the clean up, I doubt we will use them again.

I was very pleased with the service overall. I had the same problem as a prior reporter: when I called the phone number I reached a man in a van on New Circle. He pulled over and scheduled me for the next day and said I would get a phone call when they were on their way. I never recieved that call and finally called the main number again. This time I got the secretary who told me I hadn't actually been scheduled. They fit me in that evening and didn't charge me the extra evening rate. The plumber was very nice, didn't tease me about the stupid brain fart that caused the blocked drain, and cleaned up after himself.

We called late Saturday night because our basement floor drain and basement tub drain were backing up when running the washer. He answered our call right away and came Sunday morning at a time we requested for service. He arrived promptly and professionally and was very efficient. Our problem was solved within about an hour.

I was having a problem with my lower level toilet leaking off and on. I tried replacing the flapper a few times, but the toilet continued to run (not all the time), so I was @ my wits end thinking I would have to replace the whole toilet. I had heard of Angies list and decided to see about a plumber. I found PSI and set up an appointment, which was really a date, not a time ,cause they couldn't give a time. But, when they called that day and gave me how long they would be before they arrived, they were very punctual. Chris was very friendly, courteous, and professional. He replaced my fill spout in the tank and even turned my water on for the frig door ice/water dispenser from down in my crawl space (which he did not charge for). All was completed with no mess to clean up. I would recommend PSI and I will call them again with all my plumbing problems...

We got a quote and were very happy with the work completed. The service man was very nice as well. We will def use PSI again.

The plumber determined that the faucet could be fixed rather than going the more expensive route of replacement. He returned with needed parts and repaired the faucet.

Before they even came out to look at the job, the plumber at PSI made me aware that replacement faucets could be difficult to find. Another plumber had told us much the same, but indicated that he would charge us for the time he took to find them; he estimated the cost to be around $800.00. PSI completed the job when they indicated they would and for $400.00, which included the time to get new faucets and other required hardware. The first contact with PSI was professional and gave me confidence that my mother would not be taken advantage of. I would definitely hire them again!
