I called to get an estimate to replace 4 sections of sidewalk in front of my house. I received a written estimate by fax a couple hours later. His price was a little more than another estimate I received, $925 vs around $800, and others I had heard about but the work was better than much of what I had seen around town. I made an appointment to get the work done one morning and he arrived with 1 other person and plenty of equipment to do the job quickly, including a Bobcat loader. Shortly after starting I went to work. Upon arriving home I saw that the sidewalk sections had been covered with plastic sheeting on wood boards to protect the concrete finish from damage should it rain before the concrete had set. A day or so later after the concrete had set he returned to remove the plastic sheeting and forms and fill in the gaps where the forms had been and put the grass/sod back in place. After they had finished and everything looked good I paid them for their work.
