They are fabulous. We have been with Merry Maids in different cities for thirty years and they are just wonderful.

It was excellent. The crew did a great job, and they charged a reasonable price.

Horrible, the branch MANAGER is very rude, they will never step a foot in my house!

Routine tasks like dusting the baseboards and blinds are not consistently done. Bathtub sometimes has residual scum. Not all surface areas cleaned.

We've used companies and individuals in the past. Merry Maids surpasses our past experiences when combining consistency, quality and price. I highly recommend them.

The first cleaning didn't go so well. The housekeepers were polite and punctual, but they didn't do a very thorough job cleaning. Baseboards that were supposed to be cleaned weren't. Blinds weren't dusted. The stove top wasn't cleaned. After a few times of having it go wrong and being compensated for it, I got a new team that did better. But their list of things they won't do has gotten so long that I'm thinking it's not worth it to keep them on. I would say this service is a good introduction to housekeeping for someone like me who's never hired a housekeeper.

I found a team captain who I thought did a good job, and I requested that she be assigned to my house permanently. Merry Maids accommodated my request. The team works hard, is thorough and does a better than average job of cleaning. As with any cleaning service, they don't move things and clean under them or clean behind furniture. We have had no problems with damage, breakage or theft. If I leave a note asking that special attention be paid to a certain area, they honor my request. Overall, I am satisfied with the service provided by Merry Maids. I believe their charge ($145 to clean approximately 4,000 sq ft) is reasonable.

They are very friendly and responsive. They do a great job.

Two very nice people showed up on time. I told them not to clean one bedroom. I'd also already spent a lot of effort in another bedroom and the kitchen. They called me at work and said they needed more time to finish. I'm thinking their vacuum cleaner must have no power, because I only have three rugs in the house, and the remainder is hardwood and vinyl. We had agreed that they would stop at three hours, which they did, leaving the kitchen undone, along with bits of trash and a discarded vacuum cleaner bag on the counter. I've never received a receipt for my credit card payment; expected one to be either left on the kitchen counter or mailed to me. (I'm crossing my fingers there won't be any surprises on that score.) Not the best cleaning experience I've ever had.

NOT good at all, very poor service.

They did an okay job on the windows. Not much effort on the rest of the house. No dusting above refrigerator, ceiling fans, or cleaned the cabinets as per request to the initial estimate. Bathrooms weren't thoroughly cleaned. Still saw gunk in bathtub! Wiped wood stairs with a wet cloth and didn't even vacuum them first. There was crude in all the corners. Called to voice my concern, another team came out and before they got out of the car, a girl threw a cigarette butt in my neighbors yard. Called to complain that my neighbor wasn't happy, and the "supervisor" said 'some people are just picky, huh?' After they left, I still really wasn't pleased. I don't like having to tell someone how to do their job. I just expect it to be done especially when the "supervisor" does a walk through of your house, takes notes, and charges you an arm and a leg. I will never, ever hire them again. It was a terrible service.
