Description of Work: Overhead doors of Lexington removed my existing (2 yr. old, new construction) cheap, tinny, overhead garage door and replaced it with an insulated steel garage door. The 2 installers were prompt and arrived ready to work. They were very courteous and explained anything I had a question about, in a pleasant, calm way. I have had dealings with Overhead Doors, in another state, for many years, and Overhead Doors of Lexington represented the mother company very well. |The reason for the garage door switch: The temperature in my East-facing garage has dropped over 15*, since the new door was installed. The garage was too hot to put my vehicle in, previous to the switch and my attached house is, now, easier to keep cool. (and warm, in the winter) Lots of "Plus-es" going on here. I LOVE "WIN-WINs!!" Overhead Doors of Lexington ROCKS!

Description of Work: Installed a new garage door opener & oiled the wheels, tracks & coil. It works great.

Description of Work: Just called Overhead Door because my garage door light would not come on. I had changed the bulb twice and thought maybe I had a short in the wiring. The gentleman who answered the phone said it was probably the connection at the back of the bulb and that I could fix it easily myself. He stressed safety (several times) and told me to make sure the opener was unplugged, remove the bulb, clean the connection, and check for loose wires. It worked!!! saved me money (I live in Richmond) and only took 5 minutes. How awesome is that! Thank you so much for being helpful and honest. I appreciate it more than you know.

Description of Work: My garage door would not close and stopped at an angle that did not allow manual closure. I then referenced Angie's List and called Overhead Door Company of Lexington. They thought they could provide assistance and planned on calling me after contacting a technician. Since it was mid-afternoon, I waited about 30 minutes and began calling again. I was able to find another Company who had a technician at my door in about 20 minutes and all was taken care of within 45 minutes. I therefore cancelled my call to Overhead Door Company. My contact with Overhead Door was very courteous. I would not hesitate in calling them again if needed, based on the reports on Angie's List and my limited experience.
