Monthie Mechanical Inc. was formed in 1993 by husband and wife team Jeff and Kim Monthie. In five short years Monthie Mechanical Inc. had achieved the honor of becoming Small Business of the Year, awarded by the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce. What had begun as a two employee company has grown to a company of sixteen full time employees. In 2007 Monthie Mechanical Inc. obtained a brand new office building with a warehouse and showroom. As the company has grown over the years Jeff and Kim Monthie are still directly involved with the day-to-day operation of the company, making sure that you receive the absolute best service possible from the Monthie Mechanical team. Monthie Mechanical Inc. is dedicated to providing the highest standards of indoor comfort through products, service, education, and integrity for our customers. You can count on us to provide you with a system and solution that fits your unique needs, and since we've installed many systems in this area we've earned a reputation for doing the job right the first time. Description of Work: Our geothermal heating stopped along with the hot water heater and they fixed it though it needed a very expensive part they were able to get the same part much cheaper!

Description of Work: We are set up for twice a year check-up on our hea tpump with Monthie. They keep in touch about coming out and are right on time, get the work done and leave a report. Gregg, the serviceman is great! He's very pleasant and |explains anything we have a question about. We definitely recommend Monthie to anyone needing AC or heat pump service.

Description of Work: Our furnace stopped working on one of the coldest days this winter, and of course, on a weekend. The firm we had used for 20 years could not come out on a weekend. I looked on Angie's List and Monthie was top rated. I called them and they bent over backwards to try to get us some heat that weekend. We ended up buying an entirely HVAC system from them. They went the extra mile and it paid off!

Thank you for your review of our services rendered July of 2013. I have pulled your file and reviewed our service with the technician. As this was the first time we have ever been to your home, we had no history to refer to. We have no idea unless you tell us whether this is a first time occurrence which may be the result of a loose service valve or a recurring problem. Had you called us back when your system went down again, we would have waived the diagnostic, performed the leak test at the usual charge and advised on the needed repairs. Since you indicated to our technician that you had HVAC knowledge, he assumed you were making the decision that was right for you.
